23/11/2025: A delightful discovery. I was in Mandello for a visit to relatives, looking for somewhere to have lunch, and without a reservation (Sunday lunchtime), they sat me at a comfortable table near the counter. The dishes are few, but truly well-made, featuring local flavors (Minsoltini, Persico, Lavarello, etc.), but with a contemporary twist. The portions are fairly generous, the wine list is decent (it's an Osteria, after all), and the service is fast and always smiling, despite the restaurant being full. My compliments!

23/11/2025: A fantastic experience from beginning to end. The accommodation was welcoming, clean, and with every detail meticulously attended to. Ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The restaurant was spectacular: delicious dishes, high-quality ingredients, and excellent service. A place we will definitely return to. Highly recommended!

09/11/2025: The Guzzi Burger is no joke. Like its inspiration, there’s a lot under the hood — 200 grams of Italian beef, egg, stacked with tomatoes and lettuce. Its stature was so grand I needed a strategy to tackle it. If you’re missing home, highly recommended.

11/10/2025: Had lunch today with my mom. The setting was absolutely delightful, with a priceless view. It was practically a terrace overlooking the lake. Even though we were nearing the end of lunch, we were seated anyway. We both ordered a typical lake dish: risotto with perch. The maître d' described the dish, announcing that it was a traditional dish revisited by the chef. It was essentially creamed with 36-month-aged Grana Padano cheese, which provided just the right amount of saltiness. There were four perch fillets (a couple more would have been nice), the inevitable sage leaf (just a small note: I prefer it breaded and crispy), and a butter emulsion on top. There was also a touch of lemon, which, for my taste, was perhaps too much. It was certainly a good dish, but perhaps I had prepared my palate for the traditional inn risotto. Regardless, we enjoyed it, and we appreciated the maître d'' listening to what I wrote when he came to check on our enjoyment of the dish. I ended the meal with an elaborate and beautifully presented dessert. The wait staff was very, very professional. Prices were average considering it was a gourmet restaurant. If I may, I'd pair the elaborate dishes with something traditional from the lake, leaving the choice to the customer. The owner was friendly. I recommend the restaurant for what was described.

24/11/2025: Excellent Sicilian restaurant with dine-in service. Truly tasty and carefully prepared dishes. The staff is extremely friendly and makes you feel right at home. Highly recommended!

22/11/2025: Super!!!!!! Lilly takes you on a trip to Sicily!! Excellent food! Highly recommended, even for dinner with friends if you book a day in advance.

08/10/2025: We had a lovely stay in early September to attend a wedding nearby. Wonderful location, attentive staff, and the food was great too! Lake Como is truly beautiful and this small Inn is a great choice for accommodations.

05/09/2025: Great location in the heart of town; we found a free parking space in the public parking lot despite it being a holiday. The room was clean, the bathroom a bit small, but adequate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only the breakfast was meager for our taste. Otherwise, a really cute little place to stay.

23/10/2025: The new owners are really friendly and professional. The food is very good (plus very good French wines) with affordable prices. Great atmosphere. I highly recommend it.

12/10/2025: More than positive. The first courses were plentiful, tasty, and varied. The meat was excellent. I had a medium-rare beef steak, and it was truly flavorful and tender. My friend also had a medium-rare beef steak, but she specifically requested it well done, and even though it was well done, the meat was still tender. My husband's wild boar with polenta was very tasty and plentiful. The wine list was excellent. The service was prompt, and the waiters were kind and available to answer any questions. Overall, we were completely satisfied. We will definitely be back. Thanks also to the kindness of Mirko and Silvia, both very knowledgeable and professional.

04/10/2025: We were "washed in" here for lunch. Pure Italy. Just one menu with three options. Delicious and unbeatably cheap. Always full at lunch. Terrace currently closed.
