28/09/2025: First of all, I would like to emphasize that our stay was truly outstanding in many ways. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the food was of a very high standard – much of it from the farm's own production – and the wine selection left nothing to be desired. The ambiance was tasteful, the pool area very well-maintained, and the staff and owners were friendly and accommodating. It was a place where you could feel at home. But despite all these positive impressions, I personally only give it one star – and for a very sad reason: the treatment of the animals on the premises. The conditions in which the dogs are kept there shocked me deeply. I shed tears at the sight of the injured, sometimes neglected animals. The kennels were far too small, filthy with feces, and lacked any form of activity or retreat. Flies were gathering on open wounds. The Samoyeds appeared unkempt; their fur was matted, and their body language expressed a longing for touch. There was no shade at all – the animals desperately tried to cool themselves by digging in the earth, injuring their snouts in the process. The two Bernese Mountain Dogs also appeared apathetic – they lay motionless by the fence, also searching for shade. The horses stood in small, muddy pens without grass or sun protection, exposed to the blazing midday heat. I tried to speak with the owner, hoping for some understanding or even insight. Her response: The veterinarian was regularly on site and everything was fine. But my impression was completely different – ​​I saw animals that were suffering, that appeared physically and emotionally neglected. I would like to emphasize that I am not accusing the people there of any malicious intent. Rather, I believe there is a fundamental misunderstanding of what constitutes species-appropriate animal husbandry. But especially in a business that places such great value on quality, sustainability, and enjoyment, one cannot turn a blind eye to the treatment of animals. I sincerely hope that the conditions for these tortured souls will improve. True hospitality is not only evident in the way we treat people, but also in the respectful treatment of animals.

22/09/2025: Fantastic place... It's a farmhouse... They have lots of animals, and it's perfect for children... They can run and play without any danger... They also breed Samoyed dogs, and they are beautiful... You can eat, by making a reservation, and they also have rooms... If you want to celebrate in any way, it's the ideal place... And the panoramic view is spectacular... There's also a swimming pool with a large garden...

31/08/2025: Giovanni will treat you as a friend. Everyone at villas Abbazia is pure kindness. The location was a wonderful place to take day trips from. If you are here to learn about prosecco, then stay here.

23/08/2025: It’s rare to find a hotel that truly ticks every box—lovely location, beautiful rooms, excellent food, and impeccable service, oh and dog friendly too—but Villa Abbazia does exactly that. Nestled in one of the most charming villages along the Prosecco wine route, this Relais & Châteaux property far exceeded our expectations with its exceptional warmth and hospitality. Our stay was full of thoughtful gestures - like setting up a table in their beautiful garden so our dog could join us for breakfast—without us even asking. Both of their restaurants are outstanding, and the Michelin-starred La Corte is an experience not to be missed. Thank you Villa Abbazia team for a wonderful stay, we will be back!
