Curato l’ambiente e personale attento e disponibile.
Buona la cucina e prezzi nella media.
L’ambiente è solo un po’ piccolino e se arrivano compagnie rumorose non si riesce più a parlare.
12/11/2024: Questo posto è perfetto per un pranzo veloce essendo vicino al sentiero del viandante, o come facciamo noi per una cena speciale di alta qualità. Il locale è piccolo, pochi posti a sedere per un 'atmosfera tranquilla e intima. La cucina è ottima: il menu non ha moltissime proposte e questo ne fa un punto a favore in quanto è tutto preparato estremamente con cura. Qualità ottima e belle presentazioni.
Il prezzo per quanto offerto è giusto, si paga la qualità dei prodotti.
Assolutamente consigliato!
P.s. non vedo l'ora ti tornare.

18/08/2024: Succulent pizzas. Sublime tiramisu...exceptional value for money...a very good address. A detail but dogs are accepted.
15/08/2024: Très bonne adresse pour manger une pizza, certainement la meilleure pizzeria du coin, je vous conseil le tiramisu en dessert.
Certe le décor est un peu rustique, mais les pizzas sont succulentes.

23/08/2024: Very disappointing experience, plastic tables and chairs, white lights that were so strong it was hard to see any view, we would’ve turned away but we did want to try the food seeing the good reviews but it was just another disappointment.. the service was pretty nice, I would maybe go there for a drink in day time

Attentive, friendly staff served each beautifully presented course with a smile and kind attitude. The owner and chef are also to be commended for their professionalism and skill at overseeing the very highest degree of dining pleasure. Highly, highly recommended!
24/08/2024: High level proposal, you eat on a covered veranda with lake view (truly priceless), excellent and precise service, waiters always with a smile and dishes explained exhaustively at the table with regards to techniques and raw materials used, dishes designed with combinations of innovative ingredients and high quality raw materials, we will definitely be back, congratulations!

07/11/2024: In the center of Mandello and with a lake view, Mamma Ciccia offers spacious, clean and well-furnished rooms. The attached restaurant is absolutely worth trying... excellently prepared and prepared dishes in a charming and welcoming environment. Staff of rare kindness and prices absolutely average for the service offered. 100% recommended!
25/10/2024: Excellent quality/price ratio, comfortable rooms, excellent restaurant, good breakfast. In the historic center, splendid location and the widespread structure is not a problem. Very friendly service.

(Advice: I would renovate the bathroom, it is definitely not up to the standard of the structure)
10/11/2024: The location couldn't be better. Spectacular views from the room and perfect atmosphere within the hotel. Very friendly staff. Perfect breakfast and delicious food.
The only fault I can say are the pillows and the mattress, which were very hard.
If we returned to the area, we would definitely repeat.

02/11/2024: Good food with a nice appearance but a little too salty, as was the bill... renovated place and service without anything to complain about but I honestly preferred the previous management: even if more "spartan" but it offered traditional local home-made food and the price was adequate. 2 appetizers, 1 first course (good but salty!!) 1 second course of fish (excellent) 1 water and 1 coffee (without drinking wine and without dessert) Total 86.00 euros. Definitely overpriced. Perhaps it would have been better to keep prices lower while continuing to offer genuine dishes from the Como tradition.

20/05/2024: Small refuge among the Grigne peaks. Very beautiful panorama of the Sasso Cavallo, the Sasso dei Carbonari, and the Val Meria up to the lake. The path to get there from Rongio (Mandello) is always clear, but with a good slope for a long stretch. 02/05/2024: Everything you expect from a refuge experience
I stayed at the Elisa on a Saturday in early April, the manager (Elena) was very kind and even though I had given her a few hours' notice she didn't let me miss anything. I recommend that you always give notice in advance of any desire to stay overnight in the refuge, to allow the manager to organize the supplies (here the supplies are transported by helicopter or carried on the shoulders).
The shelter is well looked after, the dormitory clean, the food excellent as are the people I found.

We left the chef free to choose with the 8-course menu, the result: great quality, variety and attention to detail. Obviously also super full.

25/11/2023: Sicuramente la cucina è degna di nota…alcuni piatti emergono su altri ma nessuno negativo…il servizio è cordiale e accorto…la maîtresse è sola e si deve occupare sia del consiglio del vino, che dell’accoglienza, che del servizio e spiegazioni piatti in sala. Il mio modesto consiglio da esperto del settore è di inserire una persona esperta di vino che possa aiutare la maîtresse durante la serata soprattutto quando il ristorante è pieno, visto la qualità e le aspettative richieste. Carta vino sicuramente da rivedere perché non in linea con la qualità del locale e della cucina. Chi ama il vino come me si aspetta in questa tipologia di ristoranti gourmet di ritrovare etichette ricercate e anche qualche vecchia annata e non solo poche bottiglie e commerciali. Aiuterebbe la voglia di ritornarci. Lascio comunque 5 stelle perché la serata è stata molto gradevole e non mi piace denigrare chi si impegna nel nostro settore.

I recently went to Bar Roma and absolutely loved it! The food was incredibly delicious. I was particularly impressed by the salad – super fresh and tasted great. The paninis were an absolute dream, perfectly prepared and topped with high quality ingredients. If you're looking for authentic, delicious food, you should definitely pay a visit to Bar Roma. Clear recommendation!
08/08/2024: I can't rate the food, but what I saw looked delicious.
We were there that evening for a nightcap. If you like craft beers, this is a great place for you. There is a large selection available, open, bottle or can.
The only thing that was annoying was that some of it was no longer available, but that's understandable with craft beer from Belgium because it's definitely not easy to get something like that to Italy.
Service was great and we quickly got a table without a reservation
