24/12/2024: I have known this chalet/bathing establishment since 1984. The alternation of owners has never disappointed my expectations; very fresh fish, coming from the neighboring San Benedetto, enjoyed in the splendid marine setting. Currently, it is run by a welcoming Neapolitan family, with its "professional" cuisine. Open all year. Reservations recommended on weekends.

30/11/2024: Simple and welcoming place by the sea..... practically a postcard.....today with the rough sea..,....excellent and efficient service, food.....what can I say, as a former fisherman, for having eaten on Saturday for lunch, my modest opinion is excellent quality raw materials and perfect choices of cooking methods because when the fish is fresh it does not require manipulation, but a lot of simplicity in execution. Price in line with what they offer, honest! Congratulations for everything.

12/12/2024: Sometimes a simple idea is a stroke of genius. So, when Benedetta and Luca decided to open their little but nice organic food store, they also had the idea to prepare and serve small dishes of cooked fresh vegetables, eggs, grains, seeds, etc. creating a humble but tasting menu of organic finger foods. Suddenly and unexpectedly the "organic shop/tasteful foods" formula became so successful that they had to enlarge the shop adding a larger clean cuisine and a nice cozy tables area. Today, at Mirtillo Viola you can simply buy local fresh vegetables or a freshly made piece of bread or, if you prefer, you can take your foods home or spend some very relaxing time while eating there. Saturday night, for the "AperiBio", is better to book in advance. The owners are very kind, the staff is efficient and courteous, the prices are affordable, and the food is very tasteful, sometimes slightly spiced and plenty of Mediterranean flavour. Furthermore, Luca is a professional language teacher and, of course, he speaks fluent English. What else?

05/01/2025: We had dinner and stayed for a night in this farmhouse and camper stop area. The structure is located in a truly beautiful position between Grottammare and Ripatransone in the greenery of the hill with a view that goes from the sea to the snow-capped mountains. For campers: the pitches are large and equipped with electricity. Parking allows loading and unloading for 15 euros per night. As for the catering, we had a decent dinner. The products are of good quality, the prices are honest, the quantities are undoubtedly very generous and the staff are very courteous. Unfortunately, the cooking did not seem adequate to the rest.

02/01/2025: We had a wonderful evening here! The waiters were all very friendly and attentive. The seafood is fresh and deliciously prepared! Highly recommended are the mixed “Crudi”, there are lots of small plates and you can then taste and enjoy everything as a couple. One dish was good, but not quite to our taste, when we told the waiter, he immediately brought another dish that was really very special and fine - a very hard-working and motivated team! The location right on the beach is also wonderful! Modern and well-kept facility! Highly recommended! Even with children and dogs!

The restaurant boasts a breathtaking panoramic view of the sea, which contributes to creating a romantic and relaxing atmosphere. The service was impeccable: the staff, courteous and professional, welcomed us with a smile and were able to recommend dishes and wines based on our tastes. The menu is well assorted, with a variety of dishes ranging from traditional cuisine to more innovative creations, with different tasting itineraries suitable for every need. We opted for tradition and let ourselves be pampered by the initial cuttlefish, passing through the exciting undergrowth of bomboletti and finishing in style with a sailor's coffee tiramisu. The quality-price ratio is absolutely right, considering the high quality of the raw materials and attention to detail. We will return to try the "modern" proposal.
