27/06/2025: Food was below par for Italian standards in my opinion the ravioli tasted like it came out of a can and the calamari was like rubber. The service was below par in our opinion it took a very long time the dishes came sporadically on the table with some tables that were occupied it seemed like there was no structure with serving dishes.

01/07/2025: With my wife and a family of two friends we had dinner at this wonderful trattoria serving typical Ligurian cuisine located in the hamlet of Sant’Apollinare on the heights of Sori. We sat at one of the few tables on the outdoor terrace overlooking the sea and the promontory of Portofino. To get to the restaurant from Sori go up and head towards Sant’Apollinare and there is a small parking lot next to the Church but it is generally always full so you can park on the road below that leads to Sori. To have an outdoor table even during the week in summer they advised us to book at least 15 days in advance!!! We ordered; As an appetizer 2 focaccias with crido ham and stracchino, a focaccia with gorgonzola and Ligurian panissa similar in taste to chickpea farinata, which is in fact prepared with chickpea flour and water (without adding oil to the dough), to be eaten cold or fried. For starters: Trofie di farina bianca al pesto, pansoti alla salsa di noce (which our friend didn’t like) For main courses: 3 mixed grilled meats with chicken, pork loin, sausage, skewers For dessert: 2 lemon ice creams, a tiramisu and an amaretto semifreddo As mentioned, we were very satisfied with the starters, for the first courses except for the pansoti, for the second courses, the meat was delicious, abundant and for the desserts. The staff was welcoming, smiling, competent, friendly and helpful and the service was attentive, fast and the price was fair for the quality of the dishes. 21/07/2025: Their takeout service leaves much to be desired; the owner is rude and ill-mannered. There used to be the option of enjoying two slices of focaccia at the street tables, but now not even that anymore. I ordered three portions in separate packages, and they gave me everything in one, a mixed bag of cheese focaccia and pizza. If they want to force people to sit down at the restaurant, they should eliminate the takeout service. Even if the focaccia is good, I don't think I'll ever set foot in there again.

21/07/2025: Always good: simple, honest, and flavorful. We visited three times in total, twice for lunch in the trattoria itself and once for mostly focaccia to go. Try the trofie, the pansoti with walnut sauce, the ravioli ragu, and the biscuits with raisin wine (canestrelli).

29/06/2025: We had lunch at Trattoria Nestin and we were thrilled. The place is truly characteristic: a peaceful corner among the greenery, perfect for those seeking relaxation and good authentic Ligurian cuisine. The dishes are exceptional, genuine and abundant: special mention for the focaccette, irresistible and fragrant! But what makes this place truly special is the kindness of Mrs. Tamara, a Ukrainian lady who with her sympathy and ENERGY gave us a lunch full of smiles. Such a warm welcome is rare to find nowadays. In addition, the prices are very honest: an excellent quality-price ratio for such genuine cuisine. Highly recommended for those who love good food and a sincere welcome. We will definitely be back!

As first courses, pesto battolli, ravioli with meat sauce, tagliolini with mushrooms and 2 chestnut lasagnette with walnut sauce. As dessert: 3 lemon sorbets 1 vodka sorbet 1 panna cotta with strawberries Really everything was good, delicious, abundant. 18/07/2025: Very rude service. Came when restaurant was empty and tried to order one pizza to take away. Was told that they are too busy for that. While a local guy just ordered several pizzas in-front of me and was told in a friendly way to come back in 30 min.to pick up the order.. Guess this place is tolerant for locals only
