05/01/2025: ALMACIVITA dove la coerenza (costanza logica o affettiva nel pensiero e nelle azioni) è parte fondamentale del luogo, dove con i nostri amici siamo tornati per le nostre storiche permanenze ad Orvieto per UmbriaJazzWinter. Alessandra che, nonostante la sua momentanea disabilità ( le auguriamo una pronta guarigione) è stata impeccabile, educata, preparata sia sul cibo che sui "luoghi della Tuscia - dato che la sua principale professione è architetto - qui aiuta il fratello in questa attività di famiglia" Sergio ottimo direttore di sala presente ma non invadente. Tartare delicatissima, ombrichelli con cinghiale al palato raffinati, mix dolci come da foto. Ecco questa è la COERENZA, questa è ALMACIVITA- ce la ricordavamo così, dove seppur introduci nuovi amici (con ben 30 minuti di ritardo) ti fanno sentire a casa. Un plauso allo chef e a tutti i ragazzi. Al prossimo JazzWinter2025 il nostro "appuntamento fisso". Grazie e Buon Anno
05/01/2025: Ottima esperienza. Abbiamo riscelto questo posto. Alessandra e Sergio bravissimi padroni di casa; lei che si scusava con tutti per la sua momentanea problematica agli occhi che l’ha costretta a stare in sala con gli occhiali. Uovo di Alma e ombrichelli ottimi. Bravi tutti, soprattutto lo chef, perché nonostante l’overtourism qui si respira ben altro. Buon anno!!

04/01/2025: Trattoria tipica situata proprio nel centro storico di Bagnoregio.
Propone piatti tipici della zona e c'è una discreta scelta di portate.
Personalmente consiglio l'antipasto misto da abbinare al crostone di cicoria saltata e la sorprendente chitarrina con pesto di nocciole, salvia e guanciale croccante.
Servizio veloce, proprietaria cortese e spesa media 25-30 euro a persona.
19/12/2024: Vera trattoria tipica con un servizio accorto, caldo e professionale. Il cibo eccezionale, a partire dall’ antipasto, bruschetta funghi porcini e lardo, meglio di così non si poteva iniziare si scioglieva in bocca.
I primi, pappardelle al cinghiale una favola e pici all’aglione dal gusto straordinario
Per secondo lo spezzatino di cinghiale morbidissimo e dal sapore equilibrato, una porzione di cicoria ottima condita con un olio eccezionale.
Giriamo moltissimo ma abbiamo poche volte mangiato così !
Conto onestissimo 70€, avremmo pagato anche 100€

08/01/2025: We have just spent 4 days at this farmhouse celebrating New Year's Eve with an excellent dinner and music. I would say it was a perfect stay, the place is very beautiful in a strategic position to visit the whole Tuscia area, the rooms
welcoming, well heated, daily cleaning service and many outdoor spaces including a swimming pool, certainly much appreciated in the summer.
The family that runs it is always present and solicitous for any need or information. Special thanks to Arianna for her kindness and to Francesca who takes excellent care of the cuisine.

06/01/2025: I stayed in this wonderful La Befana property with my partner and our 7 year old son, we booked the night before for the next day and the owners were immediately available to welcome us even before the check-in time. The farmhouse is an enchanting place, starting from the structure equipped with every comfort and attention to detail. The passion of the owners, Stella and Stefano and their daughters, can be seen in everything they do. Their welcome and friendliness can be felt right from the moment you arrive. The room we had booked was not yet ready, as we had arrived well in advance, but Stella immediately proposed an alternative solution by offering us to stay in a delightful two-room apartment. Furnished with great taste and very clean, warm and equipped with every comfort. Both beds very comfortable, choice of double pillow much appreciated.
In the evening we were given the opportunity to have a generous aperitif prepared by the chef, with platters of delicious local cured meats and cheeses, mozzarella, omelette, ricotta, chickpeas, gratin fennel, taralli, homemade jam, grapes, hazelnuts and walnuts. They let us find all these specialties inside the Club House fridge, a large room with tables and chairs, lounge, TV, board games. We accompanied everything with an excellent wine chosen from the menu offered by the farmhouse.
Truly a special evening spent as if we were at home, but pampered by the attention of Stella and her wonderful family. The icing on the cake was the breakfast, plentiful and full of home made products such as cakes, tarts and donuts, jams, honey and fruit, as well as cold cuts, cheeses and eggs. The view that can be seen from the window of the breakfast room contributes to the relaxation that the place offers. The structure is very large, there is a lot of care and passion on the part of the people who work inside it. They are the ones who make the difference, the farmhouse is precisely the reflection of the family that manages it. It was a real pleasure to meet them and listen to their experience. We will definitely come back to visit them, great for unplugging. Fantastic experience!

30/12/2024: Having just come out, I feel like sharing this experience. Excellent food, from the appetizers (I recommend the lard and the beans in an anchovy cream) to the first and second courses (the superlative pici with truffles or amatriciana and the pappardelle with wild boar), passing through the second courses and even the tiramisu. Friendly, quick staff and a truly welcoming atmosphere. Absolutely reasonable prices. Highly recommended!

