08/08/2025: We've been to the Panholzer in Kaltern four times now – and have been absolutely thrilled every time. The combination of excellent food, warm hospitality, and beautiful ambiance never fails to impress us. We've already recommended the restaurant to many family members and friends – and everyone has been equally impressed.

17/08/2025: Superb place with a beautiful view. The staff was very friendly. The primi were also very good. A sharing platter was very good, but a little pricey. The glass of Pinot Noir at 8 euros was also a bit steep.
I recommend this place without hesitation.

23/08/2025: I was just sitting on the terrace as a day guest. The location was good, the service was okay, but I didn't feel "welcome."
17/08/2025: We were on vacation here by the lake for 10 days. If you just come to the restaurant for a bite to eat, you have a beautiful view of Lake Kaltern from the terrace. The rooms were very fresh every morning after housekeeping. The only downside was that there was no air conditioning, and it was way too hot at night. There was also no refrigerator to keep drinks cold. But it was still very nice. The service was always very friendly and cheerful. We would definitely recommend the hotel.

21/07/2025: Amazing stay you could ever imagine. We didn’t know this place but so lucky we had found it. Great food great people working at the hotel and the restaurant. Very relaxing in a beautiful environment

07/08/2025: We ordered a takeaway pizza on a long Thursday in Kaltern and had a few drinks while we ate. The service was excellent, and both the drinks and pizza were ready super quickly. The pizza was delicious. We'd love to come back!
06/08/2025: We ordered two Margherita pizzas: average, nothing particularly memorable. Unfortunately, the wait was really long—about an hour and twenty minutes—perhaps we just happened to be on an unlucky night, but the service was decidedly slow.

02/09/2025: My wife and I have been going to Eggbauern for over 20 years.
We're either on vacation in South Tyrol or eating here when passing through from Italy.
Huge portions that are extremely good, and very reasonably priced.
Child-friendly with several trampolines.
However, the ambiance is rather rustic. But the food is really good.

08/05/2025: Der Service war sehr gut kann die teilweise schlechten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen aber das ist wie meist individuell. Ab 17:00 Uhr gibt es Pizza die sehr zu empfehlen ist. Auch das sonstige Angebot ist sehr gut. Nette freundliche angestellte leckere Pizza Preisleistung ist in Ordnung vor der tollen Kulisse des kalterer Sees sehr zu empfehlen.

03/05/2025: Man warnte uns vor der Größe der Portionen, die Bedienung riet aufgrund Menge von einem Salat ab.
Mein Mann wählte ein Zigeunerschnitzel, ich ein Pfefferschnitzel.
Portionsgröße normal.
Mein Fleisch war 4-5 mm dick und pupstrocken (Entschuldigung)
Das meines Mannes nicht viel besser.
Wir sind nicht verwöhnt, aber wir verstehen die guten Bewertungen nicht.
Das Essen war kein Genuss.
Wir werden das Lokal nicht mehr aufsuchen
06/01/2025: Tipico ristorante dell'Alto Adige, il posto è caratteristico, la cucina è ottima e abbondante. I primi sono eccezionali e i secondi perfetti. Consigliatissimo.

13/10/2024: Sehr feines Essen. Die beste Pizza "Buffala" überhaupt. Stimmiges Ambiente. Freundliche Bedienung. Sehr gerne wieder. Wir hätten gerne für den nächsten Abend reserviert aber leider ist bereits Saisonschluss 2024....gerne ein ander Mal wieder.
