19/01/2025: Today was a journey through time ... a journey of ancient flavors among the memories of the crackling of a hearth, of tables whitewashed with flour and the magic that Carlo Tonnarini can give to the Il Caraponzolo Restaurant in Calcata where tradition returns with its Flavors and its knowledge, between Nonna Agnese's visciarelle and the Calcatese Tigamaccia with wild fennel...a journey of flavors from other times...thanks Carlo.

27/01/2025: A place that has remained in my heart since the first time and has become a fixed destination for our lunches for more than a year. Sweet and friendly staff. The place doesn't have many tables and I recommend booking in advance because even just the journey from Rome is worth it.
On nice days it is also possible to eat outside.
The menu is always a surprise as the ingredients often change with the seasons. From personal experience I recommend focusing on the starters and first courses which I find truly exceptional.
Even the desserts deserve a lot!!

Ristorante La Terrazza Sul Treja

20/12/2024: My wife and I were alone in the room. Extremely cold outside and inside only the fireplace lit which didn't heat up. Hurried and unsociable waitress. Lime gnocchi with a few gnocchi and a lot of lime. Spaghetti with clams filled with chilli pepper (almost unbearable). Expensive bill.
20/12/2024: Location carina ma “vecchia”. Un restyling non sarebbe male. Abbiamo pranzato in una saletta dove era acceso solo un caminetto. La porta veniva aperta spesso e comunicando con l’esterno raffreddava subito l’ambiente. Cameriera non molto socievole.
Abbiamo preso due primi. Gli gnocchetti al lime erano molto lime e pochi gnocchi. Negli spaghetti alle vongole c’era talmente tanto peperoncino da risultare quasi non commestibili. Perché uccidere il gusto del piatto a furia di peperoncino??
Qualità prezzo non ci siamo.
