21/03/2024: Unfortunately, my experience at Thai Cafe in Como was extremely disappointing. Although the food was acceptable, the service was extremely poor and unfriendly. The person in charge of the room seemed constantly annoyed and unhelpful, which contributed to making the atmosphere even more unpleasant. The main issue was the mysterious disappearance of my wallet inside the venue, with the staff showing little interest in offering assistance. This episode is unacceptable and has significantly undermined my confidence in the restaurant. During my stay, I also witnessed highly questionable behavior: the room manager filled glass bottles with water from small half-liter bottles, then closed them and presumably sold them to customers. The bottles that were served to us were open and without corks, raising strong doubts about the transparency and ethics of the place. Prices are high for the amount of food served and the experience mentioned above. However, they are clearly displayed both on the menu and online. I would also like to specify that I have already initiated the relevant reports and complaints regarding the incident. I sincerely hope that Thai Cafe Como takes corrective action as soon as possible, in order to ensure a safe and ethical environment for all future customers. The restaurant also has my contact details in case my wallet reappears with them or for other explanations where necessary.

26/03/2024: The desserts are good, the service unfortunately leaves something to be desired. Some days even in the morning, they do table service, other days I was told that in the morning, even during the week, they don't do table service, but after I had already paid. For me, who often goes with a small child who sleeps in the stroller, if I had been alone (which often happens), after paying, I would have had to leave. I don't even understand how elderly people can bring a tray to the table. Then everyone makes their own management choices, just as the customer also makes their own choices accordingly.

23/03/2024: A large choice of brioches and very good, excellent coffee, fast service and a very friendly cashier, a little understaffed due to the turnout because the tables and counters remain full of empty cups and crumbs but it's worth it

12/05/2024: We were there today, it is located in a somewhat secluded street parallel to that of the train station. There were 4 of us without a reservation and in a certain hurry, since we had to leave at 1.30pm. They welcomed us immediately and, having explained our situation, they immediately made themselves available to take our orders. They were absolutely kind and attentive. Given the little time available we only ordered the pizzas, well cooked and with good ingredients. We will definitely try other dishes next time. Even just for the availability shown, it's worth going back.

05/05/2024: We don't go in. We asked if they had a table for 2 at 1:45 p.m. and they answered a little rudely that it was already late.

22/06/2024: As always it is a pleasure to spend an evening with good food. Hot and cold starters were good and plentiful. Very tasty first courses, especially the burnt wheat orecchiette....the ones with broccoli and anchovies are a little too delicate (I would add an extra anchovy to suit personal taste). Good sorbets. A pleasure for the palate.

25/05/2024: I am a regular at Oyishi since several years now. One of the best sushi places I have ever been to. Variety of choices and plates of high quality. They offer some places that I have rarely seen elsewhere. Reasonable price. Suitable for families and groups.

09/06/2024: Comi107 was an excellent dining experience, featuring a clean modern vibe with great art surrounding the chill dining room. Our Beef Tartare was one of my favorites too date, and the fried fish with crema di patite was simply a delicious combination alongside a great bottle of wine.

01/04/2024: Trattoria in a characteristic square of Como behind the lakefront, a very convenient location. Interesting menu with various proposals with truffles and lake fish. We will soon have crouton with lard and truffle, spectacular! The lard melts in your mouth and is very tasty! Excellent meat tartare served with various sauces and decorations to assemble crostini to your liking. Also light proposals suitable for the summer period. Excellent service, with waiting times just right for a peaceful lunch, very friendly and helpful waiter. The bill was suitable for what we ate. In this period of intense heat I recommend going to dinner to fully enjoy this experience.

27/05/2024: Very helpful and friendly staff. We followed his recommendations of wines and no regret! They have a cheese store as well and he guided us there. We bought 4 wines and couple of different cheeses! You can find different kind of Italian wines and prices are ups and downs depends on your budget. I like this store. I recommend 100%!

13/04/2024: I was at the wine shop during Easter, we were warmly welcomed, we ate wonderful club sandwiches and a sublime Catalan cream. It's the right place to become a loyal customer!

12/02/2024: Beautiful restaurant in Como that surpassed my expectations. The outside does not do justice to the interior! The deco simple, with the use of natural materials, minimalistic but so warm and welcoming. And very relaxing, no doubt helped by the choice of instrumental background music. Different areas throughout. I was in the typical Japanese low seating area. So beautiful! The food was really good, both in quality, presentation and execution and the service great. All at a very reasonable price. Highy recommended! I will certainly be back if i come here again

25/03/2024: Good morning I am a regular visitor to Como and I often have breakfast there, this morning I decided to try this bar. I must say that first of all I didn't like at all that the croissants and bread are served without gloves or tongs, and another thing is that the prices are disproportionate compared to other bars, and among other things the receipt is not the detail from home it was consumed, (various) it doesn't mean anything it's a total it must be detailed I have to know what I consumed, I'm sorry but I won't go back there again. I saw that regarding the fact that they answer that they only touch the bread, who says that the sales assistant just scratched her head or just went to the bathroom, this doesn't make sense, you have to wear gloves/use tongs Best regards

24/03/2024: I rarely post negative reviews, but this time I can't help myself, especially to avoid the same surprise for others. 8 of us sat, 4 adults and 4 children... we ordered 4 spritzes, 2 juices, 1 coke and 1 water. They brought us 2 nice platters, nothing to say about the quality and goodness of the products, but when it was time to pay we had an unpleasant surprise: 7.50 EURO PER PERSON, including children and including the bottle of water. No one had warned us before about the prices and the "particular" formula of the place. However from now on we will always ask the price of drinks first to avoid other costs in the future unpleasant surprises.
