18/06/2025: We were here yesterday with four colleagues and we had a great time. The staff was super helpful and welcoming, the owner (presumably the gentleman who welcomed us) was really friendly. Pleasant atmosphere and excellent food. Recommended!
14/06/2025: The price/performance ratio at this restaurant is good. The quality of the individual dishes varies. It would be wrong to expect that a restaurant with reasonable prices can use the most expensive ingredients. From that perspective, you get good food at a fair price. And from that perspective, I recommend the restaurant, also because it offers a wide selection. Whether you're in a group or a large family, everyone will find something to their liking. The only disappointment on this visit was the Aperol Spritz; it barely had any ice in it. Even after ordering ice cream twice, the ice cubes were so small that they melted immediately.
The staff were all friendly and helpful. If I return to Este, I will visit the restaurant again.

10/06/2025: Amazing family ran restaurant. Very family friendly, we were there with out two year old and they loved having her there. They assisted us with bringing out our toddlers food quickly so she wouldn't have a hanger meltdown. We had the appetizer coccoli con prosciutto crudo and stracchino that is the fried pizza though, cheese and prosciutto! It is a must have, we were tempted to order a second one. The spaghetti alla carbonara was delicious, my in-laws had the lasagna (amazing) nd the pasta e funghii which was really good as well. My husband had the fagottini formaggio e pere, which for me was the best dish aside from the appetizer. It really was a hidden gem and we are happy that we stumbled across this place while looking to have dinner.

30/04/2025: A pearl found by chance.
We were returning from the Euganean Hills on April 25th and found this restaurant by searching on Google.
We stopped in this pearl managed by a girl who is very knowledgeable about wines and at the entrance we found her mother having lunch and she told us that the jarfiniera is made by her (she even explained the whole process with the blast chiller etc.).
However, we ate divinely: Vicenza-style cod, a platter of the right amount for two people with truly excellent cheeses and cured meats and obviously the giardiniera, a plate of bigoli with duck ragù.
To conclude, a particular biscuit made by them whose name I don't remember, really good with a good coffee.
Absolutely justified value for money, but above all an environment with a touch of personality certainly given by the creativity of the girl who manages it.
We add that we were with our dog, therefore kind also in this sense and we say goodbye to the three cats who act as reception at the entrance :-)
Congratulations indeed, these are the places you always want to find when you go around.

30/04/2025: I find it anomalous to say the least in a place that calls itself a "tavern", but which doesn't have bulk wine available. In an area, among other things, (the Euganean hills), where there is a winery that produces wine practically every km. And even more anomalous is the fact that it doesn't even have a wine list. And be careful when asking! The owner might resent you and reply (as happened to me) "I'm the wine list!". If you then order a first course and ask if they can bring you some parmesan, the answer will be that it is already there. And then you have to insist, so in the end they bring it to you. Snorting, but they bring it to you. And as if that wasn't enough, you eat like in a restaurant, with a placemat and paper napkin, but you pay like in a restaurant. And what's more, you are treated badly and with disdain. Honestly, I'm surprised it's still open.

22/06/2025: I came in with high heels early in the morning because I was away in the evening and I only had these and they looked me up and down from the entrance and they even served me the cappuccino by slamming it on the table, but we are outside I am customers treat me well and serve me with a smile. mutual respect regardless of how I am dressed

06/04/2025: Sono stata a pranzo in questo ristorante insieme al mio fidanzato e siamo rimasti davvero colpiti. Si mangia benissimo, ogni piatto era curato nei minimi dettagli e si sentiva la qualità delle materie prime.
Un plauso speciale va al proprietario, una persona estremamente educata, accogliente e cordiale. Ci ha fatti sentire subito a nostro agio con il suo sorriso e la sua disponibilità. Si vede che conosce perfettamente il suo lavoro e lo fa con grande passione: ci ha consigliato con attenzione e ha saputo raccontarci con entusiasmo i piatti del giorno.
È stata un’esperienza davvero piacevole, torneremo sicuramente!

Agriturismo Alla Fonte

05/04/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo agriturismo in un weekend. Posto sobrio ma ben curato, con una bella vista e giardino per bambini.
Cucina semplice ma di buona qualità, sia per i primi che per i secondi, in particolare ben fatta la carne alla brace (che per quanto possa sembrare cosa da poco, non è da tutti saperla cucinare al punto giusto). Buonissimi i dolci preparati come in casa.
Sicuramente da ritornarci, anche per l'onestà dei prezzi e l'ambiente cordiale e familiare.
23/03/2025: Siamo stati in questo agriturismo in occasione di una visita ai colli Euganei e abbiamo prenotato per la cena.
Questo ristorante rispecchia perfettamente il genere di ristorazione dell'agriturismo. E' una cucina casalinga gestita da due fratelli, che fanno sentire gli ospiti a casa, che propone primi di pasta fresca di ottima qualità e come secondi diverse tipologie di carne alla griglia; buonissimi anche i contorni e gli antipasti.
Come primo abbiamo assaggiato sia la pasta condita con il ragù di anatra, che quella con sugo radicchio e speck.
Come secondo abbiamo ordinato salsiccia e pancetta alla griglia con contorno di cipolle e carciofi.
Più che ottimo rapporto qualità-prezzo.
Una piacevole sorpresa in una splendida località con un bellissimo panorama sulla città.

18/11/2024: Ci siamo trovati per una serata tra amici e siamo stati proprio bene. Il posto è tranquillo ed informale, ideale per rilassarsi e mettersi a proprio agio per una serata tra chiacchiere e risate.
Plauso al personale: Ancilla ha saputo consigliarci bene cosa prendere, sempre disponibile e con il sorriso.
Tutte le pietanze erano buone e consiglio particolarmente i dolci preparati dalla casa, mi hanno lasciato un dolce ricordo.
Ne siamo usciti molto sazi ed abbiamo speso sorprendentemente poco. La scusa di non uscire di casa perchè ormai è tutto troppo caro, qui NON vale.

21/08/2023: Buono il gelato, per questo quando passiamo per Este ci fermiamo sempre. Devo constatare però che da inizio estate i prezzi sono aumentati e la quantità di gelato nei coni ridotta..insomma, inversamente proporzionale.. delusa.
