27/12/2025: Business dinner, good quality food and wine, some portions need revising, the strozzapreti were exceptional, but only 3 of them... the casoncelli were excellent and luckily they stopped by for a second round.
13/12/2025: On the recommendation of a prominent local, whom we casually asked for directions, we found ourselves at this restaurant for lunch.
The location, with its beautiful and carefully designed interior, was a surprise.
Excellent food, including casoncelli di Barbariga, boneless guinea fowl, and stuffed punta ripiena.
Informal and friendly service.
Absolutely reasonable value for money.
One of the best restaurants we've tried.

11/01/2026: Stratospheric casoncelli, the best ever. The owner knows how to fulfill any request you have, impeccable service.
27/12/2025: I had to try the "famous casoncelli" for a friend, and luckily we found a table. Very friendly service. Spectacular casoncelli with generous portions. The meat was also excellent. I've marked it on my agenda for my next visit to the Bassa.
I'll also order a portion of casoncelli to take home.

29/10/2025: Lunch for €51.
Consisting of 38 daily menus: 2 courses + €4 cover charge, €3 water, €5 coffee... the problem is that they DON'T give you a price list... they tell you everything verbally... and you think... the fixed 2-course work menu will be at a controlled price and include cover charge and water... but NO!
So... when you receive the bill, you feel cheated and think you've acted bordering on commercial dishonesty. You should always give customers the menu with the prices, especially if it's a business lunch with extra costs.
However (as much as I enjoyed the good food, atmosphere, and service), one adjective stuck in my mind: "sneaky"... so... NEVER AGAIN
31/08/2025: The restaurant is welcoming and elegant... the choice to have large, well-spaced tables makes the time more pleasant.
The service is attentive and meticulous.
Chef Diego Papa pours all his passion into his dishes, striving to maximize the quality of the products he uses... creating a tasty and anything but predictable menu!
The sommelier, Giambattista Papa, has created an excellent wine list, with the appreciated choice, for me, of including for each wine the grapes used to produce it (in champagne)... but if you're not sure what to choose, trust his taste!
To sum up, a pleasant place, attentive service, excellent food, a wide selection of wines... you have to try it at least once!!
