01/03/2026: Average food, but prices are way above average. Long waits and very rude staff. Zero attention to allergies and intolerances. They make a mistake with a dish, you point it out, and their response is, "It's too crowded, so either you eat this or you have to wait at least another half hour, queuing at all the other tables." Okay, but the dish must have been removed from your bill... not even close. Never again!

05/01/2026: Slow service, barely adequate food, but the real problem is that on October 17th, while I was paying, the machine jammed, so I had to pay twice. Unfortunately, I ended up paying twice. I called and sent my IBAN, and they promised to refund one of the two payments. I wrote again yesterday, but I haven't received a response. It seems grossly unprofessional to charge double for a service that lasted over an hour and a half for farinata and pizza. I hope that, after reading the review, the owners can do what they promised.

25/10/2025: I had high expectations, given the reviews, I was very disappointed.... Terrible value for money, a starter, a first course, wine and coffee 29 euros, for a Saturday at lunchtime in a fairly anonymous trattoria, very noisy, food neither infamy nor praise, few smiles I would say it is truly exaggerated!

20/12/2025: I don't speak Italian, but everything was perfect. The pizza was 100% Italian, well-priced, and of great quality. It was freshly prepared. Everything was perfect.

22/11/2025: We're a group of friends on a sports trip to Varazze. We're looking for a place to grab a pizza, and the guys from our opposing sports team recommend this place. We called way late for a standard reservation (7:00 PM), and they easily found us a spot for 8:00 PM. We had a great meal: tasty pizzas, well-topped, and a good dough that was perfectly cooked. The waitress and manager were welcoming and smiling, and the pizza + dessert + drink + liqueur were all very competitively priced; you won't find anything similar at that price in La Spezia. We'll be back.

The outdoor seating is simply beautiful, perfect for enjoying the weather, but the indoor dining rooms also offer a warm and relaxing atmosphere. ​Honorable mention goes to the professional, impeccable, and extremely polite staff. You can sense their passion and care for their customers in every gesture. ​If you're in Cogoleto, OroNero is a must-see. Trust us, it's worth a try!
