16/06/2025: Restaurant found by chance but it was a great surprise! Obviously we ate lake fish, the lake appetizer was delicious, well presented and really excellent, only four types but really well done, then we went straight to the second course always of lake fish, the grilled whitefish and trout were amazing, well cooked and with a pleasant aroma of the past, but in my opinion the "BEST" were the lake sardines, something incredible, I felt like I was in Romagna when I ate the grilled Sardoncelli at the "Pazzo di Riccione" The excellent price for quality/price was also much appreciated! I also remember that this restaurant is a Historic Place of the Lombardy Region. The few tables in the small street are enchanting, we really appreciated the service of the owners! I highly recommend it to all lovers of lake fish!

16/06/2025: My wife and I went here while were in Lake Garda for our honeymoon and for us both, it was the best meal we’ve ever had. Fresh, local ingredients cooked and prepared to perfection, helpful and extremely attentive and friendly service (above and beyond), amazing wine and pairing help… best risotto and scallops we have ever had as well. What an amazing experience top to bottom and would recommend to any and all. Grazie mille Sofia and Orietta!!

06/06/2025: Incredible food, worthy of a trip! The restaurant is cozy, chic and located in the quaint town of Gargnano in Lake Garda. While the dishes are seafood heavy, the chef was able to alter the selections to accomodate my shellfish allergy. Best lemon risotto we have ever had!! The dishes are so light and delectable, especially the branzino. Don't miss out on desserts. Beautiful porcelain serverware. Highly recommend- 10/10.

04/07/2025: Extremely disappointing! I had high expectations for this hotel, and what a disappointment! Especially considering the price paid and the supposedly luxury service. You arrive at 3 p.m. and are told the room isn't ready. You have to wait. No matter what you ask, you're always told no. The service doesn't live up to the level of luxury declared by the establishment. As someone who regularly visits luxury hotels, this isn't one of them. The rooms are very dated and poorly maintained. Everything is forbidden in this hotel. I came with several people for business. We were at the pool and chatting among ourselves; there was no shouting, no rudeness, no disrespect; we were simply chatting among six people. We were kicked out of the pool because we couldn't talk. I've never experienced this treatment in any other hotel! And the manager's attitude was disastrous. We told them we had just ordered several bottles but wanted to cancel the order since we couldn't chat by the pool, and he replied, "I've already canceled your order." Basically, in this hotel, there's no relaxation, no good times, no vacation; you're not allowed to do anything, to touch anything... I'll never go back.

03/07/2025: We had been there 10 years ago and left with unforgettable memories. Unfortunately, we returned recently and the experience was far inferior. The resort lacks maintenance, its staff, with a few exceptions, isn't very helpful, and its spa, which was so incredible, is now just another spa. Just an example to explain myself better. I called today at 6 am for help with my luggage. 15 minutes later, I complained, and a very helpful Mr. Mateo came almost running, but it was the same guy who checked us out, fetched our car from the parking lot, and made us coffee. Specifically, it's incredible that Lefay only has one person at that hour for all of this. I reiterate that I have zero complaints about Mateo, on the contrary. It's with the hotel's CEO so he understands that there are things that just can't happen in a 1,000-euro-a-night hotel. I want to highlight three names of people who have been very kind: Claudia, Andrea, and Salvatore, apart from Mateo. I hope you understand why I received such a low rating and that it helps you.

18/06/2025: Parking here was a problem. We were not aware that up front parking came with a fee. Free public parking is "near" but subject to availability. When we checked in, the elevator was not working. Our room was very stuffy and took most of the night to finally cool down. The balcony is extremely small and is directly under a busy street. Its an older hotel.

25/06/2025: Very friendly hosts! You sit and eat right on the small harbor of Gargnano. It's cozy, and you receive a warm welcome. A great small menu and excellent wine selection. Highly recommended for a lunch stop by boat. Free moorings are 100 meters away. Highly recommended.
