06/07/2025: We ended up in Laveno for a wedding coming from Rome. Walking around the town in the morning we saw this place and were struck by the modern, simple and clean style... with a touch of homeliness. We booked for dinner. The service was extremely courteous, precise and attentive. We ate two excellent appetizers (eggplant parmigiana and egg with polenta). Then a risotto and the braised meat with polenta. Both were amazing! Excluding the wine (we treated ourselves to a Barolo) the price was between 30/40 euros including a dessert that we split between two. It's a shame to have it 700 km from home... We would definitely have returned.

Ingredienti di alta qualità (ho preso il Ganivel che consiglio) e il pane super super, non si “scioglie” come avviene spesso altrove ma ti permette di gustarti l’hamburger “a morsi” come deve essere. Birre ottime e prezzo corretto. Servizio veloce e gentile. “A place to be” in Laveno.

15/07/2025: An absolute gem on Lake Maggiore. Great location, I'd say the best hotel in town. Our room was small but nice with a great view. It was clean, of course, and had a coffee machine and a small refrigerator. Carrying our suitcases up two flights of stairs was a challenge, though. But the food, combined with the service, was top-notch. We'd be skeptical of a star rating. 🤩👍🏼Exceptional cuisine, above standard Italian cuisine. Very fair value. We'll definitely be back. Thanks to the team.

31/07/2025: Are you in Laveno and don't know where to eat? If you come here, you're guaranteed a great meal! Exactly a year ago, I had already been to this restaurant and had a wonderful (and delicious) memory of it. Being in the area again, I decided to return... and I was right! The restaurant has a traditional look, which is one of its strengths: it makes you feel right at home. Moving on to the food: the pizzas are truly amazing! My food memory never lies, and this time, too, the pizza was exceptional. Light dough, flavorful, and well-matched ingredients. Oh, and did I forget the prices? Very fair. Truly excellent value. Definitely worth trying!

04/07/2025: Beautiful view of the lake. The rooms are clean and spacious. The service was very friendly, and the breakfast was also decent. We were very satisfied and had a wonderful time there. Staying with our dog was also no problem.

30/06/2025: Locanda Pozzetto welcomes you to a fantastic location, where the beauty of Lake Maggiore embraces you with a breathtaking view. Well-kept greenery and structure with generous furnishings and spaces. Restaurant with a good number of seats but not crowded, it is not clear why the attention of the staff is so unresponsive. I am certainly not in a hurry, but drinking on a particularly hot evening must be immediate and not prompted. Excellent presentation of the dishes, the menu should be expanded and enriched with courses with more personality and territorial attention. If a diner has not consumed a course at all, it must be spontaneous to ask yourself the reason, taking it away without saying a word, is not a good sign of attention. The subsequent courses were appreciated, the bill absolutely in line with the offer. In my opinion, given the potential of the location, an upgrade in service and culinary refinement, would make you willingly spend even a higher amount.
