21/10/2025: Beautiful location and AMAZING food, but please play ITALIAN MUSIC! 🙂 No one wants to be in Lake Como looking at the beautiful sights and listening to Miley Cyrus! Haha! We stayed at an Airbnb near by and this restaurant was the best thing about the Airbnb!! We went twice. Hope to be back again someday!

15/10/2025: Fabulous family run restaurant in a beautiful setting with stunning views over the lake. This was a 5-7 walk from the hotel where we stayed and was recommended by our hotel receptionist. The food, service and atmosphere was brilliant. We had the pistachio pasta and lasagne which was amazing. The caramel panacota was really tasty and the house wine was really good as well. Overall really enjoyed our meal.

03/11/2025: Fantastic artisanal ice cream shop! You can tell the product is handmade and high-quality—very creamy and flavorful, and it doesn't look artificial like some other places. One of the best gelaterias we've ever tried.

12/11/2025: The restaurant has a very unwelcoming appearance (both inside and out), but in the end, the food is good! We had a pizza and pasta carbonara, which were both delicious. It just goes to show, never judge a book by its cover!

15/10/2025: We had an amazing lunch here. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, I had the local fish dish with polenta. Wine recommendation with my meal was spot on. And they accommodate us with our dog which made it an even better experience. I highly recommend this restaurant.

30/10/2025: We have traveling in Italy for 3 weeks now. Confess we are tired of Pizza and Pasta. We adventured to have Japanese in this little town. It was simply delicious, flavorful and fresh. A little gem in Menaggio, highly recommended.

17/10/2025: Mauricio was a kind host, very accommodating and friendly. The food was great, atmosphere was very calming & pleasurable. Great location close to the ferry and a great view of the lake! I will go back next time I am in the area.

12/10/2025: We ate very well in front of the lake. The waiter, who speaks Spanish, was very friendly and attentive. He gave us recommendations on portion sizes, etc. The food was delicious.

02/12/2025: We were visiting the town the last weekend of November and stumbled upon this place while looking for something to eat, and it was a great find. The food was delicious, and the service was excellent and fast. Then, when it came time to pay, we saw they had Panettone, and the owner took us to the side where they have their pastry shop, which has been around for many years. They invited us to try the Panettone, which was amazing, and we bought some pastries (of course!) haha.

30/11/2025: Cozy place, very good product and excellent service! Considering where we were, the quality-price was good, the portions were sometimes generous. The gentleman (we assume he was the owner) is very friendly! He also showed us their own pastry shop, and we were impressed, very cool and they have a variety of sweets to choose from (we took an artisanal Panetone and it was delicious!)

31/10/2025: A lovely place to start the day with the best Italian flavors. I tried a freshly baked brioche cornetto with a creamy cappuccino—a perfect morning combination. Everything looked delicious, from the pastries to the bread. The atmosphere is cozy, and the aroma of coffee and freshly baked dough makes you want to linger. I'll definitely be back! 🇮🇹☕🥐

11/10/2025: A wide selection of delicious sweets. Worth the price. The brioche was good... but the fillings were very different... the chocolate was good, but you had to search for the pistachio filling. No parking spaces nearby... so it was 'Italian' in the middle of the street or on a side street.

14/11/2025: We had the Focaccia Bianca and the Pinsa Divino 13, both absolutely delicious. The pinsa was also very original, with yellow tomatoes, spicy salami, chili threads, and lemon zest – I'll definitely have to remember that for my next pinsa! The service was excellent. The value for money was very good. Definitely a recommendation and 5 stars!!!

07/10/2025: Something beautiful. Such an atmosphere is a treasure. One of the most beautiful places on Lake Como, a must-visit with your loved one.

03/10/2025: Positive: The mini golf course is also okay, and for €5 per adult and €4 for children, it's okay. But that's about all the great things Lido Menaggio has to offer. Contrary: I can say without exaggeration that the bathing area is an absolute disgrace compared to the entrance prices, bordering on a rip-off. A family of four pays €20 to enter. However, after that, you're only allowed to lie on the lawn. A sun lounger costs an additional €4, and a parasol another €4. You quickly notice that the entire complex is unkempt, and in some places even looks neglected. The toilets aren't cleaned (literally covered in trash), there's no toilet paper, the sand soccer field is a disgrace, with broken glass on the floor and staff walking carelessly past it, and cigarette butts on the lawn. After a power outage lasting almost two hours, the thawed ice cream is resold. Truly disgusting!!! We declined politely. The other food options are no better. A regular burger costs €6, a sausage in a bun with mustard is sold as a hot dog and costs €5, and a regular-sized portion of fries also costs €5. The prices are outrageous considering what's on offer. The Menaggio Lido seems to want to be a hip place. But it can't. It seems forced and incompetent. The list of flaws could go on endlessly. In Germany, a lido like this would have to close after one season. I can think of one good thing, though... The water playground in the lake is great; all the kids who can swim and the adults have fun here, and that was ultimately the only reason we went there three times. Otherwise, you can safely avoid this place. But form your own opinion. Have fun!
