16/02/2026: Crostata is standard, as is linguine with sea carbonara. It's a shame there's no table on the terrace, even though there were two free tables for the entire two hours – not at the front, but on the terrace. It's also a pity the waiter refilled our wine glasses without asking as he walked by. Oh well, at least the village pub has knife rests.
There are simpler restaurants that offer a more pleasant dining experience. I've heard the pizza is okay, but there are plenty of good pizzerias around.
02/12/2025: It's a spectacular pizzeria restaurant in every way, with a wonderful view of the lake. Plus, you can walk to the beach directly from the restaurant. I had an incredibly delicious risotto; we had a delicious appetizer and a second course of fish, both excellent and sublime. If you want to make a good impression and eat very well, make a reservation.

06/09/2025: I find the appetizers overpriced; one might even understand if they were elaborate dishes (with added sauces), but for the presentation of a tartare and prosciutto and buffalo mozzarella, I think the price is rather excessive. The desserts and pizza, however, are a plus.
02/09/2025: A nice little restaurant with helpful, friendly, and German-speaking staff. Delicious food, attractively presented. Only the outside ambiance could be a bit more appealing.

Trattoria Il Ritrovo

05/10/2025: The atmosphere was lovely, and the welcome was truly warm and friendly.
The food, alas, was forgettable.
The tourist menu costed €18 (there was nothing else) and consisted of:
industrial polenta with a hint of gorgonzola,
steak (?) barely 4 or 5 millimeters thick, inevitably served in an overcooked "shoe sole" version,
a side of potatoes and peppers floating soullessly in a watery liquid that was perhaps meant to be the cooking juices.
A fine place (are we sure?) for a passing worker's hasty lunch break. Absolutely unsuitable for a Sunday on the lake with the family.
12/09/2025: How did this restaurant get a 4.5-star rating? It's completely unjustified. The very small menu offered the tourist menu for €18. The pasta starter was okay, but the main course was simply bad and oily. The kitchen opens at 6:30 p.m. We arrived at 6:20 p.m. and were given strange looks. We were served at 6:35 p.m., even though we were the only customers. It wasn't clean, and it reeked of smoke. Despite the friendly waiter, we didn't feel comfortable here. For us, this was anything but an authentic Italian restaurant serving home-style cooking. A real disappointment!

11/01/2026: On New Year's Eve 2025, six of us dined at Ristorante Il Pescatore. The menu was very limited, and the prices were extremely high that evening—apparently due to a musician performing.
We had to wait around three hours for our food, which was completely unacceptable. The quality and portion sizes of the dishes were disproportionate to the prices:
€20 for spaghetti vongole with a mere five clams, or €30 for a beef fillet with very few fries, was outrageous.
Overall, the evening was a huge disappointment. For these prices, we expect significantly better quality, service, and organization.
We will not be returning to Ristorante Il Pescatore for the foreseeable future—the whole experience felt like a complete rip-off.
12/10/2025: Delicious (fish) restaurant with very good value for money. We had fish dishes, but the pizzas also seem to be highly recommended and popular.

07/04/2025: Eine Wanderung dahin lohnt sich auf jeden Fall, der Blick über den Lago Maggiore und die Berge ist sensationell.
Die Küche naja, Crostata ai frutti di Bosco war ganz gut, immer mehrere frische Kuchen sind da. Das Interieur ist spannend gestaltet.
Was mich jedoch sehr irritiert und ein Grund für diese Rezension ist, ist die Haltung eines Hundes im Zwinger, direkt unter der Aussenterrasse. Er steht mitten in seinen Exkrementen, es stinkt fürchterlich und das Tier scheint sehr verwahrlost zu sein, wenn man sich ihm nähert, jedoch sehr anhänglich und zutraulich. Er stinkt jedoch sehr stark... Frisches Trinkwasser habe ich nicht gesehen.
Im Restaurant wird neuerdings ein Hundemenu angeboten...?! Schade, dieses Tier hat besseres verdient. Sauberkeit im Zwinger wäre das Mindeste.
15/02/2025: Magico. Tutto bello. Come sempre. Oggj pranzo veloce. Tagliere di formaggi speciali, vino super , torta eccezionale. Accoglienza deliziosa, vista incantevole.

03/10/2024: Abbiamo fatto aperitivo prendendo degli spritz particolari che altrove non si trovano e abbiamo scelto di accompagnarli con arancini e cartocciate. Che dire, la qualità si sente tutta...il ripieno sia degli arancini che delle cartocciate talmente buono che si scioglieva in bocca.
Anche se si spende un po' ne vale assolutamente la pena!
26/09/2024: Es gibt eine große Auswahl an kleinen Küchlein (weiß nicht wie die alle heißen :-).
Leckerer Cappuccino etc. alles was wir probiert habe war sehr sehr lecker. Wir werden bestimmt noch ein paar mal wieder kommen.
