The exterior, while charming for its ancient structure, is somewhat neglected, but the initial impression is rustic, in true Bavarian style. At the entrance, a wall with niches containing personal mugs is striking: the manager explained to us that they belong to the most loyal customers. A curious and characteristic detail. The interior is spartan, with uncomfortable chairs and somewhat small tables, but these aspects are quickly forgotten when the food arrives: the Bavarian cuisine is truly excellent. We tried several dishes, and the pork shank with potatoes was memorable. The strudel to finish was also delicious. The prices aren't among the lowest, but the quality justifies the expense. The service is courteous and attentive, and the wait times are well-balanced. Reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. A place to try if you love Bavarian cuisine in a rustic and timeless setting.

We sat on the terrace for a simple beer, but were captivated by the menu and ended up enjoying some excellent and hearty Teutonic dishes, accompanied by the friendly staff.
