My favorite restaurateurs and restaurants....
20/03/2026: Tried for lunch, discovered by chance thanks to the positive reviews, which I can confirm. This place is one of those few restaurants that still feel human, where you're immediately welcomed with kindness and calm, and time slows down. It's small, and the decor is pleasant and elegant. I tried the lunch menu, which, at the right price, allows you to sample excellent dishes at a reasonable price. Everything was delicious, perfectly cooked and carefully arranged.

14/04/2026: At Easter, we had lunch at Cortile del Gelso with our family (about ten people). It's a cozy little restaurant with a varied à la carte menu featuring both traditional and innovative dishes. From appetizers to desserts, we enjoyed carefully prepared, excellent-quality dishes. The wait staff was professional and welcoming. We had a great time.
21/01/2026: A very beautiful restaurant with amazing meals at very fair prices. The staff are friendly and quick to assist. The food is consistently delicious and the menu offers specials (which change frequently) and are reliably great. The outdoors and indoors are both very pretty. Parking might be a bit of an issue (it is slightly limited, but if you are willing to walk for a few minutes, you can park nearby).

06/04/2026: Returning to Lombardy after a few months, I stopped by Pizzeria Al Portec....an opportunity to choose from the meat menu and excellent desserts....everything was more than confirmed...well done! Congratulations!

The service and menu were excellent! This evening, I also tried the fish menu. Well done, congratulations. See you next time!

11/09/2025: Nice cafeteria where you can enjoy the view of Lake Garda while eating ice cream.
08/09/2025: As someone who pays a lot of attention to reviews, I don't understand why this gelateria doesn't have higher ratings. The vanilla Amerena lemon crumble ice cream is absolutely fantastic, but the hazelnut ice cream is also highly recommended! Friendly service and large scoops for the price. We went back the day after.

10/10/2025: What a restaurant! Super friendly, dogs more than welcome, a great outdoor ambiance, and above all: the best food! The carbonara is a dream. Just like the tiramisu and the pizzas.
10/10/2025: Simply the best carbonara and pizza. We'll probably spend a lifetime searching for tiramisu, which unfortunately serves as our reference point now. ;) Grazie mille and see you soon :)

25/04/2026: A very nice and clean place. It boasts a lovely garden with plenty of seating, overlooking the lake. Very friendly, cheerful, and polite service. Excellent quality, fair prices.
You can reach it by car, through the entrance of the Onda Blu Viale Catullo residence, or on foot along the Lungolago Maurizio Olivari.
A place suitable for everyone. Dogs are welcome.
16/04/2026: We stopped for a quick snack. What a wonderful discovery! A lovely, relaxing location with a stunning view, and friendly, helpful staff. The Nasimi Club (not just any sandwich) is delicious and will definitely become my go-to when I'm in the Manerba area, but I'm curious to try more!

03/05/2026: A lovely private corner overlooking the lake, welcomed with friendliness and kindness.
01/05/2026: Reasonable prices (11 euros for a large alla spina and an Aperol Spritz plus olives and chips) and friendly service. Unfortunately, it's only in the "second row" with a partial view of Lake Garda. It's a shame there wasn't a small kitchen for a quick bite. All in all, it was nice!

11/05/2026: Very beautiful location with a well-kept garden, quite good food, shame about the slow service, very slow, too slow with untrained staff. Half an hour between one course and the next.
04/05/2026: A well-maintained and welcoming venue, it offers a quiet atmosphere despite being located on the busiest streets. The dishes are well-prepared and of excellent quality. Prices are reasonable for the type of food offered.

20/05/2026: This pizzeria is a real hidden gem in the region. It has a large outdoor area with a swing and slide for children. Even in the off-season, the tables filled up very quickly. During peak season, reservations are recommended. The food is delicious, and the dessert is especially recommended. The value for money is excellent, and there are no hidden cover charges. A particular highlight: the food arrived very quickly, and the staff was very attentive.
18/05/2026: Seafood and meat restaurant, pizza, fast service and friendly waiters, open only in the summer and with many tourists, at rush hour it can be a bit crowded due to the many people but bearable, outdoor children's area!

12/05/2026: Very friendly owner and the staff are also very attentive. Everything is very well organized and CLEAN!!! Right on the lake. Great restaurant very close by.
03/05/2026: The hotel, right on the beach, is fabulous. The rooms are clean, and breakfast is very good. Half-board and full-board options are not available. Bus connections are not particularly nearby, but otherwise everything is perfect.

16/04/2026: The tagliolini with whitefish are the best on the lake, but the bigoli with sardines was a delightful discovery. Fabione, a great chef!
And finally, their pizza is highly recommended: thin, tasty, and light, a must try!
