04/07/2025: Thanks to a friend I discovered the Regina di Cuggiono pizzeria, incredibly good pizzas with top quality ingredients. Try it to believe it! Plus the ordering system is super smart and with two clicks you can add/remove ingredients and change the size of the pizzas! In short, if you are looking for a good reason not to try it, it doesn't exist!
02/07/2025: Everything was perfect! The pizza was really good. The staff was very kind and welcoming, both the waitress and the pizza chef. We will definitely be back!

03/08/2025: I go back roughly once a year, and this place never changes. The prices don't change, they're absolutely reasonable and lower than many more popular places. The quality of the food doesn't change; some dishes are truly delicious, and the portions are quite generous. Nor does the chaos in the place change, due to the rather cramped space and the constant rush of waiters. The place is always very crowded, and the wait for your food is often quite long. But if you're not in a hurry and don't mind the noise, stopping by to try the baked pasta is a must. I'll definitely be back.

The service could be a bit better, but we were satisfied. The price is very reasonable. At least 3 euros for a grappa is phenomenal.

16/08/2025: We had dinner for 4 people, the food was good but in my opinion a little too expensive. 2 small plates of cured meats and 1 of cheese, I assure you small plates, 3 grilled dishes with 3 sausages, 3 steaks and 6 ribs, 1 litre of wine on tap, 2 waters and 4 mini side dishes, 3 sorbets. For the modification, the price of €190 seems really a lot to me, also because the dishes were really small. Honestly, I don't want to go back.

24/08/2025: A friend and I went to the restaurant around 7:30 PM for dinner. There was an "OPEN" sign in front of the restaurant, but the front door was closed. So I rang the bell to ask if they were open, and a woman answered, "Yes, we're open. I'll be there to open." We waited 10 minutes, but no one ever came to open the door. I rang the bell again, and no one answered. Meanwhile, we saw the woman hiding in the bushes at the back, and after a quick look, she came back inside. I was really disappointed by the poor manners and lack of welcome.
05/08/2025: Excellent food, simple but authentic and high-quality.
The location on the Ticino River is beautiful, perfect for a lovely stroll after lunch or dinner.

BUT BE CAREFUL WITH THE BILL
Let me explain my review
Five menus for €15 (including a first course, second course, side dish)
Four of us ordered only the second course and side dish
Added a second course and side dish (side dishes that were truly unpresentable in terms of quantity)
It's not our choice to order only the second course...ok, it's fine
I'll add a second course, counting it as a full menu...that brings it to €90
Then the rest listed below cost €142
A mixed platter for two
3 desserts
2 liters of house wine (in a carafe, mind you)
2 waters and 4 coffees, which are usually on the menu anyway...let's leave them out
Total for the lavish lunch
€46 and change each
Now you do the math
Look elsewhere, it's better.

23/07/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant. The location is very pretty, overlooking the lake. The staff are very kind and helpful. The only flaw, but alas, it's a fundamental one: the food. It wasn't love at first sight for the dishes we chose; they were all seafood-based, but the quality didn't convince me. The shrimp popcorn was so heavy that after just a few pieces, I was already full. Each dish was accompanied by a bed of plain salad. The seared tuna, which when fresh is red, was more pink and tasteless. I'm so sorry, but it didn't win me over. The prices, for the quality of the products, are too high and don't justify what they serve.

28/12/2024: Per non spadellare almeno per Santo Stefano andiamo a pranzo da Matteo e Daniela. Prima volta con un menù fisso ma i cavalli di battaglia per fortuna non sono mancati (il mitico tagliere di salumi e formaggi). Come al solito servizio cortese, alla mano ed efficiente, cibo con ingredienti di qualità, buon vino e ci si sente sempre come di casa. Il locale poi nella sua semplicità è piacevole ed accogliente. Per smaltire avete il naviglio a breve distanza a piedi che è sempre una bella cosa da vedere.

28/05/2025: Para todos los viajeros reales de Trip Advisor, no pierdas tiempo mirando las otras reseñas, definitivamente no hacen justicia a esta increíble experiencia.
La experiencia en general fue maravillosa marcando todas las cajas perfectamente.
Hermosa ubicación, un montón de aparcamiento dentro de la propiedad, incluso para caravanas, comida italiana verdaderamente tradicional, súper fresca y sabrosa, personal / familia muy feliz y acogedor, sin duda hacen un kilómetro adicional para asegurarse de que todo era perfecto, sin las prisas milanesas habituales para comer, ya que terminé quedándome por más de 5 horas, tomando café, comiendo y bebiendo.
Internet gratis súper rápido, precios increíbles. ¡No podría decir una cosa mala sobre este lugar! ¡Las otras críticas no son ciertas en absoluto!
Así que si estás por aquí, ve a almorzar, cenar o tomar algo agradable, tranquilo y delicioso con tranquilidad y disfruta del llamado “dolce vita” junto al río.
11/05/2025: Ringrazio i gestori ed il personale per l’ottimo pranzo ‘festa della mamma’ in famiglia. Eravamo 16 adulti tutti adulti. Portate abbondanti e molto buone. Tutto perfetto.
