01/02/2026: Excellent experience. Home-style cooking where they show you the dishes before bringing them to you, like the entrees. They're a couple, and the husband cooks. A few dishes, but very good. The hostess is extremely nice. We'll definitely be back.

06/01/2026: A preface to help understand some (few) negative reviews I've read: the restaurant owner doesn't observe any formality and welcomes you in a very informal manner, perhaps initially too "direct" (especially from the perspective of those who don't know her), but with an underlying kindness and thoughtfulness in recommending the best dishes of the day. That said, we arrived late and without a reservation, on a day before a holiday (when other restaurants would have said "the kitchen is closed"), but they made us two generous dishes with two types of meat (chicken and lamb) and two side dishes (chicory and potatoes). We ate very well and spent very little, so we were truly satisfied. A beautiful location in the center of town, in the summer on a quaint little square with a fountain and a wonderful lake view.

12/01/2026: A tiny restaurant nestled in the historic center of Castel di Tora, it proved not only a pleasant discovery but also a little gem. Five indoor tables seating up to 12 diners, an open kitchen, and simple yet high-quality cuisine. As the owner said, "Here we cook and drink only what we like!" Let me say, "Well done!" Keep it up. The dishes are well-balanced and rich in flavor, with carefully selected ingredients showcased throughout the preparation. The owners were delightful; the three of them managed to treat us to a delicious lunch in good company, welcoming us into their home. Restaurant is no easy feat, but here you'll find some top-notch talent. Congratulations.

12/10/2025: This is a lovely place on top of the hill with an amazing view and excellent food. It has an inside and outside seating space. Unfortunately, we were seating inside because we didn’t book in advance. I think the staff forgot about us for a while because it was very busy. But they were very apologetic and friendly. My suggestion is to book in advance, especially on weekends. Also perfect for a romantic sunset aperitivo!
