20/10/2024: Great food and service! We stayed in a hotel near to the restaurant and went there twice. We tried the lasagna, gnocchi and pizzas. Everything was amazing. The pizza with burrata was one of the best we ever had. They were also amazing with our little girl, very friendly and even brought her extra tomatoes. We also tried their house wine and enjoy it! I would definitely recommend it.

30/12/2024: I went today December 30th for lunch with my cousin. The welcome from the guys who run the tavern was truly admirable. Kindness, courtesy, professionalism and attention towards customers is their identity card! It felt like we'd known each other forever. The tavern is located in the heart of Menaggio; The internal space is not very large, but reflects the classic tavern, where conviviality reigns, combined with wooden furnishings and red checked tablecloths. Excellent and plentiful food, it did not disappoint expectations. Top general cleanliness!!! I highly recommend going there at least once, you will return. A piece of advice: book!!!!

27/11/2024: A true hidden gem in Menaggio! The food and drinks were outstanding, easily some of the best near the lake. It’s rare to find a place this good that doesn’t feel like a tourist trap. The wait staff were incredibly accommodating, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!

12/01/2025: Mientras visitábamos Menaggio en enero nos resultó bastante difícil encontrar un restaurante italiano tradicional que no fuera una trampa para turistas y una fortuna para comida básica / menos que adecuada, especialmente que estaba abierto en temporada baja. Después de pasar casi 1 hora de compras en los restaurantes abiertos, ¡no nos gustó el aspecto de ninguno! Nos encontramos con esta joya escondida en viaje asesor. Está por una calle lateral y fuera de los caminos trillados del ferry, por lo que no lo pasaría particularmente. El restaurante solo está abierto arriba en temporada baja - pico (no está cerrado!). La pasta casera es absolutamente fantástica y muy sabrosa. Definitivamente ordenar el Prosecco. Precio razonable y una puntuación increíble en las aplicaciones de vino. Uno de los mejores que he probado. El personal es tan amable (restaurante de propiedad familiar creo? ) que no se deje llevar por el interior peculiar. ¡No te decepcionarás! Éramos los únicos turistas que comían allí - los otros clientes parecían ser locales. ¡Esto dice mucho!

22/10/2024: Delightful place for lunch! We were able to sit by the windows and enjoyed the beautiful view of Lake Como as we dined. Service was welcoming, attentive, and friendly! The food was absolutely delicious!! We shared calamari, linguine with porcini mushrooms, and spaghetti with clams. Excellent!!

29/12/2024: It's a real shame that in this place some of the waiters aren't very kind, never a smile, never an apology etc. This is after coming here at least 3 times and in all 3 times within 2 years the same thing happened to me. Beautiful view because it faces the lake and in summer you eat outdoors. The food is good, it's a shame about the education of the staff who I have also seen in other reviews say the same things as me. To be reviewed

18/10/2024: We had booked 3 double rooms for 4 nights in the off-season (where there are already many other hotels). The hotel is very clean, the owners are very friendly, helpful and - since our Italian is not very good - they also helped us with the reservations for restaurants. The breakfast offers everything you need and the price-performance ratio is absolutely fine. The hotel is located directly on a busy street, which means that you should keep the windows closed at night and very early in the morning because of the street noise, but since the rooms have air conditioning units, this is not a problem even at higher temperatures . Even though there were only a few guests left in mid-October, the bar was still open in the evenings and the breakfast was varied with fresh and delicious sweet pastries (probably some homemade). We felt completely comfortable the entire time and thank you for the perfect stay.

13/10/2024: We had a wonderful stay in the Adler hotel recently and would highly recommend it. We booked last minute (on the arrival day!) and stayed for 2 nights, changing rooms after the first night. The rooms are pretty basic but comfortable, and match the pricing. We are dinner there on both nights and would highly recommend it. The food was all home-made and tasty and creative. The owner-chef is really excellent. It seems to be a family-run hotel with all family members pitching in at various points. They really seem to care about their guests and the service is excellent! Given the location (up a hill outside of Mennagio) you definitely need a car to access the hotel. It's a good base however for discovering the towns along the lake and a short boat ride to Bellagio.

23/08/2024: We had our bread and pastries from Il Fornaio for a week. Croissants, pizza margherita, focaccia, the big sourdough bread, small rolls and bigger ones… we liked them all. The staff speaks English, friendly and helpful.

08/12/2024: Troppo caro. E questo sarebbe tutto. Ma devo scrivere 100 caratteri. Quasi tutto il resto sarebbe gradevole. Cibo buono, famigliola simpatica... Ma se c'è pure il coperto da pagare e dopo un quarto di secolo del nuovo millennio non si accettano tutte le carte, American Express compresa, vuol dire che i clienti proprio non li volete. E se a pranzo eravamo solo in due, fatevi qualche domanda.

27/11/2024: Ristorante sushi alla carte dove mangiare un sushi diverso dal solito all you can eat. Qualità eccellente con prezzi adeguati a quello che mangi. Personale gentilissimo e disponibile. Ambiente piccolo ma ben tenuto.Nonostante fossimo 4 persone in tutta la sala abbiamo mangiato pesce di ottima qualità. Abbiamo speso 110 euro in due mangiando parecchio dolci compresi... sicuramente più di un all you can eat ma ne vale la pena davvero soprattutto se si considera che qui quello che mangi è 80% pesce e non riso. Consigliato.

20/11/2024: The only bar in the village of Croce near Menaggio....it has a lovely veranda perfect for enjoying their homemade ice-cream, coffee etc. The owers are a local family and are very welcoming.The bar is on the way to the "Menaggio and Cadenabbia Golf Club" which in the past was used by George Clooney. WIFI is available.

19/10/2024: The restaurant got a new chef and a new upgraded meny. Great food and service. Eat there three times on my last trip to Menaggio and the food was great, every time.

27/09/2024: Luxurious restaurant next to the hotel. The ordered dishes were served quickly enough. While waiting for the meal, a very polite waiter brought warm bread and butter. A moment later, an appetizer - delicious, delicate smoked salmon 👍 the ordered ravioli, deliciously stuffed, in a delicate thin dough, properly seasoned. However, turbot served with fried chanterelles and mashed potatoes with butter is a culinary feast. It's hard to describe it in words. DELICIOUS! 👍
