Ristorante dell'Hotel Gerstgras

02/10/2025: I was last here in 2011. Since then, it has undergone extensive renovations, but the balance between tradition and modernity hasn't been completely achieved.
Nevertheless, it's a good hotel with first-class service and good cuisine in a wonderful setting, albeit in a remote location.
01/09/2025: We had a wonderful stay at this hotel at the end of August, two families with teenage children. The hotel has everything you need: a pool, a hot tub, and a lovely spa. The breakfast was good and complete, as was the dinner, with good quality and variety. The staff was helpful. There's also a games area with ping pong, billiards, and foosball. Comfortable beds, quiet rooms. The only reason I didn't give the room 5 stars is the lack of a bidet, which, given the hotel's recent renovation and the spacious bathroom...it wasn't a bad thing...since a bidet is a VERY USEFUL feature! Otherwise, everything was perfect.

19/09/2025: Very unfriendly service. The way they treat guests with dogs is truly appalling. At the next alpine hut, they'll receive friendly service, and their dog will be welcome.

27/08/2025: We ate wonderfully: tagliatelle with venison ragù, tagliatelle with fir pesto, and out-of-this-world porcini dumplings!
Compliments to the chef and the service.
Highly recommended!

20/04/2025: Ci siamo imbattuti in questo ristorante durante una passeggiata e subito attratti e dal posto e dai profumi che emanava abbiamo prenotato per cena...posto molto carino caldo e accogliente...abbiamo gustato un'ottima crema di castagne con formaggio fuso, un piatto di oasta val senales con ragù di agnello...e un arrosto di agnello con patate....davvero ottimi piatti...complimenti a tutto lo staff

11/01/2025: Una sorpresa. Prenotato una camera nell’hotel annesso e mangiato al ristorante. Piatti “semplici” ben presentati e con materie prime ottime. Buona la carta dei vini ricca di proposte atesine. Spettacolare il risotto alla zucca con salsa di formaggio tartufato. Ottimi gli spatzle con fonduta di formaggi, un piatto tanto semplice quanto gustoso. Pentito di non aver assaggiato uno dei tanti piatti in cui il protagonista era l’agnello.
Personale accogliente e preparato. Ci tornerò e mi sento di consigliarlo.
Complimenti allo staff davvero una bella sorpresa.

05/05/2025: Siamo stati due volte a cena in questo locale molto bello e panoramico, che è la pizzeria del Tonzhaus, hotel 4 stelle, e la sera è aperta fino alle 22. L'offerta è di pizze, focacce, insalate e hamburger. Abbiamo provato le pizze (con forno a legna) e le insalatone: tutto buonissimo, abbondante e con una grande ricchezza di ingredienti. Ottime birre e un servizio eccezionale da parte di una signora efficientissima, professionale, ma anche simpatica.

14/01/2024: Un bel salone con bella vista sul paese. Piatti originali molto ben preparati e ben presentati. Notevole la testina impanata, buono il pesce. Simpatica l'accoglienza con intriganti stuzzichini.

18/01/2024: Tutto buono, il personale non particolarmente cortese ma nemmeno maleducato. Le pietanze ordinate sono risultate tutte ottime.
11/09/2023: Rapporto qualità prezzo decisamente scarso, prezzi gonfiati per la festa della transumanza.
Assurdo pagare 16 euro 4 ravioli
Il prezzo dello strudel va dai 6 del menu normale ai 7 del giorno della transumanza…saranno cambiate le mele!
Nel complesso molto male, servizio rapido ma non all’altezza dei prezzi che sembrano imitare i ristoranti stellati!
Se potete portare un panino per questa escursione o arrivate più in alto!

Unterpifreil Imbiss

03/07/2024: Abbiamo trascorso qualche giorno in Val Senales.
Lungo la strada per l'hotel abbiamo trovato casualmente questo delizioso Imbiss.
Ci siamo fermati per una merenda a base di speck e formaggi locali.
La signora gentilissima ci ha portato due porzioni abbondanti sul classico tagliere in legno.
Super consigliato, merita veramente una sosta.Una piccola chicca.
5 stelle assolutamente.
