24/08/2025: I don't know how to adequately describe the wonderful experience at Cortile del Gelso. Let's start with the kindness and helpfulness when booking: being vegan, I asked if they had any options and found someone knowledgeable and ready to list them for me. We dined in the beautiful internal courtyard; everything was incredibly "just right": the decor, the lighting, the background music, everything was perfectly curated. The food was truly excellent, and each course was presented to us by the very kind woman who looked after us and advised us. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much for the wonderful evening; it was definitely one of the most beautiful places we've ever been!

08/09/2025: As someone who pays a lot of attention to reviews, I don't understand why this gelateria doesn't have higher ratings. The vanilla Amerena lemon crumble ice cream is absolutely fantastic, but the hazelnut ice cream is also highly recommended! Friendly service and large scoops for the price. We went back the day after.

08/09/2025: Great place. The beers are AMAZING. Huge selection of beers. From the ever-present classics to the seasonal ones. The food is a bit too predictable. There used to be much more choice in the past. Now it's the same old stuff you find everywhere. The same old homemade burgers everyone makes, skin-on Dippers (which I personally don't like) instead of the classic sticks. The bread, which used to be excellent, is now the same old sliced ​​loaf. The music doesn't suit the atmosphere. There's a smoking room with a separate ventilation system. But I haven't seen it in years. The pork shank and pizza slices are excellent. The salads are plentiful. I'd suggest trying all the beers, because they really are amazing.

These are their strong points! I come here often and recommend it to everyone. Suitable for families and children, two parking lots, and seating inside and out, in short, it has it all, and everything is affordable for everyone. And remember, you won't find a place like this on the lake... quality and price! My compliments to all the staff, especially Giada, the owner's daughter, who flies... always at 1000 miles an hour. 08/09/2025: Not recommended. Poor value for money. Very small portions for a lot of money. We pointed out to the waiter that we had been served one too many dishes (without ordering it). He became rude and said we had ordered it (which we didn't) – and then had to pay for it. We also got a stomach flu after eating the raw tuna.

14/09/2025: Hotel directly on the lake, separated only by a promenade. The beach is not part of the hotel. It's a pebble beach. Sunbeds and umbrellas are subject to a fee. Restaurants are in the immediate vicinity. Breakfast buffet, with all the essentials, including a variety of fruit. Clean rooms, with daily towel changes. Friendly, unobtrusive service. There's "actually" enough parking. The sound of the waves is audible. €102 per night per room for early September is very good value. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you very much.

13/09/2025: The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was okay, rather simple, but sufficient. The overall decor is simple and unfussy, but functional. The absolute highlight is the unbeatable view of Lake Garda – simply stunning! The location is also impressive: just a few meters from the beach.

28/08/2025: I don't understand all the positive reviews. We went on August 15th, an hour wait for the menu, a half-hour wait to order. The tagliatelle with "artichoke and bacon sauce" arrived, but in reality they were completely raw. The tortelloni (three of us) arrived covered in oil. We ran away. The final blow? €40 for a plate of plain pasta! Never again!
