18/08/2026: Went today after a boat trip. Very kind staff, first of all. Really nice location. We had a really good lunch. We had the marinated sturgeon, bigoi in salsa, and cod Mantova-style. I don't know which of the three was better. (Being intolerant, I couldn't have the pumpkin tortelli.) Really, congratulations. And I hope to return. Fair price. Ps. The sbrisolona was also excellent.

17/08/2026: Stroll through the square for the Madonnari, visit the Basilica, and lunch at the inn. It was a perfect day. The service was friendly and the food excellent, all at a fair price. Pumpkin tortelli, tagliatelle with duck, and risotto alla pilota were all better than the last. The cotechino was special, and the desserts included sbrisolona with zabaglione, chocolate salami, and, above all, the millefeuille, a perfect way to end the meal.

13/04/2026: A friend took us to a pizzeria nestled in a cozy spot between single-family homes. The atmosphere was very pleasant, friendly, and football-themed. We ordered a pint of Coke and a pizza, a Capriccioli, four quatros fromaggi, and a Prussius. The pizzas were fantastic, and the service was friendly and pleasant. The bill for the pizza and Coke was 10 euros.

28/03/2026: I stayed at La Cascina last night and I must say it was a truly positive experience. The first thing that struck me upon arrival was the entrance, surrounded by beautiful greenery that immediately conveyed a sense of tranquility. After a long journey, I also greatly appreciated the convenience of the parking: I was able to leave my car right in front of the building without any problems. The rooms were spotless and the bed was truly comfortable, perfect for relaxing and recharging my batteries. The location is also strategic: shopping centers, supermarkets, and fast food outlets are nearby, making everything very convenient. A big plus goes to the host, Marise, for her professionalism, helpfulness, and flexibility. I really appreciated the fact that she allowed me to use the restrooms even after checking out, a gesture that is not at all expected. The value for money is also excellent: for what I paid, it was truly money well invested. The kitchen is well-equipped, and the property as a whole is welcoming, quiet, and elegant. A special thanks also to the cleaning ladies, who are truly meticulous and attentive: you can tell when the job is done with care and a smile. If I were to return to this area, I'd already know where to stay. It was an experience that allowed me to completely relax and recharge. Thanks again for your hospitality! 😃

14/03/2026: A farmhouse surrounded by greenery just outside Mantua. Basic amenities make for a comfortable stay. The room is clean and tidy, and guests can prepare their own breakfast using ingredients available in the shared kitchen (which can also be used for lunch/dinner).
