24/03/2024: Very high prices compared to the quality, 3 fried foods €72 and also very badly made with tropical prawns, the first courses were good, I would say the minimum given the prices, but the desserts and fried foods were unacceptable. I'm sorry but I won't go back and I don't recommend it.
26/02/2024: Breathtaking view of the Gulf of Monterosso and a quiet and relaxing environment. Very tasty dinner and abundant dishes with a pleasant background of lounge music.

24/10/2023: We had a great dinner here. The fish dishes are really delicious. The wine recommendation also went well with the food. The restaurant is run by a couple and they are both extremely friendly.
19/10/2023: It was mid afternoon so thoughts again turned to where to go for dinner. Fortunately, Monterosso al Mare has lots of choices. We picked Via Venti because it had great reviews - like many places in town - and was recommended by the people at our hotel.
Here are some of the pros and cons:
Pros:
- The food was excellent. My wife and I had entrees with pasta and seafood…mine was a mix of fish and her’s had mussels. Everything was fresh. We followed those with excellent tiramisu and lemon sorbet.
- Service was helpful and cordial if not “friendly”. What helped was personal attention from the owner who kept a watchful eye on things.
- Since it was fairly warm, we sat outside at one of several tables near the building which literally gave us a breath of fresh air.
- Our bottle of white wine from the region around Cinque Terre was fine
- It’s not cheap, but value for the meal was reasonable
Cons:
- We arrived when it opened at 7 PM and were the first people to be seated. Another person came at 720 PM and some trickled in after that. It actually felt a bit lonely. It’s not necessarily a “con”, but Via Venti needs better marketing. The place is down a quiet alley while a much lesser restaurant 50 feet away but closer to the main walkway had lots of customers.
We’d recommend Via Venti for the food…especially if you can find it…and trust your server offers a bit more personality than the one we had.

28/09/2023: If I could give this place 10 stars, I would!!! The owner is the absolute sweetest!!! The offer a wide selection of wine and cocktails. I had an espresso martini that was the BEST I’ve ever had!! In fact, I had two, and came back the next evening for one again!
Go, and trust me, you’ll love it too!!

Nous avons aussi essayé la foccaccia au nutela. Bon après faut aime le mélange de l'huile d olive sur la pain et le Nutella

26/11/2023: Si vous voulez faire une pause le long de la promenade, pourquoi ne pas vous arrêter ici, et apprécier la vue.
26/09/2023: Having been on a long day tour found this popular restaurant with a great view or the sea and beach with a large statue of a carved man in the sea cliffs.
Food menu was in English and choices were appropriate for size of café and price was ok to.
I had a salad and soft drink, the olive oil and balsamic dressing were in sachets.
Friendly staff who were attentive too.
Toilets clean