02/01/2025: On Google it appears open at 7pm but they seated us at 7.30pm.
Asked for two high chairs for children, only one was available.
Ordered three pizzas honestly nothing special, mine also had the cheese crusted from too much cooking.
The side dish of broccoli taken for the children was inedible, too salty.
27/11/2024: After losing track of time in Civita Bagnoregio we were forced to eat in the city. We walked into the first open place we found and had a wonderful experience! Everything was very, very good, friendly staff and honest prices. Definitely coming back. What a lovely surprise!

16/11/2024: A special Sunday, visiting the dying city, but we arrive late and the pangs of hunger are felt
Quick look on social media, mmmmh, “Il Bocconcino”, in the name of omen?
a quick phone call and we manage to book, we will arrive at 2.00 pm, no problem, we are waiting for you
having arrived in Bagnoregio, after a quick reconnaissance tour I find a corner and park
the place is very nice, sober in its furnishings with tavern tables and chairs, the white tablecloths set crookedly, small but captivating
the menu is not the usual 10 pages, which means that attention is paid to seasonality, 4 first and 4 second courses, 2 vegetarian options, as well as 3 side vegetables, 4 also the choices of desserts
it's already late, so we speed up the order and taste the Cappuccino with truffle, egg, potatoes and crumbs together, in the meantime two croutons arrive as the house entrée, with sausage and livers, very nice and tasty
Then comes the cappuccino, beautifully presented, it looks like a real cappuccino, served in a large cup, very good with the egg that binds and amalgamates the flavors of the potatoes, the truffle and the crumbs give it that crunch that doesn't hurt
We also chose the first courses, I will take an off-menu first course which is intriguingly proposed to me by the waiter, fettuccine with ancient chicken giblets sauce and my wife ricotta and spinach gnocchi with roasted datterini tomatoes and crunchy chopped bacon
The pasta is strictly handmade and I discover with pleasure, finding the colurgionis and seadas on the menu that the eclectic Chef is Sardinian
The first courses are excellent, the fettuccine rich in grandmother's ancient flavours, full of rich meat sauce, fragrant and tasty with fifth quarter, my favorite
The soft and tasty gnocchi embellished with roasted datterini tomatoes and made precious in taste by the crunchy bacon made into grains
Even for the wine we refer to the flavors of Sardinia for which a pure white Vermentino Terre Fenicie, served cold in its glassette
The second courses arrive: a beautiful Angus enrecote with caramelized red Tropea onion, naturally rare, cooked to perfection, very tender and flattering with its caramelized onions and aubergine meatballs with roasted cherry tomato sauce and flavored with aromatic herbs, soft and tasty
Finally, how can you miss the Seadas in a Sardinian restaurant; mine with strawberry tree honey and my wife's with wildflower, both delicious, but the strawberry tree that I love gives it that extra boost
Big compliments to the Chef with whom we spoke at the time of the bill, very kind and nice

03/08/2024: Su consiglio richiesto alla titolare della struttura presso la quale abbiamo soggiornato di passaggio da Civita di Bagnoregio,abbiamo cenato a “La Cantina di Arianna”. Sin da subito l’impatto è stato positivo:personale estremamente preparato,cortese,gentile e accogliente.Il cliente viene sin dall’inizio assistito,seguito e messo a proprio agio.Location con sala interna molto caratteristica,tavoli all’aperto che danno sia sulla via che conduce alla piazza principale e altri dislocati in un interno cortile raccolto e suggestivo con le luci della sera.
Piatti realizzati con cura e attenzione oltre ai sapori veramente super. Nota di merito alla panzanella e al secondo di carne composto dalle puntarelle di maiale e la salsiccia grigliate con contorno di patate cotte nella cenere:cottura della carne eccezionale! La cicoria ripassata un must di queste zone,che non ha deluso le aspettative.
24/07/2024: Posto delizioso che si affaccia sulla piazzetta. Servizio gentile e veloce. Io sono celiaca e ho preso pollo e patate cotte alla cenere, posso dire stradelizioso, mio marito i picci buonissimi. Calice di vino delle cantine locali, davvvero un pranzo ottimo.

13/07/2024: In un primo momento ho dato una recensione positiva troppo affrettata su the fork. La mattina seguente ho notato che sullo scontrino c era una voce in più “VARI 14 euro “oltre al coperto e bevande. Praticamente mi ha fatto pagato esattamente il 20% di sconto che avevo su the fork. Morale gestori scorretti.

30/06/2024: Ristorante prenotato in vista di una visita a Civita e scelto per le sue recensioni e per l’ambiente.
Soddisfattisimi.
Cucina eccellente con piatti tipici della regione rivisitati benissimo, accoglienza e servizio da dieci e lode, interessante e affettuoso confronto con il titolare , persona piacevolissima.
Abbiamo preso vino al calice bianco, locale e devo dire molto buono ( e di vini modestamente me ne intendo visto che il nostro hobby preferito è girare per cantine).
Il pozzo dei desideri ha anche tavoli in esterno, ma io consiglio,laddove possibile, di mangiare all’interno delle sue meravigliose grotte di tufo, suggestivo ambiente ricercato e con un clima ideale.
Esperienza veramente piacevole.
02/06/2024: I had hoped to dine here on our one overnight in Civita, and they ended up being one of the only spots open that night. And it was just perfect. Very beautiful cave setting. Lovely lighting! The one waiter was really hopping, and a real joy to have serve us. Loved everything we had, and was authentic. Obviously it's all tourists as only 11 people live in town, but you'll love it!
