What a shame
22/09/2025: Valtellina cuisine isn't suited to Mediterranean stomachs. The venison was well-cooked, the wine drinkable, the service friendly, and the pine forest all around. Aurelio, the innkeeper, even lent us the key to Don Guanella's house, now a museum, so we could visit. Very kind people, a wonderful experience. It's a shame it will all be over in a few days...

03/06/2026: When some friends recommended this restaurant, we found our new favorite pizza. They offer a wide selection of pizzas, both regular and gourmet, with delicious, fresh, and local ingredients. In addition to the pizzas, the menu of traditional dishes is also top-notch! All this combined with a beautiful and well-kept restaurant with an intimate and welcoming atmosphere! (If you go, try the French fries; they are AMAZING!) I WOULD GIVE EVEN MORE THAN 5 STARS, BUT THIS IS THE BEST! CONGRATULATIONS
11/05/2026: I stopped by with a group of friends at 2:30 PM, and they didn't hesitate to serve us delicious food in a short time!

03/05/2026: A hidden gem! We stopped by for dinner since it was within walking distance, and the food was fantastic. The cold cuts, cheese, and local wine were delicious. Roberto is a brilliant host and DJ who really knows how to set the mood. Don't miss his homemade herbal tea—it’s the perfect nightcap. The mountain views are the cherry on top!
01/02/2026: It's not a place, it's an experience. Just opening the door and hearing the sound, you know this isn't your average bar. Ask to use the bathroom and you'll find the walls plastered with jokes and proverbs in the form of pictures. The sandwiches are delicious and filling. Then, if you ask Roberto for one of his grappas or herbal teas, a whole new world opens up to you.
A must-visit if you're in the area and want to take a quick break or spend an evening in front of the fireplace.

14/07/2026: It's a very nice place. For two summers, my partner and I stayed at the campsite, staying in a truly unique wood-paneled room with a window overlooking the mountains. The place is charming and quiet, popular with tourists and mountain lovers. The manager, Damian, and his father before him, is a very nice guy, always looking for activities to entertain his guests. The bar and restaurant are always open...the food is amazing! Recommended for short breaks or longer stays...but don't be fooled by all the flags displayed outside...for him, there's only one flag: Argentina!!!
10/07/2026: I've always stayed in a tent, but the welcome, friendliness, and helpfulness of the people who run this campsite always leaves me speechless. We left blankets and pillows at home, and they lent them to us without batting an eyelid and without charging us anything for the "rental."

14/06/2026: The service was a bit slow. Prices weren't displayed, and the appetizer was charged per person, almost €20 per person. They also made a mistake and charged us for an extra bottle of water, but they pretended not to notice.
22/05/2026: Excellent food and a quaint atmosphere. The staff is very friendly! A warm place that makes you feel good. Unbeatable value for money. Go there!

05/04/2026: The restaurant is well-kept and comfortable, offering excellent cuisine ranging from a wide variety of pizzas to traditional dishes and delicious grilled meats! All this is topped off by the wonderful owner, Gerry, who always makes you feel welcome and at home! I highly recommend it!

17/08/2025: Nice place to grab a drink. On busy days, the service isn't great. With almost all the tables full, the service was nonexistent; we found a table by ourselves, went to the bar to get drinks, and the table we were sitting at wasn't cleaned.
13/08/2025: Returned after about 3 years for a family breakfast. Much improved. Congratulations!

13/08/2025: We found it by chance for a lunch break during a motorcycle tour in the Alps.
And we stumbled upon a cozy bar where simplicity still combines with authenticity and quality...we had a sandwich, but one of those tasty and rich ones.
Just what you look for when you need a bite to eat between hairpin bends.
The food and service at the counter are spectacular.
Highly recommended.
