Iona Seafood is an innovative, young, and high-end restaurant, where seafood takes center stage, yet with a creativity that makes it unique. I tried the lobster sandwich: simply exquisite, balanced in flavor, and perfectly executed. The mackerel, prepared with great technique and originality, was a real discovery: an elaborate yet harmonious dish, truly exceptional. But the absolute highlight was the fried fish: incredibly abundant, crispy, light, and incredibly dry—a rare treat—and with a flavor that makes you want to order another immediately. The restaurant is modern, well-kept, and original, with a distinctive and refined feel. The idea of craft beers made in collaboration with them is wonderful: a detail that makes all the difference and demonstrates the passion and research behind it. The service was impeccable: the waiters were friendly, knowledgeable, and able to explain each dish with precision and enthusiasm, without ever being intrusive. The owners? A rarity: friendly, helpful, and with that genuine passion that makes you feel at home. Truly the best! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a different, tasty, and unique experience. I'll definitely be back!

10/08/2025: We had the best meal here during our vacation on Lake Garda. It's not a standard menu; try something different. The pumpkin tortelli is especially recommended! Be sure to order the meat and cheese platter as a starter.

10/08/2025: So I went out to eat with some friends and ordered a ravioli plate. It was extremely delicious, but very small if you're really hungry. The waiters were sweaty, but it didn't matter. My friend ordered a wine that was extremely small and didn't contain much. My friends' food was delivered about 5 minutes early, but that didn't matter because the restaurant had a nice atmosphere. I would eat there again!!! The tortellini were amazing!

03/09/2025: We want to add that two different friend groups recommended this restaurant. The food was extremely fresh, with a very good portion size. Mind you; the pasta sizes you see in the photos below is half a portion. The starters were great, very fresh and tasty. Everything was timed perfectly, with the chance for our daughter to eat first but also for us to enjoy the started with her. The wine selection is vast and very good prices. Everything is local, from the fish, the wines and the bread. We will come back for sure!!

19/08/2025: We only go here for the risottos. The only problem is that I can never get a second helping because they only serve each dish for a minimum of two people. In fact, I wanted to try the cacio e pepe risotto with orange-marinated red shrimp, and my companion had braised cheek and caramelized red onions, but we had to opt for the gorgonzola risotto with passito reduction and crispy onion, which combined our two tastes. My companion had the braised cheek as a main course with polenta, which was simply delicious. We only go there once a year on a motorcycle vacation, and we're always alone. I don't think I'll be able to try another risotto, so I'm sorry, but I might not go back. I think they could at least let each diner choose their favorite.

09/07/2025: The lobster is the main course. It's not to be taken for its toughness and blandness. Don't listen too much to the waiter's advice. The rest is delicious.

22/07/2025: We ate here for several days and tried many dishes on the menu. The food was delicious and high-quality, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. Whenever we return to Peschiera, Sosta e Gusta will always be a regular stop. Highly recommended and definitely worth a try!

21/07/2025: We had meat & cheese platter as starters for three persons, and as a main course we had seafood risotto for two and pasta carbonara for one. All of the dishes were great, especially seafood risotto. Also the service was excellent. Shame that we did not have chance to taste pizzas this time, but maybe next time then.

09/08/2025: Elegant atmosphere, uniformed staff, spaghetti allo scoglio, very fresh fish, excellent wait times. Fresh fish is displayed for you to choose from, grilled in plain sight. Dogs are welcome. Reasonable price.

17/08/2025: We discovered this restaurant-pizzeria on Google Maps and it was a lovely surprise. The pizza and pasta dishes are excellent, and the staff is very attentive. Prices are reasonable, and it's the perfect place for families or groups. If you eat on the terrace, they turn on the fans, which is a real plus in the summer. We'll be back! 👌

07/08/2025: We had a delicious pizza and the Aperol Spritz was super tasty, I've had it with different flavors before. The decor is a bit casual, but it's an affordable restaurant with friendly staff.

01/08/2025: There were four of us – two couples aged 27 to 30. The AI recommended this restaurant to us for dinner as an insider tip – a place that's also popular with the locals. We couldn't agree more! The staff was extremely accommodating, and the food was excellent. When a thunderstorm rolled in at the end of the evening, the staff volunteered to bring us an umbrella and escort us to our car. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts and recommend this place to everyone. Best regards from Switzerland!

31/08/2025: We were honestly amazed by the value for money. The lake fish dishes were very good and reasonably priced. I recommend the lake fish appetizer and the tagliolini with tench.

24/07/2025: Very busy and noisy. The meat isn't always the best quality. In short, the price-quality ratio is a bit off.

22/07/2025: As guests at this restaurant, we were treated with a complete lack of respect and consideration. Despite having empty tables available, the staff refused to accommodate our larger group by arranging tables together or offering any alternative solution. When we requested assistance, we were dismissively told to simply wait in the shade, and this response was delivered in an extremely disrespectful and unprofessional manner. Due to this unacceptable treatment, we decided to leave and dine elsewhere rather than support an establishment that shows such disregard for its customers.

20/07/2025: Ein tolles und sehr gemütliches Restaurant mitten in Peschiera mit sehr leckerem Essen, nettem Personal und guten Preisen. Die Portionen sind groß, der Service ist zügig und sehr freundlich und man sitzt sehr romantisch mitten in der Stadt. Wir waren 2 x hier und kommen gerne wieder!

21/08/2025: The pasta was delicious, we ordered more dishes apart from these but they were all 10/10. The only problem was the delay, it took them an hour to serve us, that definitely needs to be improved.

15/07/2025: pistachio was great, all the rest - just ok. cheap (3scoops for 4€ and 5 for brioche). however, they did not give us whipped cream with the brioche, when we realized and asked for it- they 'couldn't' because we started eating and they cant touch the eaten food with the spoon (?!).Kids very disappointed. decent thing would be to give us whipped cream in a cup or sth in this case😳
