27/08/2025: I had pizza here, and I have to say it was delicious, very thin, and the appetizers were also good. I recommend the fried mozzarella and Ascoli olives. For the rest, the staff was very kind, a special shout out to Simona. 4 of us ate, we had 4 appetizers, 4 pizzas, and a beer. Let's say the cost was about 20 euros per person. I recommend it for pizza, but I can't comment on the food because I haven't tried it. Ciao everyone, and enjoy your meal! 🧡❤️

05/05/2025: With my family we spent four days in this WONDERFUL farmhouse nestled in the hills of Umbria. We had such a good time that we plan to return. Very kind owners. The cuisine is excellent at both breakfast and dinner, the latter absolutely worth trying. Although the location may seem out of the way, it is very convenient for visiting the region. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

20/08/2025: The place is clean and meticulously cared for. Both the interior and the outdoor veranda are beautiful. The atmosphere is lovely. The table settings are refined without being overly elaborate. The cuisine is equally refined. Some dishes, though not overly elaborate in themselves, are meticulously crafted and retain the flavor of their simple ingredients. There are few over-the-top or heavy-handed condiments. I really love this light touch in the kitchen, and it's not easy to find it. Even the menu, presented on a handwritten sheet of paper, is a touch of thoughtfulness in its simplicity that I appreciated. It's much more inviting than a printed A4. Complexity is overrated: the difficult thing is to simplify.
30/07/2025: "Assaggi&Beccofino: a trendy place... but with a few off-key notes."
Last night I dined with two friends at Assaggi&Beccofino in Mogliano Veneto, a decidedly trendy and popular place. The atmosphere is refined and the food is decent, although—as a vegetarian—I had to make do with the embarrassment of choice: two non-meat first courses! (And I swear it wasn't a tasting menu.)
But the real "house specialty" came when we ordered, when the owner—clearly more experienced in cabaret than in restaurants—thought it was a good idea to introduce himself with this gem:
"My name and surname, I'm 55, single, and always in the mood," he said, winking at one of my friends.
Now, I understand the desire to impress, but a little less so the choice between a tagliolini and a glass of wine.
The result? A surreal scene that made us feel more like we were at a lame karaoke night than a fine restaurant.
Professionalism should be the appetizer of every experience, and when it's missing, even the best dish loses its flavor.
It's a shame, because with a little good taste (in the dining room, not just in the kitchen), it would have been a decidedly more enjoyable evening.

17/08/2025: We wandered in by chance, but were pleasantly surprised. The portions were good and generous. We tried cured meats and cheeses, truffle gnocchi, spaghetti carbonara, strozzapreti all'amatriciana, biscio (a kind of fish) and tiramisu.
Friendly staff. Quick service. Reasonable bill.

14/04/2025: Che dire, ristorante piazza grande è una garanzia, ottima scelta tra antipasti, primi e secondi. Ogni volta è un piacere tornarci. Ti riceve sempre il titolare Stefano che sa consigliare anche sui piatti fuori menù. Locale piccolo e accogliente che si affaccia sulla bellissima piazza adiacente. Tornerò sicuramente. Bravi

La Taverna de Cinicchia

03/03/2025: Stati a distanza di poche settimane, dopo aver degustato ottimi primi e secondi, la pizza è stata abbastanza deludente.
Molto "fogliosa", poco cotta, e con strane "bolle" (allego foto).
Sicuramente torneremo per mangiare la crescia e gli altri piatti, non per la pizza.
29/12/2024: Dans le cadre enchanté des montagnes de l'appenin entre l'Ombrie et les Marches, la Taverna de Cinicchia est depuis très longtemps le temple de la gastronomie et maintenant le lieu de recherche et fabrication de chocolats de Monsieur Vincenzo Laloni. Un vrai délice !!!
Nella cornice incantata delle montagne dell'appennino umbro-marchigiano, sull'Alago, la Taverna di Cinicchia si distingue da decenni per la sua gastronomia e ora anche per i suoi cioccolatini, originale produzione artigianale del signor Vincenzo Laloni. Provare per credere!

Ristorante dell'Agriturismo La Costa

10/03/2025: The restaurant is very basic, if you are lucky enough to sit in front of the fireplace you will be comfortable otherwise you would be better off bringing a scarf to keep on even during dinner because it is very cold. I have been their customer 3 times because the food is good, but on the fourth time I was kicked out (me and my group) because "we don't want you because you were rude, you broke our asses all evening, you were there until 11.30pm and you never left, always with the harsh jokes". Now, I would understand if we had behaved badly or otherwise, but in the more than 40 years that we have been going to restaurants in the area and beyond, something like this has never happened to us. According to the managers, we were rude because we asked for a little more ragù on the tagliatelle (since they were almost blank, contrary to what was written on the menu), ragù which was deliberately brought once we had already finished the meal, and because being during the carnival period we had asked if they had made castagnole for dessert... they replied no, so when ordering the dessert we asked for castagnole jokingly, already knowing that they didn't have them. Apparently this was the heavy joke. Some people shouldn't be in the public eye!
09/03/2025: Sono stato con degli amici un sabato sera a cena nel mese dì febbraio. Il cibo era buono però per le tagliatelle abbiamo richiesto un po di ragù a parte. Al momento del dolce essendo il periodo di carnevale abbiamo richiesto delle castagnole, non c'erano, quindi scherzando abbiamo insistito un paio di volte nella ns richiesta. A fine serata avendo fatto conoscenza col tavolo dei vicini ci siamo trattenuti a parlare fino le 23.30 tutto sommato una serata piacevole. Decidiamo di ritornare a cena per la festa della donna ma giovedì sera invece di prenotare siamo stati aggrediti da una serie di insulti con parole irripetibili rinfacciandoci la richiesta del ragù, delle castagnole e di esserci trattenuti fino le 23.30. Siamo rimasti senza parole

03/01/2025: di passaggio mi sono fermato qui per cenare ...diciamo che sono stato ingannato dalle recensioni positive ...ma la ns cena è stata pessima...forse il risultato di avanzi del cenone di capodanno o del primo dell'anno...ma sia gli antipasti che la carne erano immangiabili...conosco bene lìarte culinaria umbra e sono rimasto doppiamente male..
10/11/2024: Siamo stati una sera di fine ottobre in questo agriturismo dove avevamo prenotato per cena. Bella location, molto accogliente. Servizio simpatico e attento. Grande varietà di antipasti veramente buoni e abbondanti. Abbiamo poi optato per un paio di primi e non siamo riusciti ad arrivare ai secondi, perchè veramente sazi e per lasciar spazio al dolce (buonissimo anch'esso).

Birreria pizzeria Porta Vecchia

08/08/2023: Il posto ideale per godersi un cappuccino e assaggiare i cornetti artigianali, la rocciata eccellente, e le nuvole una novità golosissima. Vado spesso in questo a Porta Vecchia per lavorare in Smart working comodamente da uno dei tavoli posizionati sui giardini della piazza centrale.
Buonissima anche la pizza e il gelato.
