A simple but genuine place, like the dishes and the staff, food of a goodness that transcends time, flavors perhaps now forgotten that take you back to a past where gourmet did not exist but only the pleasure of munching on a plate of traditional Italian and Roman pasta. 13/07/2025: I went to Funghetto Matto on the recommendation of a friend, and I have to say it was a great choice! The place is small but cozy, with a family atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The service is excellent: Gianluca and Michela are very kind and make you feel right at home. I tried the gricia with truffle and a spectacular carbonara: generous portions and authentic flavors, just what you'd expect from a Roman trattoria. The tagliata was also excellent, perfectly cooked and very tender. The quality-price ratio is truly excellent. A simple but well-kept place, where you eat well and are welcomed with a smile. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tasty, no-frills dinner. My only advice: make a reservation.

09/06/2025: I only find the time today, Monday, to leave my review of the lunch I had with my wife on Saturday at this restaurant. I would like to start by saying that we found the quality of the dishes more than satisfactory, and we also really liked the atmosphere. As soon as we arrived, however, we immediately told the waitress that we had to avoid carbohydrates, which is quite easy to do in a fish restaurant. We ordered a trio of tartares as an appetizer. When it arrived, we noticed that the tuna tartare (one of the three) was served on a bed of potatoes. So to make sure, we asked the waitress if they were actually potatoes, even though we had already consumed the other two tartares in the meantime. The waitress very kindly told us that we were right, apologized, and told us that she would have it redone immediately. Shortly after, a new trio of tartares arrived, this time without potatoes with the tuna, but also with the other two tartares that we had already consumed in the first course. I pointed out to her that she could have changed just the tuna, but she told us not to worry. The rest of the lunch continues normally, very good grill. I pay the bill and leave. However, shortly after, I had a doubt, I checked the bill and noticed that I had been charged for both trios of tartare. Now it is not a question of money, and besides, it is not my habit to check the bill before paying it. However, if I had known that to change just one part of the dish (which, moreover, having specified the need, should have been advised against from the beginning due to the presence of potatoes), I would have had to pay for a second one in full, when it was the waitress herself who took our plate away to change it on her own initiative, I would have certainly told her to leave it alone, and maybe I would have ordered another dish. I would have preferred a little more clarity and attention. For the rest, I confirm my good impression.

20/05/2025: I stopped by on the fly and didn't have much time, I ate a first course with very fresh fish and I found a beautiful environment with super staff. It's true that nowadays one cannot invent a restaurateur, and when you eat at Officina del Pesce you realize that class is not water! Even with a simple first course. I also had a dessert, tiramisu, needless to say it was a dream! Compliments to the staff and owners who manage this marvel. Thank you, I will come back to visit you with much more calm.

09/06/2025: Unfortunately I have never written a review like this but I can't help but do it, we waited almost 50 minutes for our order, and in the end asking for information they replied that our order hadn't come out, there were 6/7 tables and even the people who sat down after us ate before us, it's unacceptable not so much that the order didn't come out (there could be a problem with the printers) but the waiters who were there at the restaurant, how can you not notice that the tables sat after us had already finished eating, unfortunately you will never see me again, I was with my son and you made me spend a disgusting evening, I will certainly advise anyone I know not to come to you, as I said at the beginning I have never written a review like this, I am disappointed and bitter

02/07/2025: Located in Collefiorito, it is definitely a point of reference as it offers numerous services, including a tobacconist and catering service. Excellent for breakfasts with its special croissants, I tried the Danish cream and black cherry, truly top, highly recommended. Possibility of parking in front of the restaurant and seating both inside and outside. Certainly also excellent for a lunch break or aperitif thanks to its pizza peels and much more. I have had the opportunity to try the catering several times which varies according to needs but I must say the products are of excellent quality, made at the moment and above all they arrive hot. The pizza peels are very good but also the fried foods such as: croquettes, supplì and Ascoli olives. The sandwiches and savory croissants are also excellent. Recommended

27/05/2025: Not being in the area we were looking for a place for a somewhat heavy aperitif. What can I say, it couldn't have gone better. Friendly, kind and helpful staff. They accommodated us on everything since there were 2 of us, including a vegetarian. More than fair value for money. The outdoor seating is very nice and the parking is very convenient. In short, everything is top. Thanks for everything.

12/03/2025: We stopped by for a beer on Saturday evening. It was almost closing time but the girl was very kind and let us sit. The place is very nice. The sofas and the showcase displaying rums, liqueurs, grappas are beautiful... We had a good time and compliments to the bartender, very nice! If we lived in the area we would definitely go for breakfast in the morning to start the day with a smile! :)
