05/04/2026: We ordered two pasta dishes, and after 10 minutes they told us one of them was no longer available. Exactly 5 minutes later, the pasta we had chosen arrived instead of the first one we ordered. BUT as soon as we tasted it, we realized it was the frozen kind you find at the supermarket! So we paid 40 euros for two thawed pasta dishes and two glasses of wine. We STRONGLY advise against it.

30/03/2026: Everything was perfect. I had an Aperol Spritz (well made). The appetizers were very good. The girl who served me was very kind...all at a very fair price (and that's not always the case!)

09/10/2025: After a long hike, I was looking for a nice restaurant that opened at 6 p.m. It was a real hit: delicious food prepared with love and friendly service.

27/09/2025: Maybe the best meal we had in ten days in Italy. I’m shocked the place wasn’t packed. It was a little off the main drag but definitely worth the walk. I don’t know why it doesn’t have better reviews. But my experience was excellent. I had the shrimp ravioli and it was absolutely perfect.

05/10/2025: A very charming B&B set high in the mountains overlooking Levanto in the distance - the rooms are spacious and decorated simply, but comfortably. Mine had a day bed with views over the mountains towards Monterosso. The two ladies on reception were friendly and helpful and helped to steer us in the right direction when plans went awry due to the weather. The restaurant was reasonably solid - the pasta dishes were the standouts - the service inconsistent. Reaching breakfast at 10.03 am I was told that the chef had left so nothing could be done. After a bit of coaxing I managed to get a dry cake and a coffee. (Also there is no chef in the morning I later discovered ...) Relying on taxis is a pain - while the prices are ostensibly fixed, that is not the case. 'Speedy' - who seemingly lives up to his name by his driving and perhaps for other reasons - charged EUR20 over the odds per trip. So expect to pay circa EUR80 per day for two 15 minute trips. Great spot - but best to have your own transport and I'd suggest eating out, particularly if the breakfast is not included.

17/04/2026: A kilo of assorted pizza and focaccia, for 18 euros. Excellent quality and flavor.

04/04/2026: According to them, this very thin sheet with almost no cheese would be a “focaccia di Recco” costing €25/kg.

22/10/2025: Me and my wife got two different dishes, Pasta carbonara and Seafood salad. My carbonara was overcooked and the seafood was frozen, microwaved and just put on the plate. The waiter asked us how the food was and I told her about the pasta, saying that it still had a good taste because I didn't want to be rude. She said that Carbonara is not specific to the region and if we want to eat good Carbonara we should go to Rome. How about you stop making food that you don't know how to make? I should also mention that we ordered this food because the focaccia on display was looking horrible. I wish you the best, close shop or change the whole staff.

23/03/2026: A wonderful spot for a cappuccino and a nice little treat. Service is wonderful and its a nice little patio to watch people rustle by.
