02/09/2025: I ordered fish, and it was dry, overly salty, and simply disgusting in taste — completely inedible. I brought this issue to the waiter’s attention, and he told me that this was “normal” and that the fish was supposed to taste like that. But it was so salty that it was literally impossible to eat. If for them oversalting fish is considered normal, they should warn customers in advance. Had I known, I would never have ordered it. Absolutely awful dish, café, and staff. -100 out of 10. When we asked for the bill, they tried to cheat us and charge more than what we actually owed. This is pure fraud. Be very careful — these people are scammers!

25/08/2025: We absolutely loved the Hotel Adler in Menaggio! The owners are remarkably hospitable and attentive throughout your stay. The homemade cuisine served at dinner is excellent, as is the sweet and savory buffet breakfast, which is varied and delicious. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are pleasant with comfortable beds, and the view from the pool is simply splendid over Lake Como. A little tip: remember to reserve your parking space in advance as it is small. A place I recommend without hesitation!

15/08/2025: I'm completely satisfied. The food and service were very good. I visit the restaurant regularly with my family. Highly recommended. Particularly worth mentioning: the tables are set with white cloth tablecloths and cloth napkins. Not what you'd expect in other restaurants: wrapped cutlery, paper napkins, and disposable tablecloths. Nevertheless, the price is very reasonable despite the additional costs for the restaurant owner.

13/08/2025: We received a very warm welcome from the owner. Her son in the kitchen cooked us a lasagna that we're still raving about days later. The location is top-notch.

21/08/2025: The food was delicious, the prices were good for the town, the portions were generous, and the service was excellent! I would go back!

20/08/2025: The service is quite slow even though the waiters are friendly and welcoming. For my part, the beef tagliatelle was not good, overcooked, underseasoned. The dessert was also not good, the crème brûlée was not good. The prices are reasonable, however. It can get crowded, be careful.

29/07/2025: La terraza es muy grande con una vista al lago de Como. La comida era buena, especialmente el prosciutto crudo con la burrata. IT fue un poco caro en comparación con los otros restaurantes que hemos visitado en la región.

04/07/2025: Cenamos aquí esta noche y ¡nos encantó! Pedimos trucha ahumada que se derretía en la boca y tenía un sabor delicioso. Los ravioles de mantequilla y salvia estaban deliciosos, ¡la pizza incluso estaba buena! Mi marido pidió el filete y dijo que era el mejor que había probado en Italia. ¡Deberíamos haber reservado para poder conseguir un asiento con vistas!

02/07/2025: Hoy fue un día de navegar en ferry por el lago. Por la tarde tomé un ferry a Menaggio. Es una ciudad bonita y en mi caminata desde el embarcadero paré a tomar una cerveza en Dal Tato (la cerveza también venía con un acompañamiento de crutones de pan con ajo, ¡delicioso!). Luego continué hacia la ciudad para explorar, ya que quería cenar antes de regresar a Bellagio (donde me estoy hospedando), así que decidí regresar a Dal Tato. El camarero que me atendió antes me reconoció y me dijo: “¿otra cerveza?” Sonreí y pregunté si estaban sirviendo comida. Ellos eran. En lugar de sentarme en un pequeño patio al costado del camino donde me senté antes, me llevaron adentro a un hermoso comedor con vista al lago. Comí ravioles rellenos de queso bitto y bresaola, en mantequilla, con salvia y amaretto desmenuzado. Totalmente deliciosos y los recomiendo.

23/08/2025: We came to the restaurant 15 minutes before opening and weren’t allowed to be sat on the patio until opening. Espresso based to-go beverages are available before opening, but if you come early, plan to shop at some of the boutique shops until they are ready to seat and serve your group. This was a great café for sitting and enjoying time with family. It is located in a beautiful Italian alley with friendly shopkeepers and authentically local shops. Church bells ring fairly frequently after opening (maybe four times in two hours). The food was delicious with relatively larger portions. Be careful not to over order as we had a party of six and had plenty of leftovers. Many dishes can be made into vegetarian including the lasagna! The pizzas a large and rectangular. Consider sharing if you would like to try multiple menu items. Two mozzarella di buffala pizzas were big enough to share with our party of six. There are few waiters for the entire patio. Our waiter was extremely attentive and lovely to connect with, but make sure you have time to really sit and enjoy your meal and company the Italian way, especially when the restaurant gets busier for lunch.

04/07/2025: We were apprehensive about eating here due to a very mixed bag of reviews we saw, but the food sounded so fantastic we decided to go ahead and book for dinner. I'm so incredibly glad that we did, as the food was amazing and the service was very good. We didn't wait long for our food, and the waiters were all very tentative and polite/professional. We had the creamy risotto and gnocchi, followed by the tiramisu and chocolate soufflé and it was absolutely delicious. Would definitely recommend eating here.

08/06/2025: Super delicious—we had coffee here twice—cappuccino with oat milk, too! Pistachio croissants with a truly delicious filling for €1.80, olive focaccia, and delicious little tarts. Everything your heart desires 🥰

05/06/2025: I saw the ratings on Google and in the pouring rain I went to this well-rated place. Unfortunately, after entering I was "greeted" by an evil gaze and I felt like I had entered somewhere I shouldn't have. I was soaking wet and really wanted to have a coffee and eat some cake somewhere, but as soon as I touched the menu the woman who was "serving" there started shouting something in Italian and it was certainly not an invitation to a table. I left and I do not recommend such places to anyone. We are not used to such standards in today's world. A terrible experience and lack of culture - I do not understand it. Fortunately, a few steps away across the street at Break Cafè the service saved Menaggio's good name.

22/08/2025: The place is new and very well kept. Changing rooms/showers/toilettes are superb. The food was good. Unfortunately the big pool (near the kids playground) was the coldest I have ever experienced in my entire life. Made it impossible to get in, much less for our small son. Unfortunately we wont be back, and I cannot recommend it to anyone.
