Passing through Manerba del Garda on July 23, 2026, we stopped at the Gelso restaurant...the rating convinced us to book. We were very pleased with the quality of the food, which was well-prepared and excellent. The wine we chose was also good. The price was fair. The kindness of the lady who served us was much appreciated. I would point out that a slightly more elegant decor and table setting wouldn't hurt. Just a suggestion. In any case, I recommend it, as someone who is very selective about food...a word to the wise is enough! Marina Longani

Excellent, well-maintained restaurant, friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent dishes from appetizers to dessert. The price is reasonable for the selection and the quality of the ingredients. We also asked for a customized entree, and they made it right away. Well done, great job. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food! The pasta with rabbit ragù was a highlight, and the fish and meat were also excellent. Consistently outstanding quality.
The staff was friendly, attentive, and competent. Overall, a restaurant I would gladly recommend.

Excellent experience. Everything is focused on the freshness of the products and the artisanal preparation of the dishes. The flavors are delicious. The fish dishes are truly worth trying, as are the bread, pasta, and passion fruit sorbet...all homemade. The wine and olive oil are also excellent. There's a lot of care and dedication in the kitchen; you can tell everything is prepared with great love and passion. Finally, the waitress's friendliness and excellent service.

A tiny spot stumbled upon by chance, yet such a delightful surprise. The ambience feels charming and orderly, spotless, warm, and genuinely inviting. The food is excellent: the menu is small, but every dish is crafted with care, and you can taste that love from the very first bite.

Great experience! There were 8 of us and we all had a great time. The food was really good, with generous portions and quality ingredients. The service was friendly and attentive despite being a large group. The atmosphere was pleasant and the prices were in line with the quality. We'll definitely be back, highly recommended!
