17/08/2023: Abbiamo pernottato per 4 giorni e abbiamo avuto la fortuna di provare la fantastica cucina della Fattoria. Quiete, ottimo cibo e un fantastico vino. Le camere, come il ristorante e la piscina, sono pulite e ampie. Paesaggio e ambiente meravigliosi. Tutto perfetto. Fortemente consigliato.

10/10/2023: This is under new ownership, now called Ristorante Pizzeria Il Ponte. Called in having just arrived for our holiday. Due to new ownership there was limited drink options, but the house risd and a lager were spot on. A couple of excellent pizzas were Doug on after most of day travelling. Service was great.

05/09/2023: Went to the restaurant on a whim with my wife and wow was it good. This was the best pizza I have ever had in my life. It was a quaint easy and the staff spoke English very well. I highly recommend this place if your in the area. Everything on the menu looked great.

27/09/2023: Lovely charming cellar room but extremely loud. Wait staff are friendly and very good with service. Food is flavorless and uninspired. Extremely overpriced. €25 for cocktails. €33 for pasta.

05/10/2023: Very, very disappointed. The good: 1. A very beautiful restaurant in a lovely setting. Quite a friendly greeting. The bad: 1. The service was very spotty. The pleasant server took our order but we never saw her again. It was the junior servers the rest of the way even though only 5 tables were occupied. 2. Our first course was delivered to the table less than 5 minutes after we ordered and before the wine (red flag?). 3. Nobody asked if the food was good or if we enjoyed anything. We got a definite impression that they knew the answer and didn’t want to ask (or even visit the table). The ugly: 1. The Food. Where to start….as a general point the prices were astronomical. 2. Crostini. Very poor quality but very high prices (a theme). 3. Gnocchi- pretty good. The best dish we had, but 30 euros for a small dish of decent gnocchi? 4. Rack of lamb. Dismal. Ordered medium rare, arrived cold and overcooked, essentially inedible. Ate two bites and left the balance. Nobody inquired if I enjoyed it (d’uh). 5. Pasta vongole. Bad. Soo bad. Odd flavour that invited the conclusion that the clams were”off”. Plate wasn’t consumed but (again) no one asked if we enjoyed it. We were afraid to order dessert due to issues listed above. Summary: Substandard food with poor service at wildly inflated prices in a beautiful restaurant. I’d humbly suggest you visit the 100’s of Tuscan restaurants in the area that care about the experience of their customers.

24/09/2023: Spent 2 weeks in Italy from Sorrento, Rome, Florence, Venice; this was by far the worst and most expensive meal around. The hotel knows you are trapped and limited for other dining options and overprices their dishes as a result. I can’t remember a more aggravating meal. We had to scarf down the loaves of bread because the food we ordered had no taste. 5 meatballs cost 33 euro; and they were tasteless. The waiter had the audacity to kiss his fingers when describing their bolognese dish. My wife got the dish and it had absolutely no flavor. We had to add salt and grated cheese and it still had no flavor. I was never so appalled by anyone who could gesture so highly towards a specific dish and it end up being so terrible. Nearby Tuscan towns have much cheaper restaurants with some of the best food I ever had. Avoid this restaurant, it’s a trap.

02/08/2023: Tout d’abord, nous avons dû attendre longtemps la prise de commande. Ils se sont occupés de 3 tables avant nous alors que nous étions les premiers arrivés. Si au moins ils avaient pris la commande pour l’apéritif, même pas… Ensuite, aucun conseil. Mise en bouche insignifiante et peu de goût Entrées bien présentées, mais pour l’une, deux petites bouchées et c’est fini, 71€ d’envolés pour les deux. À la fin de l’entrée, le vin ne nous avait toujours pas été servi, alors que commandé avec tout le reste. Je le réclame, ils amènent la bouteille et ne nous servent pas. Il a fallu leur expliquer que je préférais le boire dans un verre 😡 Puis plat de pâtes au fruit de mers pour l’un, il n’y avait absolument aucun fruit de mer, que de la sauce. Pour l’autre du turbo, qui bien que très bon était servi en quantité microscopique et sans autre accompagnement qu’une mini courgette. Bref, nous nous sommes arrêtés là, pas de desserts. Le tout pour 175€, alors même qu’ils n’ont pas compté le vin face notre mécontentement. Totalement déconseillé ⛔️

20/07/2023: Abbiamo cenato in questo meraviglioso ristorante, che fa parte di un altrettanto incantevole tenuta. La terrazza dove abbiamo cenata ha una vista stupenda sulle colline del Chianti, e nonostante le giornate afose, il clima mite e ventilato della serata, ci ha fatto dimenticare la torrida giornata. La tavola era composta da 4 cari amici, il personale è stato gentile, impeccabile e professionale mentre la tranquillità e l'atmosfera magica ci ha permesso di chiacchierare amabilmente tutta la sera. Per quanto riguarda il menù siamo riusciti a provare quasi tutti i piatti e l'ho trovato delicato e gustoso dagli antipasti ai dolci. Lo Chef ci ha coccolato con alcune sorprese davvero molto gradite. Il Maitre ci ha consigliato un ottima cantina della zona, proponendo lo stesso vino in due diverse versioni che si abbinava perfettamente ai piatti scelti. Insomma a mio modesto parere il ristorante è all'altezza della stella.

16/01/2024: Personale gentile e sorridente, comodo per un caffé ed uno spuntino, ottima la torta della nonna, davvero da farci il bis e pure il tris.
