04/02/2025: Just today at midday we stopped for a quick lunch, we ate excellent tasty and light tripe. This was served as the only abundant and tasty dish. The work menu is always varied and often features traditional Milanese dishes. To be taken into consideration if you pass by.

20/12/2024: Cena con parenti ieri sera. Siamo in otto prenotati da tempo. Locale pieno com’è logico sia prima di Natale. Tavolo vicino alla cucina con la porta versò l’esterno che continua ad aprirsi e a far entrare aria gelida su tutta la tavolata: al freddo non si mangia bene in generale! Le signore si sono coperte con lo scialle! D’altronde se il personale esce a fumare e tiene la porta aperta….. Servizio scarso. Sbagliano il vino e poi lo cambiano. Ordiniamo il contorno di verdura ( due nel menù ) e poi ci dicono che la verdura è finita perché il fornitore non l’ha consegnata!! Capisco può accadere però in genere nei ristoranti com’è all’inizio si elenca l extra menù si avvisa il cliente anche di ciò che in menù non c’è. Il cameriere cerca di rimediare dicendo che come verdura hanno le patate (poche idee e ben confuse). Io fossi stato il proprietario sarei andato alla Esselunga distante 800 metri a prendere un paio di buste nel pomeriggio ma ovviamente questo sarebbe stato una cortesia verso i clienti che probabilmente non rientra negli standard di questo locale. Come si mangia? Beh non certo bene. I piatti non sono un granché. Aglio a gogo, carne duretta, bollito misto ma misto male ( grassissimo e carne tipo carretto per capirci) orecchia di elefante sottile ma del burro neanche l’ombra. L’unica cosa decente il dolce ( forse non li fanno loro). Prezzo non alto ma francamente preferirei spendere qualche euro in più e mangiare meglio. Visto che nei dintorni ci sono altre trattorie che fanno cucina milanese ( meglio ovviamente) non ci tornerò più. Grappa finale chiesta bianca è arrivata ovviamente diversa. Ma oramai avevamo solo voglia di andarcene Buon natale lo stesso.

03/12/2024: Dopo una visita alla splendida Villa Arconati, a pochi passi abbiamo trovato questa osteria, oltre ad un buon antipasto, abbiamo gustato il risotto alla milanese con gli ossibuchi: una delizia che si scioglie in bocca
