07/06/2025: A cozy local restaurant where you have to make some effort to get there. With a powerful (not too big) car the path is just doable, although it is recommended to leave this to the locals only. On foot it is a steep climb but you get a beautiful panorama over the lake in return. Once you arrive at the Osteria you are showered with hospitality. This place is well known among mountain hikers and the locals. The chef's suggestions are fresh and super tasty. In addition, you will find various classics on the menu that are undoubtedly just as tasty and the price is certainly very economical. The charming friendly service is completely free. An absolute must.

02/06/2025: MANAGEMENT CHANGED I'll start by saying that we've been going to this place for over 4 years and we've never had such a bad experience Gnocco fritto no longer available since Easter (or so they told us). When we booked we said there was a celiac person and they told us there was no problem because they had everything; when we got there they told us they no longer had gluten-free gnocco, nor breadsticks or crackers, so the girl ate some cold cuts without anything. We celebrated a 50th birthday, wanting to surprise them we called to have them make a cake and when we called they replied that they had a partner pastry shop where they made it lactose-free as it was our request, with a single portion without gluten, in the end they made the cake themselves (without even telling us) because for a pastry shop making lactose-free was too difficult?!! (This story stinks) They made us pay €7 per slice (we wanted it all and since there were 7 of us, what they made us pay to have the slice and the agreement on the phone was to have it all otherwise we would all have taken the choice of their dessert) plus it even arrived without the happy birthday written on it. The jams with the cheeses were non-existent but were simple onions and peppers (2 whole squares) The first courses (including the gluten-free) were all salt-free, I understand that salt is bad for you but charging €14 for tasteless casoncelli is a no thanks. The service was almost non-existent, we were always the ones asking, even though the girl who served us was always helpful and nice. The girl at the cash register was not very competent, unfortunately, when she made us pay for an extra slice of cake, but having noticed it on the receipt she gave us the €7 back.

11/05/2025: Visita veloce sul lago d'Iseo con famiglia e amici... Abbiamo prenotato all'ultimo trovandolo chiaramente su Tripadvisor ... Siamo rimasti entusiasti sia del posto molto caratteristico sia dai proprietari molto gentili e disponibili. Ottima la degustazione dei formaggi, la Fiorentina, la Costata e gli arrosticini. Vino locale buonissimo. Dolci discreti. Da ritornare sicuramente quando in zona.

07/07/2025: My friends and I went for a hen party on a weekend in May.... The rooms are very clean and beautiful.... Monia is very nice and helpful... On Sunday morning we had breakfast on the terrace overlooking the lake.... What can I say, really very beautiful and recommended... I will definitely go back!!!!

22/06/2025: Good morning Mrs. Elisa, I would like to clarify regarding my review. If the chef's uniform is dirty it is a good sign because he has prepared many dishes but when he is called into the dining room for a compliment in my opinion he could take off the apron, then everyone is free of their profession.. regarding the pizza I did not like. Another clarification: the French fries are made in sticks instead the Chips are made in thin slices, since I ask for French fries and there are Chips it would be more appropriate for someone to say so before taking them. Finally the smile 😄 it was 7.30 pm so the service had started about an hour ago, we did not arrive at the restaurant at 10 pm to eat so it is normal for the waiter to sulk, however madam I remain of the opinion that a smile is always needed in front of a customer when you bring them a dish. thank you very much for your attention and good work 😀😃😄😁
