12/07/2026: The refuge can be reached by chairlift or on foot via a fairly steep trail of about an hour and a half, starting from the Santo Stefano d'Aveto ski lifts.
The menu offers a wide selection; I tried the trofie al pesto. There are plenty of outdoor tables and a beautiful forest where you can relax in the shade.
An enchanting place.
27/01/2026: A charming, well-maintained place. Visit with the utmost respect for nature, always taking your waste away or using the refuge's recycling bins. There's an outdoor barbecue area with a shelter and tables, and a fountain with fresh, drinkable water.

25/07/2026: A beautiful place to eat good and plentiful food, efficient service
24/07/2026: We only ate at the self-service restaurant, the food was excellent and the portions were generous. It was Sunday and there was a record turnout with inevitable queues and long waiting times between 12.30 and 2.30pm. However, the organisation was good and managed to serve the hundreds of people present.

"La Rocca" - Restaurant

19/10/2025: We have always had a good experience in the past, however today, in addition to offering us a limited menu....., the side dish of fried potatoes they said was not available (even if it was served later at other tables) in their place they only had baked potatoes available that were not of the day..... "shame"!!
15/09/2025: Not bad for a quick lunch or a drink. Friendly staff.

29/06/2026: Unfortunately, I have to give it one star: the place itself is cozy (except for the bathroom), but there was a long wait and mediocre service, with incorrect orders and bills (which were later kindly corrected). The organization, both in the dining room and kitchen, definitely needs rethinking. As for the food, the pizza was awful and tasteless; it tasted like eating a cracker. The desserts, however,—tiramisu and panna cotta—were excellent. Disappointing value; I wouldn't return.
07/06/2026: Trip to Santo Stefano d'Aveto. They welcomed us without a reservation. The wooden restaurant is welcoming and warm; delicious, homemade Ligurian dishes. The staff are kind and friendly.

02/08/2025: Pranzo infrasettimanale in coppia in questa trattoria, il locale è semplice come il servizio è essenziale, senza fronzoli.
Abbiamo mangiato ravioli al ragù, punta di Vitello con patatine fritte, una torta della nonna e un semifreddo al caffè, un caffè e una bottiglia d'acqua, tutto buono. Il punto forte il prezzo economico, considerando i tempi.
Consigliato, (se non cercate il lusso o piatti gourmet).

Mi è piaciuto tutto.
Tavoli ben distanziati in un ambiente luminoso e accogliente.
Ad iniziare, un gradito piattino di panissa offerto dalla casa.
Pizza molto gustosa, con impasto leggero e digeribile, ben condita.
Servizio cortese, rapido ed efficiente.
Conto modico.
Sono rimasta molto soddisfatta e tornerò sicuramente per provare altri piatti.

09/02/2025: Siamo stati diverse volte, sia a pranzo che a cena, ogni volta usciamo contenti e soddisfatti!
I primi e i secondi sono ottimi, meno gli antipasti e contorni, salumi invece buoni.
Il personale è molto professionale e molto gentile, disponibile anche con i bambini, davvero BRAVI.
Il filetto alla brace è uno dei piú buoni mai mangiati…
Ci piace tutto, l’atmosfera, il cibo, la gente, per noi una tappa fissa a Santo!
Prezzi in linea, non economico, ma ci pare giusto.
