20/09/2025: I've been to this bar and found the croissants frozen and definitely old. In fact, the clerk confirmed that the cappuccinos were not from a pastry shop. I'm from the village but they certainly won't see me again.

23/03/2025: Situated right on the Varesina state road, this elegant establishment stands behind a sumptuous wrought-iron gate. This restaurant is housed in a sumptuous residence dating back to the second half of the 19th century. The restaurant offers a captivating blend of history and modernity. Guests are greeted formally by a very gracious staff member, who offers an unusual and highly appreciated tasting of the owners' own olive oil produced in the Val d'Orcia. A tasty and unexpected aperitif was also offered, a delightful prelude to a wonderful dinner. The chef, worthy of the most renowned Michelin-starred restaurants, is dedicated to satisfying the most sophisticated palates with delicate dishes that are both visually delightful and truly enchanting. White reigns supreme, dominating both the interior dining room and the outdoor patio, contrasting here with the pleasantly dated flooring featuring dark brown accents. The establishment is surrounded by greenery, so much so that from the outside, the presence of the road is almost forgotten. My need for gluten- and lactose-free cuisine was fully met without the slightest hesitation, without compromising the flavor or beauty of the dishes. There is free parking outside on the opposite side of the street, and parking is available inside the building. There are three steps to the entrance. I recommend a small ramp for wheelchair users and strollers, if you don't have one. For anyone looking for a quiet, elegant, and romantic location, I highly recommend it. 04/03/2026: Tuesday morning, the 3rd, I went to breakfast and the employee yawned at me with her mouth open while I was ordering. I noticed she was talking to her colleague through the earphones they provided. I turned towards the kitchen and saw her colleague laughing and making a yawning sound. On top of that, her uniform was dirty and the croissants were always cold. Little respect for the customer.

25/02/2026: I often order from Deliveroo and it's unfortunate that there's always something missing from the bags. I've worked at the MC myself and I'm aware of the various issues with rushes and staff shortages, but what I'm asking you to do is be careful. It doesn't take a genius to put two sandwiches and two cakes in bags, and unfortunately, it seems like the MC in Gerenzano isn't even capable of doing that. Fast food is fine, but at least the food has to be there, since it's been paid for. It's pointless for you to often tear off the bottom of every receipt to give yourself a top-rated review, when in reality you don't even know how to pack a bag. Thank you.
