07/03/2025: We knew the restaurant when it was in the outdoor swimming pool in Schenna. Even back then the pizzas were fantastic. We have now been to the new restaurant in Meran and are really impressed. The great ambience and the tasteful furnishings, the fantastic and attentive service and the food impressed us again. As a starter we had the fried pizza and the Vitello Tonato, both of which were delicious. We shared the appetizers, pizza and tiramisu and were both very full. It is advisable to make a reservation, which worked great for us via WhatsApp. We would love to come back, it was a lovely evening.

18/02/2025: We've eaten here for the second year now.
Moderate prices and very good food. The quality hasn't declined, and there's never been any reason for complaint.
The staff is very friendly and attentive.
No long waits.
Even when picking up pizzas, they're very courteous and friendly.
This will remain our regular restaurant.
Photo shows mixed salad with turkey strips; my wife had mixed salad with tuna.
Both were very tasty and within the price range of €11.50...where else can you get that?

19/10/2024: When we made the request, we stated 2 dogs (collies) in the comment.
When we arrived they were surprised that we came with 2 dogs because they only allow 1 dog per room and our request could no longer be found in the system. The room assigned to us was not equipped for dogs and we were given another one. On the first day it rained heavily and there was a strong wind. When we came back from our trip we had water in the bathroom. There was heavy dripping from the ventilation above the toilet. By the time someone dealt with the problem, the afternoon we actually wanted to spend in the SPA had passed.
The hotel owner took it to the extreme by going into our room during dinner and allowing one of our dogs to escape. He was lucky that my dogs are so peaceful. After a day without rain, the whole thing started again the next morning and we had water in the bathroom again. There was no offer for the remaining days, so we decided to cancel the vacation. It was just disappointing.
The good cuisine and the service staff were positive.

06/08/2024: Einfach unbeschreiblich gut, ich komm schon seit über 30 Jahren zum Gustl und bin immer wieder begeistert. Jeder Südtirol Urlaub findet bei Gustl seinen Höhepunkt. Essen mega lecker, Service top, Preise adäquat. Sehr zu empfehlen
15/07/2024: Auf der bergabwanderung hier halt gemacht. Sehr nettes Team und sehr schnelle Bedienung. Und das zu diesen super Preisen. Werden versuchen wieder zu kommen. Es lohnt sich. Meine Frau meinte, hier hatte sie den besten Eiskaffee den sie bis jetzt je gehabt hat.

La qualità delle vivande, a dispetto delle reboanti descrizioni, tradisce le attese.
Dirò a titolo esemplificativo che "il pane contadino biologico fatto in casa", servito scenograficamente su un letto di chicchi di cereale, dovrebbe essere fresco e non gommoso (sic!).
Lo speck affettato, protagonista del tagliere tirolese, mi è risultato asciutto e fibroso.
Interessante, per contro, l'hamburger con pane al carbone vegetale.
Il personale è professionale e cortese.
Discutibile la logica di assegnazione dei tavoli: quelli più appetibili della terrazza vengono riservati ai prenotati; l'invito alla condivisione del desco con estranei investe in primis i clienti non prenotati.

04/08/2024: Meiner Meinung nach: die Stafellalm hat ihren Namen nicht gestohlen, das Essen kam schön gestaffelt. Aber das Essen war sehr fein und die Bedienung war freundlich, ein Minuspunkt war das andere Gäste laut einen Schnaps angeboten bekommen haben, aber uns wurde nichts angeboten

03/11/2023: Wir hatten wie alle 6-8 Wochen wieder einen Besuch bei Karolina am Hasshof. Wie immer wurden wir herzlichst empfangen und bewirtet. Wir durften wieder Ihre selbstgemachten Schmankerl probieren! Wie alles was Karolina zubereitet oder selbst herstellt ein absoluter Genuss. Herzlichen Dank und wieder ein großes Lob von uns Allen!

03/10/2023: Fantastische Küche, sehr kreativ und sehr lecker. Wir hatten die Spezialitäten - Knödel mit Brennessel und Löwenzahn, Bergkäse und dazu ein Wildkräuter Salat. Eine Augenweide und kulinarisch eine Entdeckung. Auch der Apfelstrudel war ein großer Genuss. Der Service war top, und der Senior hatte immer einen netten Schnack. Die Aussicht ist ein Traum. Nicht entgehen lassen
