03/11/2024: Returning from a trek we find ourselves in this classic trattoria with a beautiful view of the lake. Classic menu with very abundant local and home-made dishes such as mixed starters and first courses. Super friendly and welcoming owner who also explained the traditional local dishes to us.

06/01/2025: Christmas lunch. Excellent Christmas lunch with various courses, all produced by them including bread, wine, oil, panettone. The staff is friendly and kind, from the restaurant room you can enjoy an excellent view of the lake, I will return. I didn't stop to sleep

25/01/2025: The pasta with sardines and tomatoes was drowned in oil. Perch fillets were absolutely not fresh/caught as has been said. High prices in relation to quality. Nice place, with a very nice view of the lake.

20/01/2025: Cena meravigliosa con prodotti di qualità e lavorazione rispettosa. Bella location con fantastica vista su Sulzano. Abbassare le luci per creare un po' di atmosfera potrebbe renderlo ancora più magico. Consigliatissimo.

20/01/2025: Saturday for lunch, wonderful sunshine, not too crowded, we ordered lake fish with polenta. The fried fish was a little too salty, whitefish and perch good. It is so worth walking a few km, stopping to admire nature, listening to the silence and then stopping here to eat

13/01/2025: In exceptional experience. Today the sun was shining on Monte Isola so I decided to take a little trip and have lunch there. I chose the Trattoria del Sole for its splendid position on the lake, everything else was a splendid discovery. Very friendly and courteous staff. Olive oil produced by them used to dress the salad, very fragrant and tasty. The varied menu, fish and meat dishes. I chose grilled fish with mixed salad for dessert and a delicious chocolate cake covered in dark chocolate 🫣 the bomb. The environment is very clean and relaxing and the view is spectacular! I will definitely be back!

12/09/2024: I am a 'repeat offender' and had to go back to this nice family's delicatessen on my third stay (in 2 years) on the island. A very clear purchase recommendation for delicious culinary specialties from the island and the area. We miss the friendly, family-like service over the counter, like in grandma's time, in our homeland. Stay having fun for a long time, stay healthy, live long!!!

23/08/2024: This shop is like a treasure chest, in a small space you can find everything from rental bikes to the island's typical dried sardines and other local delicacies
