07/03/2026: Restaurant: A wonderful experience in a beautiful location. The food was excellent. The service was very good, with no rush to clear a table.
The bill was a bit high, but it's manageable every once in a while.
I was 10 minutes late and called politely, but they told me not to worry. I was then greeted with kindness and a smile. Reservations recommended.
Bar Service: I've been a few times for the bar service during the ski season. It's on the slopes, and it's always packed, so there's a queue. Like all places like this, it's beautiful and the food is good.
In the summer, it's less crowded; the outside is beautiful.

10/09/2025: Followed the access road from Val Noana. A steady climb, with sometimes challenging but never impossible sections. The route near the waterfall (a spring of very fresh water) is fantastic, where the road follows a section carved into the rock. Read the explanatory signs! Arrival at the refuge in an idyllic setting amidst flat meadows and dense surrounding woods. A warm welcome awaits. Excellent menu (a trio of delicious dumplings and spätzle) enjoyed at outdoor tables. Prices more than match the setting. Before setting off, weather permitting, sit outside, overlooking the valley's sunny meadows, sip a glass of herbal grappa and... meditate!

The staff was always super professional, kind, and friendly.
The food was excellent. The place was spotlessly clean throughout.
24/01/2026: I stayed with my family, my brother, and our niece, unfortunately only for one night. We were assigned a suite with a private sauna. It was spotless, the furnishings and comfort were beyond top-notch. The dinner was very good, the only thing that dampened our enthusiasm a bit. The group was a bit lackluster, and there weren't many alternatives, but overall we made it. However, given the setting and the high quality of the place, I think they have a lot of room for improvement in this regard. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

24/01/2026: A cozy pizzeria in the center of San Martino. The staff is friendly and offered us a complimentary amaro. The pizza is good, and there's a wide selection.

01/03/2026: Never, never ever order here the tourist scam - “the plate of local speck and cheese” for 17€, it’s the cheapest supermarket prosciutto and pieces of cheap edam cheese 😂. And they are not ashamed of it at all.

The staff is very attentive and extremely kind.
The wine selection from the cellar satisfies all palates!
Highly recommended
(We didn't eat, just drank a few glasses).

02/03/2026: A dear friend introduced me to this hotel for lunch. The place is meticulously maintained; the owner, Claudio, is incredibly kind. The waitresses are attentive and extremely kind. The dishes are refined and made with excellent ingredients. In short, quality, cleanliness, and a fantastic location. Dining with a view of Cimon della Pala is certainly a memorable experience. I really hope to return soon. My warmest congratulations!

20/02/2026: If you should eat somewhere in San Martino di Castrozza, choose this place. The best restaurant in the town. Rather make a reservation for the dinner, lunch is ok without it. The staff is extremely nice, welcoming and friendly - they are great with kids. The pizza was tasty, meat as well and the desserts were amazing.

Not a smile, not a single peanut/chip/olive...zero, along with the prosecco...but for the Germans, yes 😅

12/03/2026: Fantastic experience thanks to Nicole, who looked after us for the evening. She was very attentive and friendly. She helped us with the menu and explained the different dishes, so we understood what we were ordering. We learned a lot about the local area. Nicole made our first evening in st martino really special! The food was also delicious and the wine was some of the best we've had.

04/03/2026: The ambiance is from the 80s, the spacious place has a pleasant atmosphere. We were warmly welcomed. There are no vegan meals on offer, but there are vegetarian ones. Out of the 9 members of the company, 2 had digestive problems after eating.
03/03/2026: A beautiful spot, slightly off the beaten path. A cozy place to sit, with pleasant music and excellent food – highly recommended for all visitors to San Martino di Castrozza. We'll definitely be back.
