25/05/2025: I was looking for an omakase dining experience and after some research I found this restaurant that had an unpredictable menu.
I admit that placing such trust, especially in the kitchen, is a challenge.
After all, when you have an omakase experience in a traditional Japanese restaurant, you already have an idea of what to expect. Here, however, the unknown was as big as modern cuisine.
Well, we found ourselves in one of the best restaurants we have ever tried. We have been to other starred restaurants and some "set by stars" (without a star yet), and this one has forcefully entered our top 3.
We particularly appreciated the contact with the chef: present but never invasive.
I will not describe the dishes; the photos in the gallery will speak for themselves of their beauty. But I can assure you that they are delicious, with a couple of truly stratospheric creations.
Go there.

19/05/2025: I have been to this restaurant and I had a good time. Friendly and well-prepared staff, good and well-presented food. The dishes I liked were the ravioli and the lamb toast.

Riconfermato alla grande, con la consueta maestria del titolare, mai pressante e discreto, con i tempi giusti.
Piatti ben presentati, solita eccellenza delle materie prime; antipasto di carne all'albese, con cipolla tropea , capperi e sentore di torlo d'uovo ....moltooo buono!
Guancia di maiale stufata che si scioglieva in bocca....altro mondo....
Ho voluto terminare con un desueto pane burro marmellata....semplice e superbo...bei tempi andati.
Vino Roero consigliato dal Maestro titolare.... Ok.
Gli altri commensali hanno assaggiato pasta agli asparagi , ombrina, agnello ..tutto ricercato e ottimo.
La filosofia vincente e' sempre quella: pochi piatti, materie prime eccellenti, cotture accurate, servizio impeccabile.
Una vera garanzia.

04/05/2025: Very negative experience and organization less than 0 and not very serious, because when you get to the final they say the finalists then someone doesn't like it so they go into the office they argue with each other they go out again and say other names as they like with little justification, then you complain! They tell you that you are making cinema when they have been making cinema, theater and everything else, not very serious

29/05/2025: It's a nice place, with a great variety of products (even vegan options suitable for lactose intolerants). The only flaw: the service mode changes depending on who is there. In addition to the owner, there are girls on the ball, others with whom you expect a lot even with a half-empty bar. It's still a good reference in Fagnano.

05/12/2024: Trenta, anzi di più, anni che ho pranzato da Rubin: quando lavoravo ed ero in zona mediamente una volta alla settimana, ultimamente una volta all'anno, verso la Commemorazione dei Defunti, poiché tanti miei Cari riposano nel Cimitero di Fagnano.
Trenta, anzi di più, anni che sono stato seduto a tavola, accudito, più che servito, dalle gentilissime signore, in ordine alfabetico, Anna, Luciana, Marisa.
In cucina, fino a qualche anno fa, c'era la mamma, ottima cuoca, che ora cucina ottimi manicaretti Lassù...
Alla cassa, e di tanto in tanto, d'aiuto anche in sala, il Titolare Antonio, che ha deciso di porre la parola fine, questo Dicembre, a tanti anni di attività, che hanno visto sempre affollato il suo ristorante.
Mi spiace moltissimo.
Voglio che il mio grazie ed i miei saluti amichevoli li raggiungano e che restino scritti in questa recensione.

19/10/2024: Very friendly staff, slightly long waiting times. Very negative note: everywhere outside there are "no smoking" signs, but both at the tables and near the entrance door, many customers smoke and no one intervenes.

Decent service. They were in a hurry, they took away the dishes even of those who still had the dishes. Too bad because the environment is nice and worth it

10/03/2025: Siamo stati qui per la festa delle donne in concomitanza con la festa di carnevale , 30 euro pizza birra e un sorbetto , vabbhè ..... , due bambine di 6 anni che pagano lo stesso prezzo , vergognoso
arrivati alle 20:10 e serviti alle 21:50 , neanche ad un matrimonio una cosa del genere , musica che sembrava non carnevale o la festa della donne ma la sagra della salsiccia , camerieri che correvano come se fossero alla maratona di New York ,pizza che sembrava la suola delle scarpe , ma c'era da aspettarselo già dalla porta d'entrata , dove devi tirare ma loro che son dei geni , con ben due scritte , ti dicono di spingere , ahahahah , nelle 30 euro neanche il caffè , strano . perchè specialmente x i meridionali il caffè è d'obbligo , anzi , generalmente a fine cena ti offrono almeno un limoncello , qui invece non vedono l'ora che paghi e te ne vai , bocciati

Cercavamo in agriturismo in zona che creasse un ambiente familiare dove sedersi e sentirsi a casa....ecco il camino in fondo alla sala crea l atmosfera!!!
Non saprei da dove partire per elencare le 5 stelle...
Antipasti da favola sia in quantità che in delizia
Primi abbondanti e di gran sapore cinghiale e capriolo al top, per non parlare delle pappardelle fatte in case, da leccarsi i baffi...
Secondi.... nn a nessuno... brasato e roast-beef no comment....
Dessert... aspetto di finirli, ma il profumo ne racconta il gusto.
Inutile parlare del personale...
Un ambiente così può solo avere FAMILIARITÀ SIMPATIA E CORTESIA

15/12/2024: Un tunnel umido e maleodorante con cucina povera servita con lentezza e scarsa organizzazione. Un pranzo con molti amici laddove ci hanno posizionati molto molto stretti in quella location di per sé già infelice. Affettati misti e un risotto mangiabile poi secondi piatti ultra semplici e poveri ma non si sente nemmeno per un istante la voglia di tornarci per carità
