19/06/2025: Restaurant with very good home cooking, friendly staff and good service

18/06/2025: I frequent the establishment for the restaurant, a room that has a beautiful view of the valley. Simple furnishings, local food and menus with normal portions. Friendly, smiling staff willing to exchange a few words between courses. Good quality price.

18/08/2025: Welcoming atmosphere with panoramic views of the mountains, food could be improved, overcooked pizzoccheri, rice with red wine with a hint of sourness (because they didn't let the wine curdle), nothing to say about the desserts (apple strudel and saffron panna cotta) which were really good.

04/08/2025: Beautiful location and friendly staff. The main course was a bit disappointing this time. Last time, the food was better. The prawns weren't cleaned (the intestines hadn't been removed) and were grilled a bit dry. The fritto misto had shrimp covered in batter and fried, shell and all. The women serving food looked well-groomed, but the young man looked disheveled. Too bad, I hope they address it, because they could do better.

14/08/2025: After a long hike towards the stone flower, we had lunch at this charming cabin. We arrived hungry, so we decided to order: an appetizer, two tagliatelle with mushrooms, two polenta uncia (a kind of polenta), one braised meat, and one sausage, complete with dessert. The whole thing cost us €120. The tagliatelle were excellent, as was the polenta uncia and everything else. The characteristic cheese flavor of the polenta was noticeable, and the soufflé was overflowing with delicious chocolate cream. There was plenty of seating to choose from; the tables were fairly long and in the shade. The waitress who served us was quick and kind, and made sure we wanted for nothing. An absolute must-try experience.

17/07/2025: Everything was delicious, exquisite cheeses, and the risotto with Taleggio cheese and berries was excellent. The cabin is located in a scenic spot; we stopped after a wonderful hike.

04/01/2025: Having entered a place with terrifying environments worthy of the worst post-Soviet realism with hygiene that defies Nas and a display case of pastries with some "Luisona" now at retirement age, my wife and I, a native of the area and linked to ancestral memories, order two chocolates with cream. They are served to us in a flash (from which we assume they were generated from pre-packaged sachets) and topped with a spray of horrible spray cream. Lukewarm, tasteless drinks, at the "modest" price of ten euros. I know the world of catering and commerce coming, moreover, from a seaside tourist resort in central Italy, but every time I struggle to understand how one can be so expensive, especially in Valle Intelvi, simply to "cheat" customers, without considering that in this way, at least for customers like myself, it will only be possible to do it once. Absolutely not recommended.

26/03/2025: I was a guest for four days for a relative's hospitalization at the Lanzo hospital. Very nice rooms, good dinner and friendly and very helpful staff.
