09/05/2026: Exquisite, refined cuisine. The flavors are a delight. Cuisine that rivals any Michelin-starred restaurant. Friendly, discreet, and elegant service with that gentle Italian simplicity. The rabbit ravioli and the caramelized stuffed cuttlefish with a hint of bacon. A marvel.

24/04/2026: After a beautiful day in the Cinque Terre, we found this place by chance, quite close to the Levanto train station. The menu is very varied, and the waiters verbally explain the catch of the day and the dishes they offer with it. We tried a little bit of everything, but what surprised us the most were their fresh pasta dishes, especially the rabbit tortelli. We also tried their BBQ ribs; they melted in your mouth. The service was excellent, the staff was super friendly and helpful, well-trained, and ready to answer every single question or curiosity. The bar was also excellent and well-stocked. Superb place, we'll be back!

27/09/2025: Maybe the best meal we had in ten days in Italy. I’m shocked the place wasn’t packed. It was a little off the main drag but definitely worth the walk. I don’t know why it doesn’t have better reviews. But my experience was excellent. I had the shrimp ravioli and it was absolutely perfect.

24/04/2026: An authentic place for a simple and inexpensive meal. I tried Focaccia con cipolle for the first time, which surprised and inspired me. I definitely recommend it!

05/10/2025: A very charming B&B set high in the mountains overlooking Levanto in the distance - the rooms are spacious and decorated simply, but comfortably. Mine had a day bed with views over the mountains towards Monterosso. The two ladies on reception were friendly and helpful and helped to steer us in the right direction when plans went awry due to the weather. The restaurant was reasonably solid - the pasta dishes were the standouts - the service inconsistent. Reaching breakfast at 10.03 am I was told that the chef had left so nothing could be done. After a bit of coaxing I managed to get a dry cake and a coffee. (Also there is no chef in the morning I later discovered ...) Relying on taxis is a pain - while the prices are ostensibly fixed, that is not the case. 'Speedy' - who seemingly lives up to his name by his driving and perhaps for other reasons - charged EUR20 over the odds per trip. So expect to pay circa EUR80 per day for two 15 minute trips. Great spot - but best to have your own transport and I'd suggest eating out, particularly if the breakfast is not included.

11/05/2026: Surprising. It looks like a normal aperitif bar, but it amazes you with its authentic and truly artisanal cuisine. The seafood and meat appetizers, as well as the bruschetta, are freshly prepared by a skilled chef. Everything is delicious. Highly recommended.

15/01/2026: I always wondered why such a beautiful place was always empty when I happened to pass by. One evening, I sat down for a spritz and I understood why... Nothing too bad to report, but it seems like any other bar, with a very young and seemingly inexperienced management team that favors sharing with friends, and then... there are also the customers...

04/07/2026: Possibly the worst pasta I had in all of Italy that didnt resemble any of the (two!) ingredients and instead of pecorino cheese, I got a plastic bowl with a bunch of packets from supermarket of some chemical parmigiano:)) Nightmare fuel!

21/06/2026: Nice place, but unprofessional waiter service, why?: you don't even have time to eat a bite before they ask you if you've finished and want dessert/coffee, if you sit on the outside benches in pairs, despite the fact that at that moment in the whole focacceria, there are only couples, they demand (on the owner's instructions, I suppose) if you give in, to move outside under a burning umbrella. I saw this done insistently, what a shame!

23/03/2026: A wonderful spot for a cappuccino and a nice little treat. Service is wonderful and its a nice little patio to watch people rustle by.
