21/09/2025: A day out with a visit to Zavatarello Castle and a walk in the woods.
We decided to stop for something to eat, and around 1:30 PM we stopped at the restaurant.
It was late for lunch, so we opted for an aperitivo.
There was a very long wait for our table to be cleared so we could order.
The blackboard listed: pizzas, focaccias, toasted sandwiches, and platters...
Then we were told they were busy, so there was nothing to eat.
No pizzas, no focaccias, no toasted sandwiches... just the platter. We ordered two Spritzes, two lemon sodas, and a platter... The final surprise?
For two Spritzes, two lemon sodas, and a platter, we paid €50, because the platter was labeled "Tasting of Oltrepò Products"!!! At the "modest" price of €30!!!
In any restaurant, a platter will cost you €15, €18, or €20 at most!!! It was a real bum joke, not an aperitif!
Oh, and the price of the "tasting" wasn't listed anywhere!
And then again, the word "tasting" usually means lunch or dinner, perhaps accompanied by good wine. An aperitif with a tasting is simply RIDICULOUS!

Non bisogna avere fretta (grazie al cielo) si possono prendere i propri tempi
01/06/2025: Trovato per caso dopo la visita del castello. È un locale alla buona dove si mangia un menù fisso. Agriturismo perciò fatto tutto da loro. Una vera sorpresa. Il gestore molto molto cordiale. Il cibo ottimo!!! I primi, risotto e gnocchi cotti benissimo. La carne si scioglieva in bocca. Ci hanno offerto alla fine un liquore fatto da loro e abbiamo concluso in bellezza il pranzo. Se proprio devo trovare un difetto, un po’ lunghi i tempi di attesa ma in fondo era domenica e ci siamo rilassati chiacchierando e aspettando.

Salumi formaggio costine con la verza ravioli e dolce crostata fatta in casa. Prezzo assolutamente ottimo

26/04/2025: Arrivati a locale pieno e tardi per un pranzo, avevamo bisogno di mangiare uno spuntino pane e salame. La titolare ci ha dapprima detto di non avere più pane e salumi, poi che avrebbe fatto un resoconto con la cucina, infine di rimanere. Non voleva mandarci via senza mangiare e abbiamo ottenuto pane, coppa, salame felino, acqua e un buon bicchiere di vino rosso. Prima di andarcene ci ha fatto visitare la terrazza che da sul castello e l'orto. Ci siamo sentiti come a casa. Torneremo per provare il menù alla carta sulla terrazza.

Locale che divide la parte informale al ristorante intimo e curato anche dal punto di vista musicale.
Ottimi piatti sia locali che rivisitati
