07/09/2025: Best tagliatta di manzo in town so far. Pizza also very good. We like the food, restaurant and staff, but we picked the wrong night to eat because there was a large party on the two tables next to us that meant we needed ear defenders (very nice ceiling and great acoustics). One family came in and the bloke stuffed a serviette into his ears. Sorry no pictures. We drank until our ears became accustomed to the noise. If you like good food you must go 😀

24/07/2025: A little gem nestled in the heart of the Dolomites. This hotel with spa and relaxation area is a must-see. It's strategically located, just steps away from two ski lifts: one leads to Col Rondella and the other to the Pordoi Pass, the Belvedere, and much more. It's possible to enjoy any type of walk or hike, from the most leisurely to the most challenging. I always recommend appropriate clothing. There are many activities available, including hiking, biking, and hang-gliding. I recommend asking at reception; they can provide you with plenty of detailed information, including daily activities. As soon as you enter, the warmth of the wood, the attention to detail, and the smiles of the owners and staff welcome you and make you feel welcomed. There are both indoor and outdoor tables. The traditional dishes are truly excellent; I was amazed by the abundance and variety of breakfast and the appetizer buffet in the evening. It's truly so much to choose from, just look at the photos. Kudos to all the staff, from the cleaning lady to the spa beautician, the bartender, and the waiter—all super courteous, kind, and always smiling. The rooms and bathroom are excellent. The wellness spa area features a pool with various hydromassage areas, three types of saunas, various showers, and relaxation areas, including waterbeds. Beauty treatments are available upon reservation. You can bring your dog, with a designated area for them and an elevator. Fair prices. Ample outdoor parking. I highly recommend it.

09/09/2025: What can I say? I'd go back a thousand times. It's a super welcoming and family-friendly place, excellent value for money. I definitely recommend trying the traditional dishes. One dinner was enough for me to fall in love with your waitress, haha—she's beautiful, witty, and professional.

31/07/2025: Nella confusione estiva del passo sella basta lasciare il sentiero principale e dopo cinque minuti ci si ritrova in un oasi di tranquillità con un panorama di tutto rispetto, abbiamo mangiato bene con un servizio un po' lento ma cortese per dei piatti di qualità e di buona quantità.prezzo nella norma di queste parti ( mai economico).

25/08/2025: The best pizza in Canazei, hands down! The staff is very friendly and always available. The restaurant, in typical mountain style, is welcoming and spacious. The prices are fair, especially considering the Canazei area.

21/08/2025: Restaurant 5 minutes walk from the center of Canazei. Very nice interior, while the outside area where we ate is very ordinary. We had the pizza, really good... Congratulations 👍 Fair price.

21/08/2025: A truly excellent experience at the property! As someone who works in the tourism industry, I can say I'm satisfied with both the property itself and the location. From the room I was assigned, I was fortunate enough to have a view of both the Sasso Piatto and the Sasso Lungo mountains, which in itself is priceless. The service has always been excellent, from housekeeping to reception to catering, as well as the quality of the dinners and breakfast. Recommended!

24/04/2025: Settimana Bianca con gli amici, prenotiamo in questo ristorante e mai scelta fu più azzeccata, a partire dal locale tipico molto carino con un affettatrice berkel favolosa, prodotti nostrani appesi,una goduria alla vista. Ordino un piatto di fettuccine al capriolo con riduzione di frutti di bosco, strepitosi è dire poco, anche i miei amici soddisfattissimi di tutti i piatti. Personale gentile e simpatico. Tornerò sicuramente e lo consiglierò.

20/08/2025: We had dinner at this osteria. The reviews didn't suggest we'd be sharing a table with others. The food was very good, with normal portions, but the prices were too high. The staff were super kind and friendly.

21/08/2025: I returned after nine years, and I must say it left a bitter taste in my mouth. They renovated the restaurant, and in my opinion, it's lost that sense of warmth that these mountain places usually convey. The cuisine has also changed, with a modern twist. For example, orecchiette with clams and mushrooms. In short, it's Milanese cuisine, not Canazei, and in winter, I hope the portions are for energy recovery, not for tasting. The staff is friendly, a little inexperienced. They definitely don't have the attention you expect from a 4-star superior hotel. The room was clean—I stayed in a junior deluxe—and spacious, with a huge bathroom with a window. I would only recommend a few more hangers for bathrobes and for the winter, and a few more hooks for hanging clothes. Oh, and I forgot, the closet is really small. I didn't have a bad experience; I want to encourage them to improve a little on the attention to detail, which, I repeat, 4-star hotels deserve. The spa in the basement is truly superb, and the pool is almost Olympic-sized. The location is excellent! 10 meters from the Belvedere ski lift and 50 meters from the town center.

17/08/2025: The Pareda Hotel is located right next to the Belvedere cable car (therefore right in the center and in an excellent location, especially for skiing). It's a clean and comfortable hotel, with a more than decent wellness area. I stayed in a spacious Deluxe Traditional room with two terraces. So far, it was in keeping with the hotel's 4-star rating and would have fully met my expectations. But now comes the weak point...or rather, the embarrassing one. Upon arrival, we were told that the dinner menu is à la carte, so we choose our dishes on the spot. The following are always offered: 1 meat 1 fish 1 vegetarian. The vegetable buffet consists of 5/6 bowls of vegetables (always the same): tomato, lettuce, carrots, corn. There is no cooked vegetables (not even boiled potatoes) except, a couple of evenings, a meager platter of grilled zucchini. The menus are inspired by MasterChef, but they don't quite live up to it. Bread, which is available in baskets for breakfast in the morning, is brought to the table in a meager basket in the evening. It contains: half a rosetta (half!!), two slices of brown bread, and four or five "Bibanesi" (small, rounded breadsticks, for those unfamiliar with them). When I asked for more white bread, I was told they didn't have any. The second time, they brought me two more slices of brown bread. Salt (which is missing from every dish...perhaps they're concerned about the customer's health) has to be requested every time, as it's not on the table. The cuisine is, at the very least, "alternative." Dishes have little or nothing to do with local cuisine, but above all, the emphasis is on presentation (flavor and quantity are secondary). One evening, I asked for two scrambled eggs or some cold cuts instead of the usual offerings. I was told it wasn't possible due to an unspecified kitchen policy (I've never asked for such a simple alternative and been refused, not even... remember, we're talking about a 4-star hotel). The next evening, after yet another presentation of a completely charred dish, I decided to cancel my half-board and not dine at the hotel again. Management, completely inattentive to this problem, which was left to Mrs. Lara (a caring and capable person), let me know they'd give me a credit for the last dinner, which I hadn't eaten, so... thank goodness. I wasn't able to express my complaints to the owners (who were present, but apparently only in case there was praise to be had), but I politely pointed out to Lara that a hotel with such high potential and top-notch services should definitely reconsider this aspect of its catering, which is seriously penalizing it. I should point out that I stayed for 14 days, so I could also see the disappointment of other guests who had come and gone. The dining room staff was courteous and did their best to "patch up" these unpleasant situations.
