27/03/2024: The restaurant immediately makes a good impression, it is neat, nice and atmospheric. The main theme of the decor is books, it is something new and the idea itself is good. As for the service, we were served by a nice and helpful waitress (she gave us excellent wine advice). The appetizers are very interesting and varied in taste. I had duck as my main course and I can honestly recommend it. Desserts simple but tasty. Prices adequate to quality, I recommend.

19/03/2024: I was there for Valentine's Day dinner. What I liked was that there was both the possibility of ordering what you wanted or the Valentine's Day menu. I took the menu and I must say that the quantity/price ratio was excellent. All very good. Friendly staff and place. Also very good for pizzas…

05/05/2024: Travel back in time with great food We were lucky that the trattoria was directly opposite the house where we stayed for a week. It made sense that we would stop there for dinner. Service: The lady in service was very friendly and took care of our well-being. The interaction with the children was also friendly but reserved. Very pleasant demeanor. Our 1-2 comprehension questions about food were answered patiently. The various dishes arrived in a timely manner and were obviously freshly prepared from the kitchen. - 5/5 Eat: Both my first course (ravioli with meat filling) and second course (beef slices) were really great. The sauce with the ravioli was amazing and I couldn't help but eat the rest with bread. The medium beef slices were fried to perfection and turned out incredibly well with just a few ingredients (oil and pepper). I was happy afterwards. - 5/5 Price-performance ratio: The prices for the dishes are slightly below average for the Lecco area. Given the quality on offer, it's definitely worth a visit in terms of price. - 5/5 Conclusion: Depending on where you are in Lecco, the restaurant is not necessarily close to the center. I can still only recommend everyone to do the route. Not only do you get great food at the “Trattoria Canto Giovanella”, but you can still breathe history in the building. The interior design looks like you have embarked on a little journey through time when you enter the building. Full points! - 5/5

18/03/2024: Ho soggiornato per una notte all'Hotel Nicolini e cenato presso il ristorante. Per quanto riguarda il soggiorno, da segnalare l'eccellente livello di pulizia, l'ampiezza della stanza, la comodità del letto e la qualità del sonno grazie alla posizione e all'ottima insonorizzazione della camera. All'arrivo, l'ospite trova la porta della stanza completamente aperta, in segno di accoglienza, ma non tutti magari gradiscono. Colazione in linea con un tre stelle, con prodotti di ottima qualità. Personale disponibile. Per quanto riguarda il ristorante, menù che spazia tra carne e pesce, buona materia prima, carta dei vini ricca di opzioni tutte di ottima qualità, servizio rapido e cortese. Ottimo il pane, i grissini e i dolci fatti in casa. Prezzi della carta non per tutti, anche se come ospite dell'hotel ho apprezzato uno sconto inaspettato. Posateria con forchette un poco sbilanciate nel peso e di difficile maneggio in ausilio al taglio.

06/04/2024: This nice restaurant is located in the woods but offered many parkings. We went in for late lunch. A friendly young lady greeted us and we were seated quickly by another gentleman. There was no lunch menu. He told us the options we could have for first and second courses. To try different things I ordered salmon with cream pasta and my husband arrabbiata; for second course sausage & potatoes salad and raw meat and rocket, parmigiano salad. The delicious pastas came quickly with the steam and the house red wine was very good. We waited not long for the second course, and were not disappointed: sausage and the potatoes salad is good combination; and the meat with salad is really fresh and good quality! After that we were offered pudding and cake as dessert then followed by coffee and 3 kinds of after meal liquor- all tasty. The staffs were very polite and friendly, service is very quick. Best of all, with the 3 courses meal with good wine we had, we only paid €30! What a pleasant surprise, we would recommend anyone to come for a nice meal here.

21/01/2024: Pure mio padre è rimasto contento, miracolo! Antipasto favoloso aparte, se vuoi mangiare egregiamente, trovare gente simpatica e cordiale, avere un panorama sul lago mozzafiato, spendere in maniera adeguata, sei nel posto giusto! Non delude mai la Brenta ❤️
