02/12/2024: Small restaurant with a few tables in a remote village near Varenna. Extremely limited menu, but of very high quality. Perfect for a slow food experience, of almost starred quality, with overall reasonable prices. Reservation required. Highly recommended PS: the only dish that I didn't appreciate was the hot chocolate cake, good, but not special

26/01/2025: What can I say... there aren't even crumbs of the old Crott del Meo (from 2 years ago)... they changed management I think twice in 6 months. Last summer (2024) there were already new managers. They renovated the room with good taste, and I ate well (not like before years ago though, but good). They were a little disorganized but kind, and I know they changed chefs in a short time. The problem appeared during the winter... all new people, I think the management has changed again. It was cold inside even though the pellet stove was running, but at times the cold air came in, you can tell because they left some doors open. The pizzocheri were a mess, everything seemed to be blended and with a lot of pepper... they were not good... and too expensive for the quantity and quality served. The scatts were good but 8 small ones for €15 🤯.. the service was kind but decadent... it wasn't up to par at those prices... he couldn't explain the dishes he brought, he was told every time in the kitchen "these people want this thing..." at the cash desk the boy wasn't able to do the math... I think they're just not suited to continue with that activity... what happened?

07/01/2025: Truly a pleasant discovery for a dinner for two We knew it by name and finally went there: excellent food (typical of the area with no frills), family atmosphere and attentive service. Highly recommended

27/01/2025: The location is beautiful and the view is amazing. You get a lot of aperitif before your course. The menu is quite good and extensive. The staff is also very nice and friendly. The food is okey, it looks very beautiful and they know how to do make it, but it is not our taste. It is very expensive for what you get, you can get things local for way less and the same quality.

The service is exceptional, with a staff that is not only incredibly attentive but also genuinely kind and friendly. We enjoyed several dinners in August here, including a birthday celebration, and loved every single moment. A huge thank you to the amazing staff for making every experience so special—you truly made our visit unforgettable. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting Varenna!
