10/04/2025: My wife and I had one of the most wonderful dining experience at Ristorante Al Lumin last night. From the moment we stepped inside, we were enveloped in a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The service was truly exceptional, thanks to the incredibly kind lady who looked after us. We suspect she might be the owner, and if so, her passion for the restaurant truly shines through.
But let's talk about the food – simply divine! My wife started with the duck liver sandwich, which was an absolute revelation. For main course, I had the laser-cut Angus tagliata, and the presentation alone was a work of art. The beef was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and bursting with flavor.
For dolci we indulged in the chocolate fondante. Oh my goodness! It was warm, gooey chocolate heaven that melted in our mouths. It was the perfect sweet ending to an already outstanding meal.
Ristorante Al Lumin is a true culinary gem hidden in the Dolomites. Highly, highly recommended!

26/10/2025: I had lunch here and I have to say it was excellent! Delicious, carefully prepared, and generous dishes, with fresh ingredients and authentic flavors. The staff is truly kind, welcoming, and very professional. I absolutely recommend this restaurant to anyone in Lecce; it was a pleasant and quality experience in every way!

20/09/2025: The pizza was excellent, but the price was a bit high. The waiters were friendly, but the cashier was a bit rushed.
I didn't appreciate the joke on the menu about vegans!

08/09/2025: Unfortunately we arrived on the last day of closure, the refuge with a view of the Civetta was beautiful, the Sacher and the strudel were good
04/09/2025: We had lunch at this refuge, and the grilled venison fillet and venison ribeye were excellent. The view of the Civetta was spectacular.

14/09/2025: We had pork ribs with BBQ sauce, polenta, and mushrooms, served in an old-fashioned aluminum pan...spectacular!!! We'll definitely be back. Highly recommended!!!
19/08/2025: Negative experience. Can we complain about the undercooked food? Apparently not. The chef comes out to explain that he cooks it this way (c.b.t.) and that we should respect his work. We just wanted the ribs to be cooked more. We didn't attack anyone, much less show any disrespect.
Too accustomed to all the mountain huts in the area, where kindness and good food are the order of the day, this was our only negative experience.
I recommend clearly writing the cooking method on the menu and, above all, limiting the chef's public relations efforts. He ruined our experience, and I think the experience of the diners around us, with an inappropriate outburst, loudly, and in an overly aggressive tone.
We understand that overtourism is creating stress for everyone, but we didn't expect this.
"Casot," in the dialect of the land of "bacari," is also synonymous with mess, or "casket": Nomen-omen.

14/06/2025: Menù a prezzo fisso 30.00 euro che non viene comunicato al momento della prenotazione telefonica. Arrivati in loco l'oste porta in tavola quattro ciotole senza averci spiegato di che cosa si tratti e farfugliando qualcosa tipo " questo c'è e questo si mangia".
Qualità del cibo scarsissima ed inoltre si può pagare solo in contanti ( I titolari hanno esposto un cartello dove è scritto che "SI ACCETTANO SOLO CONTANTI"!!!)

11/03/2025: Congratulations on a triple record breaking gulash. First it was the slowest gulash ever, 32 minutes from ordering to arriving. Second record goes to it being the most expensive gulash ever, even by dolomites prices. 3rd record is that it was the most tasteless and most reheated gulash ever, look at the photo and you will see the meat is completely hard on the surface, it was like trying to eat old boots. Those last pieces we gave up on. I showed it to them and in fact would have sent it back uneaten but then how long for something else to come ( the people before us ordered pasta and they were still waiting 10 minutes after us). Lastly, when ordering we were asked fries or polenta and chose the first option but it arrived with the second (in fact half the orders seemed to be wrong) but they then were good enough to correct this by adding a portion of fries. We wish they hadn't as to top it all off the fries were cooked in old old oil leaving a feeling of nausea after just a few. In 17 years l live here this was by far the worst thing I've ever been served anywhere in the Alps.

23/07/2025: Ci siamo fermati domenica di passaggio... 3 panini. Grandezze tipo un panino arabo... La soppressa 3 mini fette e la sottiletta di formaggio era talmente sottile che si è fusa nel pane quindi non si sentiva nemmeno il gusto..serviti con una decina di patatine fritte e due cucchiaini di salsa... 1 bottiglia di plastica di acqua frizzante.. servita con bicchieri di plastica... Null'altro...al prezzo di euro 51,00 ... proprio cinquantuno...in conto anche 1,50 x 3 di coperto.... E simpatia e cortesia... Zero.. veramente una brutta esperienza....
Premetto che non ho mai scritto una recensione... Ma qui ci vuole proprio...
