22/10/2025: Amazing Food, Super Friendly Staff, and Open Late! A Must-Visit!
We had a brilliant dinner experience at Pizzeria Rosmarin!
The quality of the food was outstanding. I ordered the steak, and it was perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. The pizza was also fantastic.
What made the evening truly great was the combination of delicious food with their excellent service. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, and we especially appreciated that they were open late, making it the perfect spot for our dinner.
I highly recommend Pizzeria Rosmarin to anyone in the area looking for great food, late hours, and a wonderful atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.

29/08/2025: We were only there for dinner. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and clean.
The service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food was only mediocre for such a place. Given the prices, we would have expected much more.
19/08/2025: Excellent location if you're staying in the Aurina Valley, a 3-minute drive from the Spikenboden ski lift, and an easy walk from the hotel to the Riva waterfalls and the castle.
The stay was peaceful and relaxing, and there's the option of dining in the hotel restaurant (all very good). The breakfast was top-notch!

06/09/2025: First, the criticisms why we didn't give it 5 stars:
Our room was only accessible via a narrow spiral staircase. This should be included in the room description. The room had a sloping roof, which is critical for people over 1.8m tall. The bed was very low, and there was a hard wedge about 10cm wide between the mattresses, which was uncomfortable. The room had a clean, long-haired pile, which we don't think is ideal.
What bothered us most was that there was only one towel per day for the sauna and pool. There were no additional towels in the sauna. We find this very unhygienic. A shame for such a great sauna area. The afternoon snack was only available from 4 to 5 and was very limited.
If it weren't for the above-mentioned shortcomings, we would have given it 5 stars. Super friendly service staff. The dinner was excellent.
We would still come back.

12/07/2025: I'm giving it 5* because I can't rate the tavern, and the owner probably can't help it. Once we got there, we realized we had to pay to enter the castle. We just wanted a quick bite to eat... what a shame.

31/08/2025: The perfect place for those who want to be ripped off.
€9 for a cappuccino, an orzo, and a coffee—a terrible one, too—without table service is ridiculous.
Avoid eating here because the prices are sky-high.
29/08/2025: The bar is beautifully located in the middle of the forest and could be a wonderful place to stop. Unfortunately, the atmosphere is spoiled by the many souvenir items cluttering the space and the somewhat loud music.
The prices are also outrageously high: €35 for polenta with goulash, €20 for a sandwich, and €4.50 for a cappuccino. True hospitality is not only about friendliness but also about fair pricing. Such practices will damage the region’s good reputation in the long run.
On top of that, the forced small talk feels inauthentic. To the question “Where are you from?”, one always gets the cliché reply “I know it, that’s where the most beautiful women come from”.
A pity, because with genuine hospitality, a calmer atmosphere, and fairer prices, this place could truly shine. Luckily, only a 10-minute walk away there is the very nice pizzeria and bar "Cascade", which offers a much more pleasant setting and excellent food options.

20/08/2024: A ridosso della terza cascata di Riva sorge questo hotel ristorante dove ci siamo fermati per uno spuntino ed abbiamo ordinato una minestra d’orzo (buona), un antipasto “spuntino” composto da uovo sodo, cetriolino, due assaggi di formaggi , salsiccia affumicata e speck, direi nell’insieme ampiamente sufficiente per gusto e quantità accompagnato da un cestino di pane bianco (nella media) e nero (buono).
Ad accompagnare il pasto della birra media alla spina, acqua ed un caffè per un totale di € 25,50 in due, direi congruo per quando gustato e la location.
Il menù propone prettamente piatti tirolesi caldi e freddi ed offre servizio bar anche nell’ampio dehor antistante la struttura.
Il personale è stato solerte e gentile, il cibo e la cucina sono da 6,5-7 ed i prezzi non sono esagerati.
Un’esperienza positiva nel nostro caso e lo consiglio per una sosta ristoratrice.
02/08/2024: Il personale e scortese, e arrivato a tavola un piatto che non era mio l’ho detto e al posto di cambiarlo mi hanno portato del piccante perché il piatto che avevo ordinato era piccante.

02/03/2025: Trekking superlativo con ramponi e ciaspole per raggiungere il rifugio Roma. Camminando non si può non ammirare il panorama tutt'attorno. Arrivati al rifugio ci accoglie una signora molto simpatica che ci rifocilla con speck e strudel squisiti.

07/09/2024: Oltre trenta minuti di attesa per sentirsi dire da una cameriera maleducata che la cucina non ce la faceva, quando a persone appena arrivate stava prendendo l’ordine.
Tavoli all’interno appiccicosi e personale simpatico come un calcio nel sedere.

I canederli verdi con cuore di formaggio eccelsi. Posto molto piacevole, consiglio di arrivarci partendo da stazione di arrivo seggiovia Sonnklar Bergstation con sentiero 27/27 passando per laghetto Trejer.
