12/11/2025: Exceptional trattoria. We ate incredibly fresh fish, cooked simply but deliciously. The price was fair, especially considering the quality of the ingredients. Kindness and courtesy were the hallmarks of our evening. We'll definitely be back.

09/01/2026: Enjoyable holiday in a quiet little hotel with a lovely pool. Warm welcome from the owners, very clean rooms, housekeeping daily. The homemade meals were delicious.

Honestly, it takes courage to enter from the outside, but as soon as you step through the door, you'll find a welcoming and spotlessly clean environment.
Impeccable service, just the right amount of friendliness, no intrusiveness.
We had two first courses, a mixed appetizer, and desserts, two adults and a child.
Amazing mussels, truly rich and flavorful seafood ragu.
Crostini with burrata and anchovies. I'll dream about them tonight.
Side note: The bathroom is also super clean and spacious.

16/02/2026: On a Sunday evening, it was practically the only place open. Rustic, unpretentious, with efficient staff. The pizza was delicious, very light and well-seasoned, cooked in round pans. The bruschetta with Adriatic anchovies and Ascoli olives was excellent.

06/03/2026: Hospitality was poor, cold appetizers were good, hot clams and mussels were inedible. Mezze maniche allo scoglio (meat and seafood pasta) with fish that was definitely recycled, water and half a liter of wine, total €70 for two without a receipt. Not recommended.
22/02/2026: If you're thinking of eating fish, you're in the right place. Excellent roast and fried fish. People around us were eating huge pans of pasta dishes, which we skipped. The atmosphere is 1970s/80s-style, but clean and tidy.

16/08/2025: We ordered two mixed fried fish dishes, which arrived in less than 10 minutes as a single dish. They were truly delicious, and the quality of the fish was evident throughout. Especially the calamari, which was incredibly tender.
The atmosphere was relaxed and the view of the umbrellas and the sea was beautiful.

27/07/2025: The menu was meager. By 8 pm, the ingredients were already missing. We almost felt obligated to eat the only sandwich on the menu. The portion of fries was paltry. Nothing special!!!

09/08/2025: A small shop selling Amaretti della Valdaso, soft, incredibly fragrant, and incredibly fresh. I've been familiar with the classic ones and the "brutti ma buoni" ones, made with hazelnut paste, for years. This year, I decided to try the orange, coconut, and pistachio flavors: they're all delicious, because the aroma doesn't overpower the original flavor. Just be careful of the step at the entrance: it's written about it over and over again, but I still managed to trip over it!

06/09/2024: Posto che all'inizio sembra ok ma con il tempo ti rendi conto dello squallore del locale la falsità del proprietario il menù sempre uguale, pesce super congelato e anche di cattiva qualità, con gli antipasti sono stata male una settimana
02/09/2024: Servizio curato e preciso, c erano solo il Capo e la Figlia eppure le sale sono state servite in modo impeccabile. Le cozze buonissime, materie prime Freschissime e di prima qualità. La Carbonara di pesce, il fritto , l antipasto, niente da eccepire. La cameriera sempre sorridente e Marco sa metterti a proprio agio e farti sentire subito a casa... Cosa aspettate? Prenotate al Matepaya!!!! Ci abbiamo messo molto a trovare un tavolo e già qui ho capito che sarei stata benissimo! Ottimo connubio gusto e qualità 💛

21/06/2025: Non lo consiglio!! Prima di tutto non hanno un menu, ne listino prezzi, abbiamo chiesto due fritture di Calamari e erano stracotti sembrava di mangiare cartone!!! Insalata verde pieno di sale , insomma una cattiva esperienza non lo consiglio a nessuno
