24/11/2024: Andati a pranzo...male male male ..porzioni enormi, gusti insignificanti, abbinamenti quasi al limite ... eppure eravamo stati l anno scorso a cena con un menu degustazione ed eravamo stati da incanto .... è cambiato il cuoco ?! Sembrava di essere in un altro ristorante...peccato...

09/11/2024: Arriving by chance and curiosity in Ameglia, on our way to Lerici, we were won over by the atmosphere of this castle and stayed for lunch at the Locanda. The gastronomic offer is excellent with local dishes offered in a modern way. Courtesy and attentive service, with moderation. Excellent experience.
24/10/2024: Beautiful place, original, beautiful music and nice environment. The very knowledgeable and resourceful owner knows how to manage the full inn on her own, paying attention to everyone. Interesting food with recipes from Liguria and Lunigiana.

04/10/2024: A soul restaurant!!! One of the best restaurants I've visited so far and I've seen a lot... starts with a wonderful atmosphere: dining by candlelight (outside and inside). The table is always set with fresh white blankets. Cloth napkins are also used. Great soft music. In summer you can dine outside under the fig tree. Be sure to try it out. Great pasta creations, soups, desserts... everything is delicious, great quality, appropriate portions, beautifully prepared - nothing more is possible. The menu changes almost daily, the menu is handwritten in Italian, but the friendly owners help directly with translation and explanation. The staff was also wonderfully nice, but not intrusive. The prices are more than reasonable for this performance, for this ambience, for this service and quality. Go and enjoy! I hope I can return to this wonderful place (Montemarcello) again at some point. I have great memories of it… Grazie mile ♥️

03/01/2025: Excellent customer welcome by the guys. Then the "senior" waiter takes the orders but politely and intelligently offers inviting advice on what to choose. Excellent foods. Terrace ON THE SEA. I would say there is no need to add anything else.
08/09/2024: Fantastic location on the sea that allows you to taste excellent Sicilian food. We ate the parmigiana, the arancino with squid ink and finished with a cannoli... all very good! I recommend it!

05/01/2025: Too bad you can only eat the set menu. So much delicious food goes to waste, and a family of 4 necessarily has to spend 45 euros per person. For the rest we had a great time.

25/12/2024: We went on Christmas Day for lunch which included a fixed menu at €80 per person including wine, water and coffee.
We had a very good time, both in terms of time management of the courses and in terms of the food and quality of the dishes. Very very good, highly recommended as always
22/12/2024: Modern and welcoming venue, friendly and professional staff, quality raw materials prepared with care and skill. I rarely have coffee at restaurants but in this service it is very good.

Posto molto carino e ragazzi camerieri molto educati, e disponibili.
La vaporata fi mare forse essendo in un posto di mare sarebbeeglio se fosse fresca e non surgelata.
Le cozze alla marinara molto salate.
Spaghetto bagna verde buono anche se a mio avviso sembrava precotto.
Fritture abbondanti e dolci fatti in casa buoni.
Speso il giusto.
Da rivedere un attimino le materie prime, in quanto il pesce fresco in quellw zone non manca ed aha tutto un altro aspetto e sopratutto sapore.

16/08/2024: Ambiente carino, ma cena davvero sgradevole. Può darsi sia un caso isolato, ma nel momento in cui è stato fatto educatamente notare siamo stati etichettati come rompi scatole prevenuti. Sicuramente un titolare potrebbe sentirsi per lo meno dispiaciuto dell'accaduto comunicato con civiltà. Gnocchi industriali galleggianti in un mare di panna annacquata con pezzi di pomodoro crudo probabilmente della "bruschetta" presa come antipasto prima, ma anch'essa lasciata perché non era bruschettata bensì solo un pezzo di pane semplice con pomodoro. Nel menù erano dei semplici gnocchetti calamari e zucchine, panna annacquata e pomodorini non erano segnalati.
Ad ogni modo bastava essere cortesi per concludere meglio la serata, ma probabilmente ai proprietari non interessa visto che " è 30 anni che sono aperti per un motivo " come ci hanno detto. Forse 30 anni fa non c'era lo stesso chef.

However: You had to wait a long time for the order to be taken, and then for the food as well. There were 4 of us. 1 was brought out his main course first, after 5 minutes the 2nd main course, and after another 5 minutes 3 appetizers. We ate them all, then waited for the 2 main dishes that had not yet been brought out. We spoke after 25 minutes. They brought it after another 10 minutes. Huge mess with the service. There is no permanent waiter at 1 table, but whoever goes there brings or takes something.

03/11/2024: Non eravamo a conoscenza del cambio gestione. Cibo pessimo, templi biblici. Antipasti misti con salmone affumicato ( preso diretta mente dalla busta del supermercato). Pasta scotta con assenza di frutti di mare!

26/10/2024: Locale incantevole, uns struttura di legno con vetrate che ricorda un vero trabucco , a pochi minuti dal mare e da montemarcello .
La cena davvero ottima, antipasti di mare , primi e dolce , tutto buonissimo. Un'ottima selezione di vini . Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo.
22/09/2024: Locale molto carino, nel verde, sotto Montemarcello. Sautè di cozze ottimo. Deliziosi anche i tagliolini al nero e il fritto misto. Vino sfuso locale - vermentino- molto gradevole. Servizio gentile e rapido. Buon rapporto qualità/prezzo. Consigliato!
