14/11/2025: Good location in the town of Cagli, spacious restaurant with slightly dated furnishings, very friendly and helpful staff. I had spaghetti carbonara, which was excellent. It lacked a bit of spice, but it was probably enough to satisfy even those who don't like it. Then the pizza slices, which were too thin for my taste and lacking in crust.
04/10/2025: I found myself eating at this pizzeria because almost everything in the area was closed, I certainly wouldn't have chosen it due to its rather questionable 80s look, at least it's clean, I only tried the pizza, good dough but unfortunately very low quality ingredients, but the sore point is the bill, really high for what was offered (pizza, medium beer, portion of potatoes and coffee €26)

23/11/2025: Five of us arrived unexpectedly on a Sunday and were greeted with a truly special welcome. The owners, a very kind couple, immediately made us feel at home. The cured meats, bread, and wine were excellent, with a truly amazing house wine. We also greatly appreciated their advice and friendly conversation, which made the lunch even more enjoyable. A simple, authentic, and well-kept place, where you can sense their passion for what they do. We'll definitely be back!
06/09/2025: We had lunch outside this small restaurant in the center of Cagli.
The cured meats and cheese appetizer was very good, and you could tell the ingredients were high-quality.
The pumpkin-filled caramels with cacio e pepe were absolutely amazing, a truly top-notch dish. Unfortunately, the porcini and truffle tortelli lacked both truffle and porcini mushrooms.
The beef fillet and guinea fowl were both very good (the main courses were a bit pricey).
The mascarpone cream was quite unsavory, a runny foam that bore little resemblance to what was described.
Overall, a nice place to eat good-quality, well-cooked products.

29/08/2025: Three people. They'd run out of pizza dough, and it wasn't even possible to order from the kitchen at 8:45 PM. We didn't make a reservation because we'd just arrived. It's not so much the reason you're not letting us eat, I didn't make a reservation, you might be fully booked, it was the way it was done. Terrible.

La Ferraia Ristorante

01/09/2025: We'll take a familiar night with 20 people in the Ferraia, a magic house, a house - ancient fattoria ristrutturata with cure - in which the camera has a bathroom, a splendid kitchen, a sublime garden and a large swimming pool that has a large pool for a baby and a child. It's all in a green oasis, in the Appennini delle Marche.
It is not possible to pay for the comfort of Loris' warmth, he is a padrone of the house, but he is the one who takes care of a peaceful and fantastic vacation, welcomes with great care, always with benevolence and kindness. A service, professionalism and kindness with great service.
Inoltre, abbiamo scoperto a meravigliosa region, the Market — region bordering with Umbria — with paesini bellini vicini like Pianello - with city and borghi fortificati like Cagli, most vicino, Urbino — most noted during the Rinascimento, it is the birth of Raffaello, and Gubbio — a medieval villaggio, living museum. A vero colpo di heart…
And yet, the population is very cordial, kind and pre-mature, very interested in tourists who enjoy this splendid region.
In fine, I want to heat up Loris for his friend, as Fabio and all the squadra della Ferraia, to be able to take care of this magnificently beautiful holiday in our family for 20 years with a dolce sogno ad occhi aperti!
We had an enchanting family stay with 20 people at Ferraia, a magical place — a carefully renovated old farmstead where each bedroom has a bathroom, a stunning kitchen, a magnificent garden, and a large swimming pool that brought great joy to both children and parents. All of this is set in a lush green environment among the Apennines of Marche.
We also want to highlight the warm hospitality of Loris, the host, who made our stay peaceful and wonderful, always attentive and caring with kindness and benevolence. The service, professionalism, and friendliness were top-notch.
Moreover, we discovered a beautiful region—Marche—bordering Umbria—with fortified towns and villages such as Cagli, very close by, Urbino—famous during the Renaissance and the birthplace of Raphael, and Gubbio—a medieval village and living museum. Truly a favorite...
On top of that, the locals are very friendly, kind, and caring—highly interested in tourists eager to explore this beautiful region.
Finally, we would like to warmly thank Loris for his hospitality, as well as Fabio and the entire Ferraia team, for allowing us to discover this magnificent place, which turned our family vacation for 20 into a sweet, waking dream!

27/04/2025: Grazie alla manifestazione “DISTINTI SALUMI”, organizzata da Slow Food Italia con la collaborazione del Comune di Cagli (PU) e di Slow Food Marche abbiamo scoperto questa Gastrosteria in pieno centro storico. Il Fontes propone prodotti di altissima qualità. I salumi di loro produzione sono eccellenti! Complimenti a Valerio Ferri, Norcino è proprietario di questo spettacolare esercizio commerciale. Rapporto qualità / prezzo ottimo. Noi lo consigliamo.
05/04/2025: Scoperta occasionale. Locale molto accogliente grazie al titolare assai cortese e affabile e all'arredamento confortevole. Menù poco pretenzioso con piatti classici locali ben realizzati. Dolce finale al mascarpone e amarene squisito. Prezzo giusto.

14/08/2024: Pizzeria molto grande vicino alla torre, ha tavoli fuori su una grande terrazza dove abbiamo mangiato. Fritti e soprattutto olive ascolane, molto buoni. Abbiamo preso varie pizze, tutte molto buone. Servizio veloce e cordiale. Se siete da quelle parti, da provare.

27/06/2024: Che dire … si mangia da Dio . Il titolare ci ha consigliato la carbonara della chef (moglie) eravamo in 4 ci ha consigliato di fare per tre . Abbondante è super buona. Consiglio di provare la piada e gli affettati . Parcheggio enorme e posti a sedere fuori in veranda .
