We wandered in by chance, but were pleasantly surprised. The portions were good and generous. We tried cured meats and cheeses, truffle gnocchi, spaghetti carbonara, strozzapreti all'amatriciana, biscio (a kind of fish) and tiramisu. Friendly staff. Quick service. Reasonable bill. Congratulations!

On particularly crowded days or at a slightly later time, not all dishes are available, but in any case everything is very good, especially the strangozzi and the crescia.

20/06/2026: We stopped at Caffè Sandri for coffee and refreshments while exploring Perugia and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The interior is absolutely stunning, full of historic charm and elegant details. The terrace sits right in the heart of the city’s main pedestrian and shopping area, making it a perfect spot for people watching. It can get quite busy at times, which is no surprise given its excellent location and popularity. A wonderful place to take a break and soak up the atmosphere of Perugia.

17/04/2026: Restaurant located in a beautiful Umbrian village. Marco and Sergio, the wonderful owners, welcomed us into their restaurant and made us feel right at home. Traditional food, a location with prestigious tables, excellent pizza, an AIC restaurant. A must-try for us.
