21/02/2025: I have been frequenting this wonderful restaurant for 27 years. I have witnessed a few management changes, and I must say that the current one is as it should be! At lunch there is a fixed menu, with dishes that other restaurants only dream of! Even in the evening the dishes are extraordinary. In summer, it is a pleasure to eat outside, on the banks of my beautiful Naviglio dell'Alzaia

06/10/2024: Restaurant run by mother and daughter with excellent homemade cuisine. Worth trying both for the cuisine but also for the wonderful view of the Ticino. I particularly recommend the agnolotti with Chianina ragout and the dessert Milaneghina.

05/10/2024: Restaurant immersed in the Ticino park, truly enviable location, wonderful view of the river and the fauna, in particular the veranda overlooking the river is beautiful but also from inside the windows you can see a splendid landscape. The food is good, homemade, few choices but they vary, and the prices are excellent (first courses 10-12 euros, second courses 10-16 euros if I remember correctly). Absolutely worth trying is the Milanese dessert, a typical dessert consisting of a slice of raisin panettone heated on the griddle, with orange cream, ice cream and grand marnier. From what I understand, the place is managed by only two ladies, Bruno's wife and his daughter, and they really do their best to please the guests and manage the whole structure which is enormous as best as possible. Precisely for this reason the service can be a little slow, but since there are only two of us it would be difficult to do the opposite! the idea is that one goes to relax and enjoy the place and the atmosphere, not to have lunch in a hurry as if it were a working lunch. I don't really fully understand the negative reviews, because you can't judge this place with the standards of a starred restaurant but you have to contextualize it for what it is. We had a great time for a birthday and the ladies are very kind.

23/02/2025: Birthday dinner with a reserved room with ample space which we used for dancing having privately paid a DJ for the music (and thank goodness because thanks to him we had a lot of fun!) The food is a separate matter: a truly disappointing aperitif, two trays with pieces of pizza stuck to the tray and pieces of gnecchi focaccia with 2 bottles of prosecco for 22 people!! Dinner served on a tray by a single waiter (poor guy was running around all evening!) consisting of an appetizer (3 slices each of three types of cured meats and that's it) 3 types of cheeses of negligible quantity, one of which was described on the menu as having honey (not received) omelette and canapé with gorgonzola and walnuts (this one was good!) 2 first courses: A risotto (good) and orecchiette with vegetables (bah!) Second course: dry pork fillet (the sauce not received) with potatoes. Birthday cake. White and red bulk wine (bulk wine quality) On the menu, for those who didn't drink wine, it said Coca cola Zero and, after requesting it several times, we managed to have 1 can! Coffee and bitters. I know how much was spent each and it doesn't exist!!! Only if the space and music had been included in the price per person... but maybe not even.....!!

26/01/2025: A winter Sunday for lunch. Cozy and nice warm place Excellent food, fresh, quality and plentiful. Friendly and pleasant staff. We had a really good time. Highly recommended
