16/11/2025: I'll tell you how a magnificent place turns into a failure... Years ago, run by reliable people, it was an excellent restaurant, with good-quality traditional dishes and impeccable service. This year, we've been there several times with terrible results. Just to start, I'll tell you that despite being open on weekdays, it's practically always closed. I've been there several times in May and June, never finding a soul with the gates closed, and now in November, they're officially closed for three weeks. But the best part was in September when we managed to find it open on a Saturday... We entered in the early afternoon and were rudely told they were busy and wouldn't serve anything at the bar... With a sign, if you want a bottle of water or something else, they won't give you anything because they're busy with the food. We returned in the evening after returning from a walk and finally managed to eat, despite the extremely long service times and the quality having significantly deteriorated compared to the past. It's hilarious that the only historic drinking fountain at the start of the trek was closed years ago (kudos to the park authority), so you're forced to stop there... But no, they don't serve anything at the bar during peak hours. Customer courtesy has completely disappeared.
