25/11/2025: We stopped for dinner at this place simply because it was on our route. We walked in and our first impression was of a cold, impersonal atmosphere, but we later changed our minds. We ate two pizzas, which we thought were really good and at a fair price. We recommend it.

25/11/2025: An unpretentious trattoria, tucked away in a small country village, serving decent-quality food, mostly homemade. The place is unassuming, modest in size, with limited parking on the adjacent street, and generally not very busy. The wait for food is extremely long, even when there are few or no customers. The wine is served in pre-opened bottles, leaving one suspecting it may have been decanted, and bread is only served when the main courses arrive (even upon request, the owner refuses to bring bread unless other dishes are ordered). The list prices are disproportionate for the location (€5 cover charge, €8 fries, etc.): normally, such prices are only found in upscale restaurants, which this place is definitely not. The portions are also small for the listed price. In particular, a commercial practice is applied to prices that, in my opinion, is underhanded and prohibited by the Consumer Code: all list prices are artificially inflated, and then a constant 50% discount is applied, bringing the prices back to near-normal levels, to falsely suggest a significant discount. This practice also completely penalizes TheFork customers, of which the restaurant is a member, who are lured in with misleading advertising and fictitious 50% discounts (on doubled list prices), but instead end up paying exactly the same as regular customers. Furthermore, the TheFork Yums, which the restaurant accepts, are nullified by the doubling of prices (the owner, in fact, does not apply the 50% discount on inflated list prices). I believe the restaurant survives precisely because of the "long tail" of TheFork customers who come, one time only, attracted by discounts that turn out to be fake on the spot. These unfair and opaque practices lead me to stay away from that establishment and discourage everyone from visiting. The receipt is either not issued or, if explicitly requested, is not self-explanatory but only shows the total, making it impossible to verify the consistency of the purchase and any discounts applied. We left the establishment with the strong feeling of having been duped and certainly with a bill far higher than is consistent with this type of restaurant, given its location, service, and food. A poor choice.

23/11/2025: Great experience, booked 1 hour in advance, returning to Milan from Bologna. The place is like an old tavern, the food is very good, with various specialties, excellent cold cuts and fried gnocco, the agnolotti are also good, the torta Bertolina is very good, and the wine cellar is extensive. Everything is very good, and what can I say about the owner...very welcoming and super kind? The prices are also very reasonable.
